This has been an absolute nightmare
This has been an absolute nightmare. I have bee trying to resolve the same issue since 2014. I went back and forth with tech support for literally years before I gave up and wrote a review on my experience and the HUGE waste of time and money the equaled my manatal experience. All of the sudden after being put off by customer support for so long, they contacted me and asked how they could solve my problem, put me in touch with the product team , etc. then they told me it was all resolved. it wasnt. rinse and repeat this went on for months. we finally got the issue fixed after two years and way too many iterations where I am told it is fixed, pay another month, go back in and then it doesn't work again. rinse and repeat again! they asked for access to my account to troubleshoot and they spent the next few months working on the problem and then told me it was working - little did i know I was still being charged for all these months. When i tried to address the issue with them, I was given the run around, sent to different departments, who ALL in the end just went silent on me. I was contacted by someone on their team regarding my review and they kept offering me a free month or two to take it down. its $19 a month.... then they upped it to three. when I told them how insulted I was and was not only not going to take it down, I would update and post my reviews everywhere I could think of, they asked for more time to look into the matter... that was over two weeks ago - i followed up today and was asked to give them more time to look into the matter... when i said no way, someone jumped in and asked for my background on my situation (instead of looking at my past info) I am supposed to take more time to see if anyone in that company cares or wants to help????? so done with them - bottom line - Its supposed to be an easy system, post jobs, review candidates - that does not connect when you spent 75% of you membership not being able to post jobs because your system auto populated the united states as a location and then the job boards do not accept it - its maddening to keep being told to repeatedly fix something you never added in the first place - Don't do it - dont waste your time or money like i did
Great inbox system and their support team listens
Before Manatal, my inbox was an absolute disaster. Trying to remember which candidate said what and manually logging notes into our old system was a nightmare. Setting up the email sync was a total game-changer. Every single conversation just automatically tracks right onto the candidate's profile, so the whole team knows exactly where we stand without having to constantly ask me. The mass email feature is also amazing for quickly reaching out to our existing talent pools when a new role opens up. And honestly, a major shoutout to their customer support team. Whenever I need help, they are fast, friendly, and mostly effective.

Initially it worked fine for another company, but when I joined with my legally registered company looking for prospects, they failed to deliver the service I paid for and were sending an email that they will not post job posts as to regulations of other job sites. I read t&c and job posts t&c were fullfilled but they state : Our Trust and Safety team has recently conducted a review of the jobs you submitted via free job boards. Based on this review, your published jobs do not meet our compliance requirements. As a result, your job postings are no longer distributed to our partner job boards. Please note that, for security and integrity reasons, we’re not able to share further details about this decision. - Read the last sentence!!!! They take your money and don't provide service nor are they willing to provide refund. - Hands away from this platform.
A robust and modern ATS
I’ve been using Manatal for over two years now, and my favorite thing is that they actually keep roling out. Most recently those new features where a bunch of AI tools like automated interviews that really help free some of my time. The interface gets the job done. Hooking up my email means I can see all candidate chats right in their profile, which is a must for staying organized. Just a really solid platform all around.
Being scammed by Manatal
Manatal has been scamming me since September. Like many others, I signed up because I needed to post job offers on job boards and I paid for a subscription. Right after that, Manatal asked for documents to verify my identity. I submitted everything they requested and they told me it wasn’t enough.
When I asked to cancel the subscription and get a refund for the month I had already paid, they told me it was impossible and supposedly written in the terms and conditions. I sent additional documents two days later. This is where things get unbelievable.
Manatal never replied to me again. Not once. Yet they keep trying to charge my card every single day, for a tool I have never been able to use. They even blocked my access to the customer area so I cannot cancel the subscription myself. I have paid for a service I never had access to from day one.
Last week I contacted them again to request a refund for the month I paid and could not use, and to demand that they immediately stop attempting to charge my card. They finally replied, very slowly as if to wear me down, and told me that I needed to pay two months first in order to unlock my account. Only then would they “review” the additional documents I had already sent back in September.
This situation is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone to stay away from this dishonest ATS and I fully intend to share my experience as widely as possible so others don’t fall into the same trap.

