Airport transfer was easy. Car was new, but...
I was advised at time of pickup that there would be a $20 per day pet fee. I was not aware of this and didn't have much choice but to pay it.
After my trip, I searched Mega MC Rent a Car website and found no reference to a pet fee.
I sent multiple emails to two different email addresses without reply.
I think this was a bogus charge and prefer not to do business with companies like this.

The car had finger prints all over the windows and shook when it went above a certain speed on the high way. It had scratches down the side and a cracked windshield when I received it. I had a very tiny amount of gas missing from the tank (like 1/16) missing when I returned it and was charged $30.00. I wouldn’t rent here again.

It has been 2 weeks and my $350.00 deposit has not been refunded. Every time I call on this matter, I receive a busy signal. Please refund my account immediately.

Getting checked in was a very long process. It took way too long and I had to put down a deposit. I also asked if the car had apple play and they said yes. By the time I got into the car, I knew it did not, but I did not feel like wasting another hour changing cars. The vehicle was fine - the headliner was gross, but it drove well. Return was easy and quick.

Jay was great to work with. Nice new car and shuttle to/from airport was convenient.

M C made sure I got to and from my destination with no issues. Will definitely use them again

BEWARE!!!!! Mega MC car rental company is a SCAM! You think you are renting from Economy Car Rental but you are renting from Mega MC car rental. They are just using a big car company name ad reputation. You have to deal with this horrible company! You reserve a car and they don't have it! They give you a lower class car or whatever they have left on the lot that they can find the keys to. The agent, Daniel, is rude, inefficient (we were there for one hour) and LIES to you. We reserved a mid SUV (Santa Fe or Rogue or similar) and they tried to tell us that we reserved a mid size car until I showed them my reservation. They had an upgraded car on the lot but lied to us that the car was prepaid and they couldn't give it to us. When we returned our car the upgraded car was still there. No one rented it but they would not give it to us instead we had to take the smaller car (for 5 of us), a Toyota Camry. Also, he lied about needing an EZ pass tag for tolls. He told us, "there are many tolls everywhere" and it would cost us more money if we didn't rent his EZ pass tag. There was not one toll anywhere! We paid $21 for nothing and he refused to give us our money back after we called him out on his lie. We were there at 7:30PM and it was dark when we finally were given a car (8:30PM) and there was no light in the lot to look at the car for any damages. We had to use our cell phone lights to check it out and (good thing) we took pictures of the chips of paint and few scratches that we noted before we drove off. He also lied that he would send me the pictures of the car that he took. He told me that he would email me pictures and the notes that I asked him to write with the pictures listing the damages that we were getting the car with. I never got the email of the pictures and when I called the next day to tell another agent that I am still waiting for the pictures and the contract that I was asked to sign (without seeing it or receiving a copy in my hand) she said that they do not email pictures of the car to the customer and that is only for them to see. WHAT A SCAM! It's a good thing that we took our own pictures before we left the lot. The email of the contract had a link to click which did not work until she sent it as an attached PDF to my email. I have always rented cars and was always able to read the contract before I was asked to sign. Daniel asked us to sign for the car before we could read what we were signing and just told us "everything will be emailed to you". When we returned the car we took pictures and videos of the condition of the car (which was the same as when we received it) and a day later when I called AARP Travel Center to complain he tried to say that we returned the car with scratches on it and we would be receiving a bill from them for the scratches. They also took a $350 security deposit from us when we rented the car for any damages. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! No one will help you if you have trouble with them. Economy Car Company will tell you to deal with the merchant. They are not cooperative and a horrible company to deal with!!!!! Stay Away!!! Rent from a reputable company at Charlotte Airport. They are two miles away from the airport and have a dinky little lot behind an auto body shop!! This should have been a red flag! Mega MC manager was supposed to call us back but we never heard from her. They don't care about the customer and try to scam you every which way! STAY AWAY!!!

Website needs to state that we need to bring our Vehicle Insurance Card & identify where AT the Charlotte Airport do we get on which Mega Shuttle. Rainy Night got us & bags soaked @ the Mega Dark, crowded Lot & no shelter & Rude Check In Agent. Still have not received my Mega reimbursement?

I had a very good experience with Mega MC. There was an initial glitch with them not finding my reservation but they were very quick to remedy that. I loved the friendly service and quick pick-up and drop-off from and to the airport. I would recommend Mega MC as a reliable car rental option.

Fantastic service. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for the money. It does take longer to get your car than skip the counter services at the airport, but the savings is worth it if you have the time available.

Pick up and drop off was good. What would have made it the best experience would have been to get car with a lighter interior and exterior because the black really attracted the sun in 90+ degree NC days.

I had originally been booked for a midsize SUV and they gave me a compact SUV. The reservation had been booked a month in advance. Also, I was going to a wedding and the car had multiple dents, scratches, dirty seats, the license plate rattled like crazy. The hubcaps were also missing. The tire pressure monitoring light was on and I had to go to a gas station and fill the tires. Also, if you take a toll they bill you EXTRA on top of the toll. So 2 tolls turned into $30.

So overall?

- Gave me the wrong vehicle despite it being booked a month in advance
- The (wrong) car they gave me was dirty, dented, had hubcaps missing and the TPMS was on.
- They didn’t go over toll fee billing in the contract and got charged extra on top of the tolls. 2 tolls were $30.

Everyone was very nice. Just pay attention if you rent from here.

I tried Mega MC because the rates were lower. I read the reviews and took a chance, even though I'd never heard of the company. It came to my surprise that everything went smoothly, from my airport shuttle pickup to checking out. My car might have needed a little servicing, but overall it ran well. We plan on a return visit to Charlotte, and if they have cars available, I will certainly give them a call.

Great car rental prices, pretty nice folks working the office. Would have given it 5 stars but the parking lot needs more lighting and some better signage at the location would be helpful. The car was great. No hassle pick up and drop off. The location is about a mile from the airport but Mega MC has a shuttle and there was virtually no waiting for pick up and drop off.

The only small glitch was at the airport in needing better instructions on how and where to pick up the shuttle to your lot. Otherwise everything went very smoothly from pick up to drop off. The staff were friendly and professional. Not your big lot car rental but if saving some money it works.

Shuttle pickup was prompt. Briana was efficient and helpful when our flight was canceled and we needed another day of rental.

The shuttle from airport was quick to get me. The woman who helped me sign out the car was personable and easy to speak with. The car was clean and roomy - and returning the car was easy and fast. Great experience!

Everything from pick up to returning was fast and easy. No complaints.
