Terrible check-in experience / monopoly in the international airport

Terrible receptionist staff and policy at “The Club” lounge at LIM (Jorge Chávez International Airport), The worst lounge i have ever been to in the world! They have a policy where the receptionist is rude and tells you only you will be allowed 3 hours before flight departure (not boarding!). So, they want you in there for only 2 hours.. Customers are stuck at the mercy of the rude staff and they do this to sell extra hours at the lounge for money. Its also a monopoly if you have Priority pass. Worst user experience even though it is open 24 hours

BUYER BEWARE of this company

BUYER BEWARE: The lounge I had paid for in Fort Lauderdale was very busy the day of my reservation. They would not honour the reservation. I emailed LoungeBuddy immediately who responded fairly quickly saying they’ll get back to me in 5-10 business days when they speak with the lounge. A month later and they keep making excuses for not refunding my money despite the lounge not responding to them. If they can’t back up their customers when the lounges don’t uphold the reservations how can they stay in service? Seems my only option is to fight the charges on my credit card for services paid for but not provided.

Lousy Cancellation Policy and Service. Do not book

I paid for 3 hour access to Hello Sky Lounge in the Rome Airport for 3 people with the intent to take showers on our arrival. Our flight was delayed and no showers were available for an additional hour making it impossible for us to safely make our tour in Rome. Neither Lounge Buddy or Hello Sky Lounge would give us a refund and travel insurance requires a minimum delay of 6 hours so I am out $84 for a service that was never provided. Cancellation policies to cancel 24 hours in advance are ridiculous when no one can predict a late flight and a wait for an hour for a shower is unreasonable. I do not recommend this service. Buyer Beware!!!

This is an update. I finally received a $42 refund. This does not change my review because it is still only half the amount that should be refunded but wanted to mention that the agent on the phone at least tried.

Great customer support

lounge I booked would not grant entry as they said the code I had did not work. LoungeBuddy customer service responded to my email in less than an hour and opened an investigation. After 1.5 weeks they came back and advised they would refund based on what happened. they kept me updated throughout the period. was really good experience especially when its not the customer support agent's fault I had issues accessing the lounge

Avoid, no empathy will difficulties

I booked an incorrect lounge and did not realize until actually in the airport. When I asked for a refund no empathy at all, I knew it was a mistake but just got quoted as below. Use someone else. Worth noting that I did key in flight when booking so you have to think that if the app warns you so should the web page.
Upon checking your flight, it shows that you are going to a non-Schengen country. This means that the lounge you have booked is not accessible to your flight. The lounge is only for passengers on a Schengen flight. Kindly note that when making a booking, there is no option to key in flight details in the website. Or if you are doing it on the app it will just show you the lounges on the airport. However, the passenger still needs to check on important details and make sure that it is accessible to them

Bookings not guaranteed and will not refund

I used Loungebuddy for the first time to book a lounge during a long work travel trip. During booking you see a confirmation that the lounge is confirming before it charges you. I get to the lounge, and they can't find the booking nor will let me in due to being full. I rightly request a refund from Loungebuddy same day which they agreed to as a "courtesy" which is a weird way to word it despite it being their error. They also told me the refund would take 5-10 business days. I still have not received a refund 3 weeks later and am having to contest the charge with my credit card. They gave the reason that they are waiting for the individual lounge to respond, meaning they would be the one who will decide to refund. Since I did business with loungebuddy and booked thru them, they should refund me. It's not my problem if the lounge doesn't want to work with them. If I wanted to deal with the lounge directly I would have done so and not used loungebuddy. I did not know it would be so difficult to get what I paid for or if not, get my money back without having to fight for it by sending multiple messages explaining the situation and talking to multiple reps and now go thru a dispute process with my CC. Be aware that bookings are not honored or guaranteed via loungebuddy, so be cautious when using them.....

Fraud company, literally

I have been a loyal customer for years till one day they decided to be acquired and from then only customer with American Express CC is accepted, I have over $225 credit there and found out I can not use it unless I have American express, of course, made me very furious to know this how they can't even design the app to use credit at least till it's run out and to use the payment they preferred after? OF COURSE, NOT, I contacted the help said they will give it as form of gift card so I can use it and deduct my amount, guess what, in front of the lounge after 17h flights, short layover just want to rest my leg a bit before another daunting journey for 5 hours, the gift card not working, they are literally robbing their costumer!! I don't recommend this company at all
