Lightforce was very responsive to our initial enquiry for a quote, and the follow-up, once we accepted their quote, was excellent. I especially commend the Sales consultant, Kyle , who was so patient and informative throughout the whole process. Installation day went very well. The issue of the documentation associated with compliance was a bit slow, but was instantly rectified once we reminded them. The inspector said it was a "good install". Our system is only 6 weeks old but it is going very well so far. Thank you Lightforce, we are very happy with our new facility.

I have had my solar system since 2022.
Have had some truly shocking experiences with this company . Including having to find out myself that Lightforce hadn't hooked up over half the house to the solar system. Unsurprisingly I was seeing very little difference in my power bill until I sorted that problem out myself
I read another review where they also had part of the house unconnected!

Since then I ve been, like a lot of customers, annoyed by the poor performance of the app monitoring the Home power Energizer. Was out of operation for months last year. Off for weeks this year. Zero communication from Lightforce to tell us what's going on. It's all up to us to call them out. I was lucky enough to get a reply but have read lots of comments where no reply ever came from Lightforce. Not good enough.

I was at first apprehensive when I was told that the initial interaction would be done by vid call and not someone coming around but I now understand thats not necessary.
My experience with Lightforce has been nothing but positive. I cannot speak higher of the advice and support I received on all aspects firstly from Jay (good man) through to Blue (tēnā koe e hoa) and the crew Fanie and Lewis....
I had a lot of questions which were duly answered. I left my review for a number of months and am very happy.

The sales pitch via Zoom and the resulting proposal were great - they listened and suggested something that suited us. The installation team was professional and left the place tidy. The one problem I had was after installation - trying to get hold of someone who could tell me where we were in the process and what to do about applying to change power providers / plans. There seems to be a hole in their beautifully illustrated process diagram, and I was left to field multiple calls to Lightforce, the current power provider and the inspector to find out what my next steps were. What a pity that the last impression that I had was negative, as the rest was all positive.

Watch out for the very small print in the contract. Lightforce take no responsibility for faulty parts, they expect you to go back to the manufacturer and claim under warranty. It doesn't matter to them about breaching consumer guarantee act and if the system has a fault and not fit for purpose. Not their problem according to them.

So much potential.
Their on site engineers are great, BUT, when things go wrong the company shrugs its obligations. I have a 2nd failed battery (Energizer Homepower) and they are not taking their obligations seriously as they think the manufacture need to front up and not them. Off to court it will have to go

The Lightforce Solar Team were very informative and helpful right from the beginning of us exploring solar options. They suggested a system to suit our situation and didn't oversell.

To all future Lightforce customers... 2023 Lightforce installed 36 x panels on my new build home. I thoroughly recommend them , why ... Very good quality products, great service and even more important Awesome after install backup ! Michael D

We had a smooth transition into the solar world, thanks to the team, extra credit needs to go to Blue & crew who installed the panels & controller. They were very knowledgeable and worked to a high standard of workmanships. If we had more roof space, we would be installing more.

We have had the most amazing experience getting a Solar system on our property by Lightforce NZ. From the first enquiry contact through to the zoom call, walking us through options and how the system worked, to the installation we cannot fault the company. They were knowledgeable, prepared, and efficient. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for Solar. It has been such a breath of fresh air dealing with a company willing to look after their customers and do exactly what they said they would. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. The communication was perfect.