I should have read the reviews before using them. The idea is great, $20 bucks to post your jobs on a bunch of job boards. What they don't tell you is that their system and platform is extremely flawed, nothing really works the way it should and when you ask for support, you are given the run around, asked to go in and do things that just do not make sense, like a repeated issue was that you add the location, it says, united states and the system reads and puts USA and then the job board does not read it and says to fix the error. However, when you go to fix the error, there isn't one. They said to go on and just redo it anyway. Didn't work, I sent a video. They said unpublish it, and then repost it, didn't work, sent a video. they said, to go in and change something, didn't work, sent a video. this has been repeated process for a very long time - now they want me to go in and reconfigure each job and each job board manually and it didn't work. I asked them to do it for me as I do not get paid to troubleshoot their platform and I hadn't been able to post any jobs yet. Their solution is for me to go in and do it again and send them another video so that they can escalate it. do not waste your time and energy as i did - i went back and forth for days at a time and wasted many months and $

Thanks for your hard work
Manatal have worked hard with various initiatives lately for our business and committed resource to do this, we ae very grateful . We did have an issue with an SMS service however it turns out with was the supply chain and not Manatal, Nevertheless they were relentless in pursuing a solution and fluid with communication, thank you
No point in the free trial
No value or reason to have a free trial, you can only publish jobs in the paid version. You can just preview the dashboard. I would have expected a free trail to actually let you experience the service.

Horrendous customer service & platform
Horrendous customer service. Terriable UX/UI you cannot find anything and the platform doesn't integrate into much at all. This is useless and a total waste of money.

"I’d ask for a refund, but I’m pretty sure your ‘support team’ would take 24 hours to process ‘yes’ or ‘no.’
Paid for this dumpster fire of an ATS, only to be gaslit by your ‘support’—who apparently think 24 hours is a mystical, flexible concept, like their competence. A week later, and the only thing you’ve verified is that you’re running a glorified Ponzi scheme where recruiters pay YOU to waste their own time.
Oh, but ‘we’re protecting our customers!’ From what? The recruiters who literally built your database? The ones paying you to exist? Or from the sheer embarrassment of realizing your ‘verification process’ is just a screensaver with ‘loading…’ on loop?
Here’s a free business tip: If your entire security protocol moves slower than a DMV employee on Xanax, maybe—just maybe—you’re the problem. Either fix your joke of a system or admit you’re just a money-sucking bot with a ‘contact support’ placebo button."

Manatal has changed for the WORSE
I've been a customer since May 2023, and while I appreciate the new features that have been added, some of the simple, everyday functions have become more of a hassle. I used to recommend this ATS for its affordability and competitive features, but recent changes have made basic tasks more cumbersome.
For example, it previously auto-posted jobs to free job boards when enabled—now, you have to manually select each one. Resume parsing used to recognize multiple attachments in an email, but now it only picks up one. These may seem like small issues, but at scale, they slow down workflows and add unnecessary steps to the process.

Wanted to try it but the client contact team couldn't give satisfactory answers to my questions and seemed evasive when asked for specific information. The experience was so bad that I didn't go ahead.

The job boards feature doesn´t work AT ALL. You are supposed to be able to post your jobs of many different job boards but this isn´t true. They don´t get post even on Google jobs.

Roach Motel
This service is the definition of a ROACH MOTEL.
I used the free trial to accept applications on an open position. Then, when ready, paid the subscription fee to communicate with applicants. That was FOUR days ago. I still cannot communicate with applicants.
The company has my money. The company is now demanding gobs of personal information from me to move forward. And the service has NO EXPORT FACILITY so I can't take the candidates out and start somewhere else.
Stay away.
UPDATE: note that the company responded four months after this complaint with an unhelpful and untruthful response.

Don't work with this Company!
We work with this company for almost 2 years and conducted our account professionally. Then without any written advise or email notification Manatal unverified our account without explanation.
I attempted to reach out to their customer support for almost a week & only ever got that the security team is looking into the matter & would get back to me.
Finally after advising Manatal that if I did not get a reply I would close out account we received a reply advising that our account would not be verified & that they were not able to disclose the reason for this decision!
I believe this to be a very poor way to treat any client especially one that has worked with the company for 2 years & will ensure that I advise all my corporate clients to not work with Manatal.

Froze my account and kept charging
They charged my account multiple times in a month for no good reason.
They locked me out of my account and kept charging me the subscription claiming that I should have went in to cancel my subscription when it was impossible to do so because it was locked out.
Then to add insult to injury, instead of dealing with such a clear case in a simple manner and refunding me money they prolonged the resolution of it to take almost 3 weeks claiming that they had to speak to upper management. Only after they charged me yet again did they magically resolve the issue they created. Now they are refusing to refund me the last payment they took out of my account unauthorized. These are highly illegal businesses practices.
What a disgusting and disgraceful way to deal with customers.

Very bad services
Very bad services , they just blocked my account without any information neither they have answer to this again. Seems fake platform . We are the company based in US & just tried to open one account with them after a long 1 week wait they said your account is not verified . They dont even know WHY it is not verified . They charged us before doing making it not verified. Can someone here reply whats wrong with them as we have sent several emails to them but no reply till yet. Much abusive services.
