I do not agree to sign up to you doing anything further for me in reference to a mis sold car finance and as I filled in an online enquiry form in 3 steps literally 20 mins ago I am utilising a cooling off period and advising your company to take no further action on my behalf.

Like many others I submitted my email…
Like many others I submitted my email with a signature to look into any car finance agreements. I did not sign to ask them to instruct. They have misleadingly signed me up. I want to cancel (30 mins after the email they sent. But there is no way to do it easily. I will write to you but I am so cross like others that you have illegally bound me to something I did not request. No matter the reply you give here this is the truth. AVOID this company. If you see this send your email address because I will be reporting you to the financial ombudsman and all your advertising agencies otherwise ((I have many contacts within them) this is immoral and illegal

Just to clarify, we do not submit complaints to lenders without clear consent from the client. This consent is provided by the client during the final step of the signing process, where the terms are outlined and agreed to. If no consent is given, no complaint is submitted.
The final step of our online form — where your electronic signature is provided — explains that your authorisation will be applied to the agreement documents and emailed to you.
We also highlight our regulatory status at every stage — we are a law firm authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
At the moment, we’re unable to locate your details through Trustpilot, which means we can't confirm whether a complaint has been submitted in your name. We’ve submitted a request via Trustpilot to help identify your case, or alternatively, you’re welcome to contact us directly at info@lstsolicitors.co.uk and we’ll ensure this is looked into as a priority.

I’ve tried to get in contact to cancel going forward with my claim but no one has gotten back to me. I am still receiving updates on my claim which I no longer want to go ahead with.

No way of getting through to anyone to cancel your claim
There is no contact details to get through to anyone and the email that is provided on some of the answers on trust pilot bounced back stating the email is not correct, I assumed this was one of the websites where I could just check whether I was eligible for any compensation not to go straight through, It was also not made clear that the signature was for them to go ahead to start a full claim I thought it was to give consent to do a soft credit check, the website does not allow you to cancel the claim either. I’d like to cancel my claim whilst I am still within my 14 day cooling period!!!
