Ordered new mattress all booked got conformation email mattress dispatched for next day courier sent email to confirm delivery for a day later than mattressworld said courier told me mattressworld cancelled delivery and re booked it tried to phone mattressworld know-one answered the phones courier was great got delivery day after it should have arrived courier phoned at least 3 times to update me. Mattressworld no communication the mattress is great can't fault the product or price but mattressworld customer service sucks one week later email from them blaming courier for warehouse fire in April i ordered in July when I emailed my complaint I said I at least expected a phone call they could not even do this

Next day delivery of a mattress booked. Next day the tracking service still says that it was not dispatched. Called the company and was told that the mattress is on its way as agreed. Wasted the whole day, the tracking system still says not posted a few hours before the last hour of possible delivery. Called the company again... Nope they did NOT post it and have unilaterally changed the delivery date (of course even without bothering to tell me). Money taken, oh, but the refund will take 5 working days!!! Manure company, dung service, guano all around!

Will never use again, especially whilst they use DX as their delivery company.

Couldnt contact Mattress world....only email option and have still had no reply after 6 days.........
Sorry Mattress World but you need to review both your delivery service and consumer service.

I made a real newbie mistake by ordering from this company without reading reviews, my excuse for being such a fool is that I believe they are owned by Dunelm Group and as such expected more.

Ordered a mattress and told delivery would be next day. Nothing arrived next day and nothing from the company to explain why.

Checked the tracking number with DX Freight and it said "out for delivery", this is now two days after the order. Nothing arrived

Day 3, tried to call mattress world and delivery company, on hold to both for 30 minutes before phone line goes dead, tried 3 times, same thing happens each time.

Now i expect a mountain to climb to try and get a refund and it seems impossible to talk to anyone.

I guess we are spoilt in many ways by decent customer focused internet suppliers, this lot are not one of them.

My advice is pay a little extra for peace of mind and give this shambolic lot a miss.

I ordered a mattress with this company as they had a wide selection at reasonable prices. Stated next day delivery however once through the next available derlivery was one week later.
Received an email confirming the mattress had been dispatched and will be delivered on the due date between 7am and 8pm a text will be sent with an accurate time slot.
Waited in all day with no text so decided to call the delivery distributor to be told that the mattress was due to be delivered today however this hasn't gone out as they are awaiting stock. Once stock is received it will need to be quality checked and could take several days and to contact Mattress world.
I called them very upset and angey as I have not only waited in all day I had taken my old mattress to the tip so now have no where to sleep.
