Don't buy from this company. Their products come from abroad and they don't pay the customs. I had to pay an extra £75. More than that the experience with them was an absolute nightmare. I received an email from UPS asking for an EORI or tax code, i contacted Maison Flaneur to say I don't have these. They'd write me two replies, one saying we're looking into this and the other, from the same person, within minutes would say 'You need to provide a TAX or EORI code' as though they hadn't read my email properly. I'd reply saying, 'as per my last email, i don't have one, i'm the buyer not the vendor' and round we'd go again. This went on for WEEKS. In the end UPS dealt with it for me and i paid them directly and Maison Flaneur did nothing. They should have been honest and said 'you need to pay the customs charge' but they don't say on their website anything about this. I also asked to cancel the order several times - they just ignored that completely. I would give them zero stars if possible. I'm sure they will flood this with positive reviews - don't believe them. I will NEVER buy from this company again.

Order placed on 12th April and as of 7th May it still hasn’t even been processed.

To be fair, they do respond to emails, however every response is the same standard line saying they’ve “emailed the team and are waiting for a response”, with no actual update or resolution provided.

I have now requested cancellation of the order and a refund, and I’m still getting nowhere.

Their website says they are a “small & human size company”, but unfortunately the customer service experience has been anything but personal or helpful.

Really disappointing experience and I won’t be using this company again.

Very disappointed in my experience so far. I've requested to make an edit to an order, and their customer service team has been trying to locate the item for over a week.

Very little response from the team. Saddened as I was looking to make future purchases from the site until this experience.

If I could give less than one star, I would. We ordered an item however the waiting time transpired to be over a month, so we decided to cancel the order. We emailed the team and they processed our cancellation. However, we did not receive the refund and then over a month and a half ago after our cancellation was processed the item was delivered to us. Despite me having email chains showing that the team cancelled our order, they are refusing any responsibility and expecting us to deliver the item back to them, including paying for it. I have emailed their customer service team and only received frankly patronising replies from Jess.

Ordered two items and, almost two weeks on, there’s still no dispatch or delivery. Customer service has been completely unresponsive.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Returned the hanging rail, they said they had received it and processed my refund. Complete and utter liars they hadn’t. Hey also refused to refund the original postage which they are legally required to do as I returned the order in full and paid for the return. Even when they were presented with evidence from government website. NEVER BUY FROM THUS COMPANY. I successfully got my money returned in full by PayPal.

Waited three months for picture frames. Still waiting. No contact number and email representatives are useless. I would avoid like the plague. Pay 20% more and actually receive your items.

I received the wrong lampshades several months ago. I’ve written countless emails, but they keep stringing me along and don’t get back to me. That’s just not okay. I can’t recommend them.

Maison Flaneur carries beautiful products and I even found a quilt that was sold out everywhere but here. Love the mix of vintage and newer styles.

Picked up a fabulous salt and pepper set to bring some colour to my dinning table. They were quick to dispatch and the support team was very helpful when I realised I accidentally only ordered the pepper grinder to start!
