Martin being helpful!
Martin in customer service was so helpful when he helped us to locate a food storage box, which came free with Leader Dog Food purchase, despite there being none left in the shop in Mullingar. He organised for it to be delivered to site where we picked it up. The staff are always so friendly there as well. Thank you Martin!

Going round in circles
Going round in circles with Maxi Zoo. Placed an order but they sent the wrong product - won't arrange to pick it up, I have to get a 16kg box to the post office with no car as I don't drive. Explained I would be happy to keep the product if they give me a discount - can't do that either according to customer service. So I'm stuck with a product I didn't order which they won't collect or discount. Several emails and phone calls later issue still ongoing, waiting for another person to call me back. Would not use this company again - second issue I've had with them.
Update: managed to get €21.00 refund from them. Not good enough in my opinion as the product cost €53.00 and it was their mistake but better than nothing. I won't be using them again.

We completely understand how challenging it can be to return a parcel without access to a car. For this reason, our team offered a home collection service to make the return process easier for you. While this option was available, we fully understand that it may not have been convenient for you, as DPD was unable to provide a specific collection time window.
As you preferred to keep the incorrect item and requested a refund of the price difference, we were happy to accommodate your request and initiated the credit note for the difference on the same day.
Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we will review this case internally to improve our processes and help prevent similar situations in the future.

Poor customer service/assistance
I visited the Mullingar store on Thursday morning (March 5th, approx. 9:45 am) with my two-year-old to buy a 12kg bag of dog food. Because I had my toddler with me, I asked an assistant for help carrying the heavy bag to the till.
I was disappointed that the assistant didn't mention the current promotional offer for a free food bin at any stage; I had to enquire about it myself. Once I did, I was simply pointed toward a stack of unassembled bins. The moment I paid, the assistant disappeared instantly.
I was left to struggle to the car with a 12kg bag of food, a bulky unassembled bin, and a two-year-old in tow. While I appreciated the initial help to the checkout, the lack of follow-through and the fact that I had to "find" the promotion myself made for a very stressful experience. A little extra customer care would have gone a long way.

I wanted to buy 2 boxes of (FIT+FUN…not allowed.
I wanted to buy 2 boxes of (FIT+FUN Ragout Multipack 92x100g) as I have 3 Cats and don't want to mix their feeding products. You are only allowed to purchase 1. Not enough for my situation with 3 Cats.
So have to say goodbye to MAXI ZOO IRELAND.

The reason you were only able to add one box of the FIT+FUN Ragout Multipack to your basket is that we currently had only one unit in stock at that moment.
Our stock is continuously replenished, so if you check back again shortly, you should be able to purchase multiple boxes as needed.

Staff are pigs in the Blackpool store…
Staff are pigs in the Blackpool store in Cork city. Unhelpful, abrupt and should no interest in doing their work. Gave girl at the till some change for my goods, counted it out for her but she wasn't interested and double counted it while the line behind me was getting bigger. This isn't the first time I've experienced this lack of interest. It's the only shop in tge area hope some o e else opens another so as I can spend my money there

Excellent company to deal with
I have had an excellent experience buying from Maxi Zoo in Ireland. Very fast delivery, good communication. I wish they had an app for regular customers. Otherwise, really happy. I had bad experiences with my previous pet food supplier due to their poor deliveries. Delighted with Maxi Zoo.

I wish I could review my order but it…
I wish I could review my order but it still hasn’t arrived yet. This is the second time in 3 orders that I’m waiting. I ordered something in Germany the day after I placed my order with Maxizoo which is literally no more the a 4 hour drive and I’m still waiting for my Maxizoo order but my delivery from Germany showed up. Maxizoo is definitely making it hard for me to want to spend my money with them. I mean I regularly buy my pet supplies from the as we live far from a pet store that can provide what we need, but at this rate I’m going to start having to order a month ahead just to get it when I need it. When. I used to be able to rely on the quick shipping policy and was very happy with my service, but now I find I’m having to go to the store and buy food for my pets after I already ordered them food.
