Mariner Finance, LLC (“Mariner”) and/or WebBank, as applicable, (collectively “Lender,” “we,” or “us,” as applicable) offers personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with minimum and maximum amounts dependent on the underwriting of the loan and subject to applicant’s satisfaction of eligibility requirements and approval by Lender, and an applicant’s state of residence for Mariner-originated loans. Terms and conditions apply.
†Online loans between $1,500 and $14,000, originated by WebBank, except online loans in CA and MD originated by Mariner Finance, LLC. Loans greater than $14,000 or less than $1,500 may be originated by Mariner through Mariner’s branch network. Any stated APR represents the cost of credit as an estimated yearly rate, and each applicant’s specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under federal or state law (as applicable) based upon loan amount, term, the applicant’s ability to meet specific credit criteria including, but not limited to, credit history at the time of application, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral, and state of residency for Mariner-originated loans. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Any loan by phone and/or online closing process requires a compatible mobile or computer device on which you can access your email and electronic documents. Not all loan types are eligible for loan by phone or online loan closing.
*The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.
**Mariner Finance’s 15-Day Satisfaction Guarantee provides that if, for any reason, you inform us that you are dissatisfied with your loan and you repay it in full within 15 days of the date of the loan in the form of cash or certified funds, all finance charges will be waived with no penalties. A cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan will not impact, affect, and/or cancel the terms of any purchase of a vehicle or other item(s) with the proceeds of your loan. Additionally, your return to the dealer or seller of any vehicle or other item(s) purchased with your loan proceeds will not constitute a cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan.

The executed contract (the Loan By Mail offer) clearly and prominently outlines the loan terms, finance charges, interest rate, late fee assessment, and amount of payments, for which you acknowledged and signed, confirming acceptance of the loan agreement. After review, you have submitted the same statement through different platforms, but have not contacted our Customer Relations Department regarding your concerns. We have asked a member of our Operations Management to reach out to you to discuss your concerns and any questions you may have.

The application process was easy because I knew that I was approved before even going to store so l didn't have to worry about getting there then being told my application wasn't approved. Mrs Araceli Aguilera was wonderful to work with as well she made everything easy for me to understand and she went page by page with me.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT…
This review is not based on how kind the staff seems to be. What I am about to say has nothing to do with whether or not there are nice people working there. Because they are. This company receives one star because of the deception and highway robbery at the CORPORATE level. I, too, was at rock bottom when a check showed up with my name on it. The amount was small; however, it was enough to accomplish what my need was at that time. What upset me to the fullest is learning that their interest rate was set at .68%! Which. Is FAR MORE than HALF. Had I known I’d be caught up in a snake trap, I would have simply torn it up and not bothered with it — AT. ALL. To date, which has only been two months, I paid 300.00 towards my repayment, which was far above the minimum required because it was my intent to return what I borrowed quickly. And guess what?? Only 100 went towards my loan repayment in two months. The other 200? So happy you asked! Well, THAT found its way into THEIR pockets for loaning me 2,000. Now, I am forced to pay an extremely large amount if I am going to get any paid down at .68% interest. HAVE to pay it off quicker than anticipated, so this puts me BACK in a hardship! And when I questioned the rep about why my balance barely budged, after paying well over the requested minimum, would you like to know what she said? “Didn't you read the fine print?!” Well, guess what? I was going to get another amount that day and tell my large circle how MARVELOUS of a GODSEND these people are, but I'd be lying! That FINE PRINT ensured I will NEVER do business with them again, I'm reporting it to the BBB, and I AM telling everyone I know, “DO NOT get a loan from this company, unless you can AFFORD their ‘fine print!’” My husband is a diabled Veteran, who served this country over 40 years, FAITHFULLY. And this is how our country repays us. It's just sad to rip Americans off that way. Greedy and vicious. It'll NEVER happen again, though! Better rates at the Credit Union! So I'm kicking myself for not going THERE. Because what I believed was a blessing? Turned out to be a trap. A CURSE. 🥹
