No after sales care at all
As is probably the case with the majority of car dealerships, they are the most helpful people in the world until you've paid, and then everything that has been promised seems to be forgotten. I was promised a letter from MG via Mangoletsi to confirm the full warranty of the car I bought was still valid. Several phone calls and emails later, I've had no letter and emails and messages that were beong answered straight away before buying a vehicle would have been answered in minutes ate now not beong answered at all. If this is not resolved next week I will be returning the car as it was not sold as advertised. Very disappointing but, like I say is probably true of a lot of used car dealerships. So only use if you're happy with a good service that instantly dissapears once you've bought your car!
Once they have your money you can forget any customer service
Bought a car in February, still don't have a V5 in my name. First they say they did it online, then they say they did it by post but DVLA has no record of it. I have taken action myself to resolve this, as emails and calls to the dealership are not returned. Service light was not reset before purchase, so that entailed a 60 mile journey back to the dealership. Fob needed a new battery which they said would be replaced before pick up - guess what, I resolved it myself. And just for good measure - I ordered a part for them to fit, an upgrade on what I have now so spending more money with them. Talked it through with them, they understood what I wanted - went to get it fitted by them and they had ordered exactly what I have at the moment. They charged my card for the part, then ostensibly refunded the money but it's not been refunded to my account and no payment is showing as pending (this review is written 5 days after the debacle at the dealership). The After Sales manager was hell bent on blaming the Sales team and just repeated that none of this was her fault, rather than taking steps to resolve the issues. Regretting going to Mangoletsi. Once they have your money then you can forget any semblance of customer service. Buying a car is a rare event for me, and the lack of customer service has taken the shine off it. Some of these issues are minor/easily fixed but some have wasted my time, annoying when all you just want to enjoy your new car.

Fantastic customer service from Euan at Mangoletsi. From start to finish, this has been first class. Euan was friendly, honest and very professional and the vehicle was immaculate. Having used many other dealerships in the past, this is an excellent company to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Brought a car with a warranty that they say covers everything. 3 things went wrong with the car turbo egr valve and a sensor. All within 15 months of purchasing. Warranty covered nothing waste of money. Would never purchase anything from these again
MG3 hybrid purchase.
I purchased a used MG3 hybrid. After driving the car for 3 weeks and with a few minor faults I decided the car wasn't for me. Mangoletsi provided me with a full, no quibble refund. The sales person Mike Hulse was very helpful, honest and professional. He even gave me a lift to the train station from the dealership. What more could you ask for. I've no complaints whatsoever and would recommend their service.

Tried to use twice and have let me down both times. I understand that things don’t always go to plan but their service comes across as incompetent. Has cost them over £50000 from me alone. Will never even entertain using them again for sales or service.

Warning do not buy from Mangoletsi, the sales people lie to you about the car you are buying, the after sales is shocking, I was charged for warranty covered issues! my emails ignored! my phone calls not returned! refunds promised then not delivered! Over 2 years dealing with this shambles I will never return. I have evidence of all of the above plus loads more (too much to mention here) if they reply to this review it will probably be more lies.

Minus 5 stars total lack of trust and feel extremely disappointed and let down by the service manager.

I sold my Alfa Romeo back to Mangoletsi after over three years trouble free and very enjoyable motoring. I was offered a good price and the whole experience was very straight forward. Many thanks to John R for his excellent customer service throughout the transaction. Completely recommended.
Staff polite
Staff polite, cars clean, clear info on price and finance, admin work completed quickly, what more can I say. Offering extra products could be seen as a catch but they are there if you require them. Would use again
Purchase of my MG4 was without issue…
Purchase of my MG4 was without issue but the subsequent repair required (which has not been fixed) has left a lot to be desired and they have broken my dashcam. I have complained but they just don't seem to care. I would avoid this dealership. They are in the middle of nowhere and charge £40 if you use their complimentary car too. Really poor service from them, such a shame.
Terrible customer service
Took my car in for a repair which took one week. Picked it up to find it wasn’t fixed after paying £1000. Told to bring it back to have it rectified. Car bought back and fixed after two days. Wife picked up the car and discovered paint damage to the front bonnet. Asked for repair after review of cctv footage of workshop. Managers response was it was our fault for not flagging the scratch prior to picking up the car. Complained again that this was definitely 100% not there on drop off and damage is exact to repair of bumper. This is not a honest or good way to deal with customers. They pride themselves on being a family run dealership with core values but leave the customer service at the door. Very disappointed and very upset about the damage. The least they could have done is review the cctv footage in the workshop but they didn’t because the damage would have been evident. It’s dishonest and it’s not good business.
Just purchased a new MG ZS Hybrid
Just purchased a new MG ZS Hybrid, l dealt with Joe and couldn’t be more satisfied with the way he handled the deal. I’ve read other reviews and probably sometimes things don’t go as well as we would have expected but l have to say l was treated with respect throughout. I would definitely recommend this dealership based on the way l was treated
No paintwork warranty
Six weeks or so after buying a Giulia, the clear-coat came off the front bumper and bonnet during the car's first wash (with a sponge). Mangoletsi say that because it survived being pressure-washed by them, it is nothing to do with them and that they don't cover paintwork under warranty. No theory presented as to what might have happened for the clear-coat to become friable between then and now.
Cowboys
Purchased my car Mercedes GLC 300 from these Cowboys on 15th January, cost me a pretty penny or two, the car wasn’t up to scratch on collection, no attention given to detail , dirty windows inside , carpets dirty, aluminium window trim stained, engine bay filthy and I’ve just recently found a boot edge dent. The key was missing to the wheel lock nuts as well. Found out these issues once home after a couple of days of checking more closely. No preparation, checking or attention to detail was given to my car, if I hadn’t already sold my other car and got a train from chester to pick it up I would have asked for my money back however I have now resolved the issues my self at my own cost. The after sales manager Martin Scott is a complete waste of space, sent him my complaints and he didn’t follow up his words to resolve my issues, totally fobbed me off and didn’t reply to my telephone calls. The team appear to like sending you on a runaround. Avoid this salesroom, they are just a bunch of clowns who like to take your money and not provide you with any after sales care. The owner would be advised to really check up and scrutinise his employees as they are giving his business a really bad name, he probably hasn’t read all the other reviews or has he? Guess we’ll never know. How do they sleep at night? Please look elsewhere for your next car! Very disgruntled customer!!
