I ordered a $58 birthday cake and received a $15 grocery store cake. I should have read the reviews before placing my order, seems this site isn't trust worthy. I could have and should have went and bought one and saved myself $60 or so dollars with shipping.

We ordered a birthday cake to be delivered on Dec 25. We received a home make tacky cake Dec 24, not decorated, not in a box. They don't have a phone number. I wrote emails and chats no one responded.
The delivery lady, did not know who the cake was from, or to. No labels on the plastic cake cover.

Zero stars - a scam. I live outside of Canada and ordered the Brownie Chocolate Cheesecake as a gift to someone in Vancouver, BC. On the website, they use the description "our handmade brownies" and it sounds lovely. The cake that was delivered was 1) wrong flavour, 2) a well-known frozen grocery store brand, 3) did not include the gift note and the delivery driver was not able to tell my recipient who it was from. Not a big leap to guess that this company just charges massive markups to then order a local door dash to pick up an item and make the delivery. Product description is misleading to the point that this is a scam company.

Today is my birthday! My husband ordered me a “everything chocolate cake” from makemygift.ca for $79. What arrived you may ask? A generic chocolate birthday cake from Zehrs. How do we know it’s Zehrs, the sticker on the box that was delivered to the house was the sticker from Zehrs. The only thing they did was black out the price on the label. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We have disputed the charge with the credit card company.

I ordered “everything chocolate cake” that looks at the makemygift.ca site like a very rich 5 layers cake with different creams, layers of different color chocolates and tort. Instead a simple tort chocolate cake arrived with no layers no cream and that looks very different from the picture at the internet site. I complained to the sales department and received the ridiculous answer that this is the “exact same cake”. I wish I could attach to this review the pictures of the cake at the site and the one that was delivered- they are not even similar.

Very very bad experience from this website. I ordered a cake and they charged me 72$ for it and they bought the cheap cake from a drug store and delivered to the recipient
I also ordered a cake topper which was missing plus I asked them to write on the cake which they didn’t
Please don’t buy from them

I am reaching out regarding order #MMG10806 (November 7th) I have placed an order for white chocolate Raspberry cake to be delivered to my Son's address(see order confirmation in forwarded email). However, they received a cheap chocolate cake instead. price is big difference with which i have ordered.
The cake was intended for a important celebration, and they were disappointed not to receive the item we ordered.
We have sent many emails to them. They haven't reply to us. Ridiculous.

SCAMMERS!!!!

They literally delivered a random cake from a supermarket. After emailing them, the customer service representative not only denied that the cake was from a supermarket but also responded rudely, refusing to issue a full refund and insisting on charging for delivery because they delivered the so-called ‘cake’ they claimed to have baked.

The cake I received literally had a label from a brand that this specific supermarket sells. On top of that, they failed to include the note and cake topper I requested.

They are scammers! Never trust them. I can’t understand how they haven’t been shut down yet. Even the delivery bag belonged to the supermarket!

I wish I could give -5 stars

Please make yourself a favor do not order from this website.
They sent whatever they want , and chang your order without consulting with you.
I sent and email they responded in a very unprofessional way and now they stop responding

0 stars if I could. Charged my husband $95 for a cake and it was a $20 cake from albertson !! Came in the Albertsons box and everything ! Literally said $20 on it. On top of that it was the driest cake I’ve had in my life. If they’re gonna scam me they could have at least given a moist cake but SCAM SCAM SCAM

Scammers. Do not buy from this company. Unprofessional, overpriced , untrustworthy and just horrible.

DO NOT BUY from this company it's a scam. My uncle ordered a 3 layered chocolate fudge cake with a cake topper and a card and what I received was nothing close to what he purchased. The cake was not 3 layered and the design was COMPLETELY different from the picture indicated online. I did NOT get a card and my cake had NO cake topper which obviously he had paid for. Instead of the $2 cake topper, I got a handwritten "happy birthday" on the box ! Unbelievable. He paid around $95 CAD for something he did not order.

Scammer please beware. I ordered a month prior to the delivery date. Then on the morning of when it’s supposed to be delivered, I received an email saying my order was cancelled. No reasoning whatsoever. I tried to reach out to customer service but I never received any response. This move was obviously a scammer’s method.

This is a very horrible service, I spent $168 only for them send a watery cake, I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone, poor service delivery, and a joke.

I paid more than 100 CAD for a cake that looked so nice on the website... Ended up with a cake that looked like it had been made by a 3 year old. This website is a pure scam

You Guys are the most horrible online cake flower service I have ever encountered in my life. The cake and flowers were delivered at the selling address even after correcting they multiple times over the email. The flowers were all dead and the cake melted. It is also a $10 cake from Walmart that you charged me $167 for. I know because the tag is still intact on top. The whole cake was a melted puddle of brown goop. Horrible Horrible service.
If you had any shame, you would give me my money back.
