I ordered a made-to-measure mirror with a bevelled edge from Made2Measure, and I’m really pleased with the result. It was delivered all the way to Scotland and arrived safely and without any issues.
The only small thing I would mention is that I felt the packaging could have been a little more secure. However, the mirror arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or damage, so I was very happy.
Great service and a lovely quality product. I would definitely use Made2Measure again and would happily recommend them!

I would give no stars if possible
I would give no stars if possible. I ordered a large mirror for our bathroom, paid for extras including foil backing which the website states is a safety backing, bevelled edges for the corners not to be sharp if anyone touched or cleaned it and holes to attach to the wall. We handled with care as instructed during the fitting process but the one side of the mirror on the lightest contact with the wall cracked and sharp shards of glass came away. For this reason we have had to discard the mirror as it is not safety glass as lead to believe on the website. We reached out to the company and they just said the edges are delicate and only offered a discount on a further order which for obvious reasons I will not be doing. The mirror is very thin, is not safety glass and breaks very easy on minimal contact. I’d be very cautious ordering these if safety is your preference for a mirror

We’re very sorry to hear that your mirror was damaged during installation and completely understand how disappointing this must have been.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points regarding the specification supplied and the purpose of the options selected.
Your mirror was manufactured from 6mm mirror, which is the thicker and stronger mirror option we supply. Unfortunately, mirror is still a fragile glass product and is not safety glass. Despite its overall strength, the edges, especially bevelled remain the most vulnerable area. Contact between an exposed edge and a hard surface such as a wall can cause the glass to chip or crack, sometimes even from what appears to be relatively light contact.
The bevelled edge is a decorative design feature rather than a safety feature. A bevel is created by grinding the face of the mirror towards the edge, producing the attractive angled border. This actually makes the glass progressively thinner towards the outer edge, so a bevelled edge should not be interpreted as making the mirror more resistant to impact or less sharp.
The foil backing is an alternative to the recommended safety backing and sometimes used when fitting in bathrooms. This is applied to the rear of the mirror to help prevent water ingress and can also help retain broken pieces of mirror against the backing in the event of breakage, rather than making the mirror itself unbreakable or impact resistant. However, depending upon the nature and location of the damage, where the glass is not directly bonded to the backing, some small pieces or shards can unfortunately still become detached.
We are therefore sorry if there has been any misunderstanding that foil backing meant the mirror itself was safety glass or could not produce loose fragments if damaged. We will review the wording on our website to ensure the distinction between safety-backed mirror, foil backed mirror and impact-resistant/safety glass is as clear as possible.
When you contacted us, we explained that mirror edges are particularly vulnerable during installation and offered a discount towards a replacement. We appreciate that following your experience you did not wish to take us up on that offer.
We are genuinely sorry that the mirror was damaged and that you were left disappointed with your purchase. However, we do feel it is important to clarify that the mirror supplied was the stronger 6mm specification ordered, and that both the bevelled edge and foil backing performed different functions from those described in the review.

5 pieces of 8mm thick toughen glass for my kitchen bench
I ordered 5 pieces of toughen glass for my kitchen bench and they are in all peculiar shapes with 75mm rounded corners. Despite the rather complicated shape and corners, M2M had made them good fit to my wooden benches. The delivery was great and the driver Andy was very helpful. Excellent merchant and will trade with them again in the future!

Custom Mirrors for Pilates Studio
Really happy with our mirrors from Made2Measure and have given them 5 stars.
They came back to us with a quote really quickly and were able to provide exactly what we needed for our Pilates studio. Production was also really quick and whenever we had any questions, they got back to us promptly and were really helpful.
We chose to install the mirrors ourselves and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made the process much easier than expected.
The only thing to be aware of is that although production is quick, the delivery lead time is quite long, so it’s definitely worth factoring this in if you’re working to a deadline.
A special mention has to go to our delivery driver Jason, who genuinely went above and beyond to help us with the delivery and was brilliant.
Overall, really pleased with the mirrors and the service. They look great in our studio and we’d definitely recommend Made2Measure.
