Mariner Finance, LLC (“Mariner”) and/or WebBank, as applicable, (collectively “Lender,” “we,” or “us,” as applicable) offers personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with minimum and maximum amounts dependent on the underwriting of the loan and subject to applicant’s satisfaction of eligibility requirements and approval by Lender, and an applicant’s state of residence for Mariner-originated loans. Terms and conditions apply.
†Online loans between $1,500 and $14,000, originated by WebBank, except online loans in CA and MD originated by Mariner Finance, LLC. Loans greater than $14,000 or less than $1,500 may be originated by Mariner through Mariner’s branch network. Any stated APR represents the cost of credit as an estimated yearly rate, and each applicant’s specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under federal or state law (as applicable) based upon loan amount, term, the applicant’s ability to meet specific credit criteria including, but not limited to, credit history at the time of application, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral, and state of residency for Mariner-originated loans. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Any loan by phone and/or online closing process requires a compatible mobile or computer device on which you can access your email and electronic documents. Not all loan types are eligible for loan by phone or online loan closing.
*The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.
**Mariner Finance’s 15-Day Satisfaction Guarantee provides that if, for any reason, you inform us that you are dissatisfied with your loan and you repay it in full within 15 days of the date of the loan in the form of cash or certified funds, all finance charges will be waived with no penalties. A cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan will not impact, affect, and/or cancel the terms of any purchase of a vehicle or other item(s) with the proceeds of your loan. Additionally, your return to the dealer or seller of any vehicle or other item(s) purchased with your loan proceeds will not constitute a cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan.

I tried to log in with saved data to…
I tried to log in with saved data to pay my payment! I saved this data into a favorite page! It did not recognize my entry then ask for a security question answer which I gave the answer , and I know it was correct! It showed it as invalid and locked my online account, no repeat to enter another security answer, then told me to contact customer service! This online part of this company is a total joke!!

Difficult to get overpayment refunded
St Charles, MO: I paid loan off early in July 2024 and because the repayment check and my last bank autopayment credit crossed in the mail they had to refund me $625. Promised refund check and lien release within 10 days; 20 days later I called and she assured me check in the mail. Not true. 30 days later, no refund so I called and ended up going to the office to physically get my refund and lien release. Repayment avoidance and untrue statements left a bad taste. I will not use again for this reason.

Mariner Finance is the best place to consider when you are ready to apply for a loan. I have been dealing with the company for several years and have been pleased with the service throughout those years. The friendly staff will always welcome you. My agent Bengolia, was considerate and helpful. She spent time to get me the loan to fit for my situation. She is the best, her patience and persistent got me approved! I was pleasantly surprised with the results! I would recommend Mariner Finance to anyone that would qualify for a loan 😉.

Being a loyal customer for so many years , they gave me reward by dragging me to a court to pay the amount of loan I borrowed , I didn’t apply for a loan but they approved me $3500 without applying and sent me a check which I deposited because I was in badly need of money at the moment . They gave my personal info to debt collector and trying to collect debt . I was in dire financial crisis , so I sought help with debt relief program and they are negotiating. However , despite being their customer , they are treating me like this . Also , I ended up accepting resolution offer with debt relief program worse than ever as I didn’t have any other alternatives but to avoid legal trouble . Mariner finance completely ruined my financial health . They are the worst company I have ever worked . Since they handed over the loan collection to legal people , I’m helpless . I don’t think they would help in any way possible even if I contact customer service . I will write reviews like this the whole life in any possible available resources and websites I find .
