PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE!

THE GOODS ARE NOT PREMIUM AND THE FLOWERS WILL BE DELIVERED DEAD.

The company will sell you a cheap cake from another store for an inflated fee.

If I could give them a 1/4 stars I will.

First and foremost the cake: the almond fudge cake I ordered did not look like an anything from the original photo on their website page, and not to even talk about how there was NO almonds on my actual cake, can you imagine??

It’s one thing to be late for delivery a day past the actual delivery date at least get the cake right, right ?? No they did not smh*

Two serious complaints which every person ordering anything online of Makemygift should be aware about:
1. The perfume ordered for my son’s birthday was not delivered as agreed despite charging extra delivery charge to ensure the product is delivered on the 8th September morning between 8 am and 11 am. Instead this was delivered on 15th September after 7 days. If I was told at the time of ordering the perfume would take 1 week instead of confirming delivery on the 8th and charging me extra delivery cost, I would have used other online portals where the perfume is available at 40% cost and delivery is mentioned 7 days. This is Makemygift first deception.
2. There are no product specifications and size clarity when order is placed. A serious misleading & deceptive gap on Makemygift online portal. I was charged a whopping Can$ 229 (two hundred and twenty nine) only to find out later when the bottle was delivered to my son that it is the smallest 60 ml bottle of EDT (not even a perfume!). To bring matter in perspective, the 60 Ml EDT is available on Fragrance Canada online portal for as less as Can$ 109 (one hundred and nine). Even the largest 200 ml EDT is Can$ 188 for you to check. This is shocking, very deceptive & fraudulent of Makemygift.
Despite my repeated emails to Sales team at Makemygift they have not bothered to reply to my emails. Extremely unprofessional and painful to deal with such companies. The regulatory authorities should suspend Makemygift online ordering portal license until the management can sort out recurring consumer complaints, remove the deceptive and fraudulent anomalies on the online portal and more importantly correct the deplorable sales team attitude of not responding to a customer complaint and resolving such issues amicably to gain trust and confidence!

I ordered an expensive birthday cake and a birthday card

At the end they bring a. Cake like around $10 instead of $245 cake

OMG! Where do I begin. I paid $79.00 to have a truffle decadent chocolate cake delivered with a birthday topper (which I paid extra for). Today a WALMART cake was left in a bag on my porch. A cheap $12.00 cake, white cake with that gross cheap white frosting with Happy Birthday piped on it!!! And the person that texted that it was left says they delivered what I ordered. Don't order from this company as the provide NO CONTACT information other than an email address. And we all know how that goes.

The worst experience ever. I had placed an order from the UK. I wanted to surprise my sister in the US. I paid for express delivery and what she received was totally different from what I had ordered. They Charles about £102 for a cake. They delivered a totally different product. This is a scam.

I am extremely disappointed with the service today. This delivery was very important for me because it was for my mother’s 78th birthday. I provided all the information clearly, including the hotel address, her name, and my phone number in Argentina.
The instructions were simple: the package should have been left at the front desk for her. I was waiting the entire day to receive a picture of her receiving her birthday present, and it never happened.
This was a very meaningful surprise for me, since I could not be there in person. I trusted your service to make me feel close to my mom on her special day, and unfortunately I feel very let down.

I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday, and this company was a complete disaster. I paid for four items, and only the cake arrived, completely different from the one pictured on their website. They couldn't even send the card with a message I wrote. The cake, which was supposed to arrive at 11 a.m. with the other items, arrived hours and hours later. They are incredibly disrespectful to the customer. I never recommend this company, and I hope they pay for their disrespect. Don't buy anything from these people; they ruin special occasions.

They are scamming people and they blame the customers for not making the delivery!! Terrible people I’m gonna report them

This is a terrible company! I wish I read the reviews before ordering through them.
I ordered a cake and flowers to be delivered for my sister's bday on 1st Sept with detailed contact info. They didn't deliver until 2nd Sept. Didn't respond to my numerous mails and never apologized!
Awful customer service and complete scam!
I will report them to the customer protection service in Canada, so others don't fall in their trap. This business should be closed.

Order I paid for a birthday cake with delivery on 15 August. The cake was never delivered.
The company refused to refund me and kept blaming me instead. Very unprofessional.
Warning to others: avoid this website, they do not deliver what you pay for.

If there will be a negative star I would choose that. I ordered this morning August 9, and was so excited to get it today and when I came home I found a cheap ass cake sitting outside my front door with some missing items. I went back to the website to contact them and all they have is an email address which I don’t know how long will it take for them to response, I spent over $90 for everything and I could received was a cheap cake that I didn’t even order to begin with. I wish I can post a pictures of that cake

Absolute scam. Don't order from them! I ordered a cake for almost $100 and they sent me a cheap cake from Metro supermarket which costs around $40.

All the reviews here are exactly right. This is a scam. They should be reported to the authorities.

I ordered a cake from the site for a birthday present. First, the cake that finally arrived from Metro was not what I ordered, but a completely different random cake! Even with a different flavor! Second, along with the cake, I paid for a topper and a card. I also ordered a congratulatory card, none of which were sent! In fact, I paid for something that was not sent at all, and this is theft! No response was given to the protest email!

Scam-like behavior – avoid this seller
I paid $79.72 for a cake (with topper and express delivery), based on what was shown on the seller’s website. What arrived was a cheap supermarket chocolate cake left in a plastic bag at the door — with a $16.98 receipt inside!
This was not the item I selected, and it looked nothing like the advertised product. Delivery was also late and careless.
After this happened, I found multiple reviews from others with similar experiences — this is clearly a pattern, not a one-time mistake.
Do not trust this seller. The website is misleading and feels like a scam. Save your money and avoid the frustration.

I ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday with a birthday note. They have sent a completely different,cheap,basic cake instead of the Red velvet I ordered. I’ve sent two emails so far but they didn’t even have a courtesy to send an email with an apology. I wouldn’t order anything from them again as it seems they doesn’t care about customers. I see similar experiences by looking at the reviews just in this month !

I had an awful experience with them. The advertising is misleading. I ordered a cake from them recently according to the picture was shown on their website and received something totally looking different. In their website noted that the picture and the actual cake might differ slightly. But what I’ve got was a cake made by a chid , not even an adult. The size was way smaller than it showed on the picture . I was not satisfied with it at all. Don’t get fool by the picture presented in their website. I’m not ordering from them again and you don’t too please…

I had a very disappointing experience with MakeMyGift. The cake I received looked nothing like the one shown on the website — the fondant was messy, the white chocolate finish was missing, and worst of all, the birthday person’s name was left off the cake.

At first, their response was dismissive, claiming I got “the best cake possible,” which added to the frustration. Only after further follow-up did I receive an apology — but by then, the damage to the occasion was already done.

I appreciate the eventual apology, but this experience showed a serious lack of quality control and customer care. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Cake arrived different from what ordered, paid a total of 120.25$. Not worth your money at all. I already paid for cake topper and gift card but they not put inside, the candles that i oder totally different, the cake i check on supermarket just 14.99$, but they sell 78$ for this cake expired it was terrible. The cake look awful 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮Very disappointing!!
