Very professional photographer (Grant) who took his time to make sure the pictures he took were perfect. Didn't rush the job but ensured the settings, the light, the rooms etc were just right to produce an outstanding portfolio and present our guest house in its best light.

Elvira and her team amongst other things, were so efficient at scheduling all our viewers. Also, they ALL had the info at their fingertips to make us feel VERY reassured. Our offer came in and was dealt with on a Saturday, when other companies would have been closed.

Hadia, in the legal team was highly professional, always on top of everything and so accomodating of all my queries.

I did consider going with an online only estate agent & solicitor but I'm extremely grateful, I found MFL as I needed the security of a well known highly regarded company, and they lived up to that reputation very well. I remember looking at reviews while considering MFL and I can agree with what most of them said - - yes, they are a bit more expensive but it shows in the service you receive.
I think they go above and beyond the others. I really liked the progress indicator page I could tap int, to see how things were going. I used this a lot.

In TOTAL the fees plus extras for LEGAL AND MARKETING worked out at around 2% of the total sale price of the property. I'm satisfied with that, especially when comparing with what people pay for marketing only in other parts of the country / world.

There were little hiccups along the way, which is to be expected when selling a house, I do believe you get what you give - so it pays to be involved and available as the client.
I am delighted with the service received.

There were a few issues during the sale but it was dealt with professionally and efficiently. On the day of moving everything went smoothly. Thank you again for a great service

Ben came to our home and was extremely confident in achieving a quick sale given the location and decor. He provided us with a valuation that we considered pretty high, however he told us of all the different sales techniques they could use to get a sale, including amending photos, pricing strategies, going to closing even when there is only 1 buyer etc. During the initial consultation he talked at length about how other estate agents will just ask you to drop the price to get a sale, where they wouldn’t and would use other techniques to achieve at least the home report value for you. Have to admit I bought the complete BS. Our experience couldn’t have been more different to that promised. After being on the market for less than a couple of weeks his advice became to drop the price by c 15%! Not sure what happened to all these other sales techniques, retaking photos etc. In the end it was clear all he cared about was getting the house away as quickly as possible at any price to get his fee. Best way to do that is to cut the house price which only hits my pocket not his. All the talk about caring about what price they would achieve for their customers was total rubbish. They cared about a quick sale at my expense. People plan their finances around what their house will sell for and rely on advice given by the so called experts. In the end had to take my house off the market (as I wasn’t willing to accept tens of thousands below HR) and pay £2k to this firm for basically doing next to nothing for us. Used a different firm for my eventual sale (at a significantly better price) and purchase and had a significantly better experience. Anecdotal however looking on ESPC all the houses in my area that are sitting for a long time unsold all seem to be marketed by this firm
