omg i cant believe i wasteddo not buy lorex save yourself the headache so much…

omg i cant believe i wasted so much money on this lorex crap. bought the 4k package like 1300 bucks thinking no subscription local storage wired cameras gonna be perfect right? WRONG. absolute nightmare from the start.
setup was hell, app kept crashing every 5 minutes, cameras wouldnt stay connected even tho everything wired perfect. had to call support like 4 times just to get live view to work and even then its glitchy af. motion detection is trash, gets triggered by literally a leaf moving but misses my wife walking right in front of it half the time?? night vision looks like potato quality, super grainy and blurry, not even close to what they show in ads.
then the system just randomly dies. cameras go offline for hours, nvr freezes and i lose recordings, had to reboot everything like twice a week. one camera power thing died after like 7-8 months and getting replacement was impossible, support is useless they just read scripts and tell me reset again like thats gonna fix hardware failing lol.
honestly feel scammed. threw away so much cash on this junk. shouldve gone with reolink or anything else. 1 star cuz it turns on sometimes when it feels like it. do not buy lorex save yourself the headache trust me
