Smooth and Professional Car Sale Experience with LMC via Motorway
I recently sold my car to LMC through Motorway, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. After the auction, Clive from LMC promptly got in touch to arrange a viewing at a time that suited me. On the day, Tim and Graham arrived right on schedule. They were professional, courteous, and efficient—inspected the car, offered a very fair price (significantly better than Webuyanycar), and arranged instant payment on the spot.
All three—Clive, Tim, and Graham—were a pleasure to deal with and are a real credit to LMC. Other used car dealers could learn a lot from their approach. Highly recommended!

One of the worst costumer experiences…
One of the worst costumer experiences ever. They asked for £500 initially, which l found too high just to secure a view of the car, then lower it to £200, thinking this was going to be refundable if we did not buy it (as with previous experiences searching used cars), but it was not... and they only tell you after paying it, and only if you ask if it is refundable...! They win, you lose...they force the sale on you. On the top of it, you have to wait for them to listen to the "training" recording of the call you made for the appointment. What if the call was not recorded?
I call them last week, to get updates on the phone call reviews, and I was told that they found 'evidence' that they told me over the phone that the deposit was not refundable...Well, yes...but after I made the payment of the £200...I am waiting now to receive copies of these recordings, because they allege it was before I made the payment, whereas I say otherwise. Accordingly: "Within the next 30 days". I will be filling my case with the Citizens Advice, to leave a precedent for this car dealer.

Worst car selling company ever I came across
My name is Imran. If LMC have guts , call me and you must have my number . My car reg starts with OV71. The car have bought Hyundai ioniq. They said we have one key and another key will come with log book. ( it was a lie ). The battery gone flat right after next day and I had to call AA because I had a school run. After a week I went to car wash and I have found big scuff, dents and scratches because they put primer and sell it to me so that I cannot find those scratches or dents. I have got EPB sign on dashboard after 2 weeks of the collection of my car and it cost me to fix £196. I contact after sales and they said someone will contact with you but still I am waiting till Today. Mr jengis the salesman is another form of cheat as I told him that I will this car as a uber so that make sure the car sound not have any cosmetic damage . But he didn’t take it seriously. What I have found LMC, their car either outside damage or engine damage. They are not trustworthy at all. Also they reset the mileage of my car as I went to do MOT and trying to put current mileage and it always shows it’s lower than previous milage. They sell scrap cars from enterprise which runs like a horse. But they won’t tell you that they collect cars from rental Company. Could you imagine how people rent car and drive. The condition of the car is dead already also they are charging high from market value . Please about this scammers.

Thank you for your message. We’re sorry to hear that you’re dissatisfied with your experience, and we take your concerns seriously.
To clarify:
Spare Key: At the time of sale, you were advised that the vehicle only came with one key. If a second key had been promised in writing, please provide that documentation so we can review it.
Battery Issue: A flat battery the day after collection can occur for many reasons, particularly if the vehicle has not been driven for a period. As it was not a known fault at point of sale, it falls outside the scope of post-sale liability.
Cosmetic Damage: All vehicles are visually inspected and prepared before sale. If you have found damage that was not visible at the time of purchase, we would require photographic evidence along with a report from an independent garage.
EPB Fault: You did not inform us prior to authorising the repair. We cannot retrospectively approve costs we were not made aware of.
Mileage: Your claim regarding mileage tampering is extremely serious and categorically denied. All our vehicles undergo a full HPI check prior to sale, and no mileage discrepancies were recorded. If you have official evidence to support this claim, we invite you to submit it so we can fully investigate.
Additionally, we reject your accusations of dishonesty and misconduct by our staff, particularly Mr. Jengis. Personal attacks are not acceptable. Our vehicles are sourced through reputable channels, including ex-fleet providers, which is standard industry practice and always declared on the advert where applicable.
We appreciate feedback, but your claims must be based on verifiable facts. If you would like to resolve this matter constructively, please email full supporting documentation to aftercare@lmc-cars.co.uk, and our management team will review your case accordingly.
Great experience from start to finish.
Sales person (Mo) was very friendly and helpful, there was no pressure and he was generous with his time.
The car we looked at was in good condition, and Mo/LMC were flexible and understanding with our queries.
Great after care.
Easy to contact throughout (via WhatsApp).
I highly recommend LMC and will use them again.

Car defects kept hidden
Car defects kept hidden. Car wiper washer has a serious defect which was was sold as " the washer fluid needs topping off and will be fine" which solved the issue temporarily but did not fix the issue which IS that the reservoir is leaking. The dash board error popped up as soon as i drove off from there. On the day of collection no effort was made to ensure the car was cleaned for delivery. The car roof had bird poop all over it.
