Lodge Brothers are an independent, employee owned funeral service. 7 generations of our family have been helping local families in their time of need. For 240 years we have provided funerals, both modern & traditional, with reverence and compassion, for all faiths and the non-religious. We can facilitate cremations, burials, direct cremations and remembrance services. We bring our Lodge difference to every service offered including our own legal team (providing wills, probate and lasting POAs) and our highly skilled masons providing unique memorials, inscriptions and design work. We have a dedicated Funeral Plan Team who can help with planning for the future with a funeral plan or funeral wishes. We also supply floral tributes, Orders of Service, cremation urns and keepsake jewellery.

Mum Got The Great Service She Deserved
Thank you, to everyone at Barnes & Sons (London Shepherd's Bush branch of Lodge Bros) - the whole team guided myself and my family the whole way through a truly difficult time.
Deb - you made arrangements with my mum all those years ago; giving her great comfort that she'd be in great secure hands when the time would come for her to move on. When it did, you explained everything so easily and in such a friendly manner. You put me at ease knowing that mum's wishes would be upheld with the greatest of respect and dignity.
To Alastair - you conducted mum's service so elegantly yet with firm conviction, which really reflected mum's personality and aura. Thank you so much for helping us prepare for the service at every step, so she was remembered in a fashion that resonated with all who attended.
Thanks also to Kerry, Zoe and Rob, who all also played their past in making mum's farewell day a deeply heartfelt success.

With the help of the Lodge Brother's staff bureau in Ashford I had choosen the most desired memorial headstone that we wanted for my dear deceased mother (bless her soul) and they were very helpful in guiding us and completing all the relevant documents. Very sad time as lost our Brother suddenly. Lodge Brothers were very professional and respectful . They looked after us extremely well and took the worry out of all the preparation. Doing everything for us. Maaeka was particularly professional covering all the aspects we needed to give our Brother a befitting Funeral. I would definitely recommend Lodge Brothers. Organising a gravestone
The staff were friendly and helpful and the process of choosing a gravestone was straightforward.
We were able to be at the burial ground when the stone was erected, and were impressed with the care taken by the installers.

Compassionate, Professional Care in a Difficult Time
From start to finish we were treated with the utmost sensitivity, compassion and professionalism during a very difficult time. Julie handled all the arrangements with care, clear communication and a calming presence, she made a hard situation much easier for our family. Chris Howell, the celebrant, led the service with dignity, warmth and perfect timing, and the entire funeral team were respectful, attentive and reassuring throughout. Following my Mother's death, all the staff at Lodge Brothers were fantastic. Sympathetic, thoughtful, positive, and with an unerring ability to understand what mattered to us as a family, and what didn't in planning the time after her death, and then the funeral. Lodge Brothers in Weybridge treated my…
Lodge Brothers in Weybridge treated my mum with great respect and dignity from the moment she passed.
Jo in the Weybridge office was caring, sympathetic and professional through every interaction with our family. She made the whole process, which seems daunting when you have just lost a loved one, as easy as possible through her knowledge and empathy.
Sharon, who managed things on the day of the funeral, made sure everything went exactly as planned through her calmness and professionalism.
Overall the whole family felt very grateful to all Lodge Brothers did for my mum and us.

interred by Lodge Brothers at Borough Cemetery Richmond upon Thames, 23 October 2023.
My mothers presentation was poor and shoddy in the chapel, asked to bring in clothes but on seeing her only the top half of her was showing, she looked scrunched up in the coffin, hair unwashed, i know because i know what her hair looks like clean, too much wax on her mouth i could not apply lipstick that was offered. The celebrant was told of my requirements which were not fulfilled to my request, and i had a phone call from the Thames Ditton branch days before the service about music that the celebrant should have dealt with, the undertakers were first class, i believe the head undertaker was Paul.

The concerns you have raised in this review were brought to our attention following your mother’s funeral in 2023 and were fully investigated and addressed with you at that time. As these matters have already been considered and responded to, we do not believe it would be appropriate or helpful to revisit the individual circumstances on a public review platform.
