I would agree with some of the previous reviews. This company is a scam!!!

I paid for a concierge service that was supposed to help me customize my book. I sent the person exact instructions in an email. What I received back after a month of no response was a complete mess. I asked her to correct it and again what I received was a mess. The document she sent me had numerous typos, the fonts were different through out the text and the spacing was completely off. It took me a lot of time to correct all her mistakes. When I called to ask for credit back to my account for what I paid for the concierge service they told me I received the services I paid for but since I was not satisfied with the service they would give me $79 dollars which was 20% refund of the $395 dollars I paid for the concierge service.
I was writing this book to my kids because I have a terminal illness. When I signed up for the concierge service they promised the book would be exactly as I wanted and when they did not deliver that and I asked for my money back as credit they told me they had investigated and decided they had provided the services they were supposed to.

These people are truly sick!!! They prey on people that are vulnerable!!!

I had a horrible experience with this service. The concept is good but their customer service is so bad. I would have given them negative star review if it was available. They totally messed up my original writing, took me so long to make it right. When I contacted customer service there was no response at all.
Please please please do not get this service at all.
It was a total nightmare to deal with them. They did not offer any assistance to resolve the issue.

The customer service at Memorygram was phenomenal. I was very slow in writing my book and they gave me an extension. Kris at customer service then helped me through the closing part as I was having trouble getting the process right. Kris was always there to help and was very quick in responding to emails. The finished product is well done. If there were 10 stars to give they would get it. Nothing but praise.

Very satisfied. They are great to work with. My daughter got this for my 86 year old mother for Christmas. She enjoyed making the story. The books turned out great and the family loved them. Customer service would get a 10 if I could give it to them.

Memorygram gave my family and me a way to give encouragement to my daughter before she goes to college! We just bought it and plan to give it to her before she heads off to ASU!

Our daughter gifted me an Memorygram for Christmas. I was excited to leave this gift to my posterity! I was about half-way finished when life gave me several family challenges! These challenges caused me not to be able to finish! I thought my book would go only half finished! My daughter called the staff at Memorygram and they were not just helpful but kind and understanding! They were quick to assist us with this problem, and I am going to be able to finish my book!! On the process of writing the book, I found it to be both easy and fun! The reflections on the stories brought me many hours of happiness, something that I might not have took the time to do, if it were not for writing the book! I give Memorygram my highest recommendation. I have faith they will treat anyone with the same dignity and respect that they have given to me! I want to Thank them for this opportunity!!

The Memorygram Legacy Book is such a meaningful and well-designed way to preserve life stories and memories. The guided prompts make it incredibly easy to get started, and over time it turns into something truly special. I love how it brings together stories, photos, and even audio into one beautiful keepsake. The final book is high quality and feels like something that will be cherished for generations. It is a thoughtful gift and an amazing way to capture and celebrate a life.

The format was easy to follow and I enjoyed being able to right and then stop for awhile to think about things. It allowed me to go back and add things to the story easily. I especially enjoyed the new voice regarding auto fill part of memorygram. I am helping my 92 year old mother with her book and it has been so much easier for her to just talk and record her stories. Thanks for a great experience.

Once I purchased the books, everything went wild in our lives. Four hospitalizations and a software update that merged three books in one made for a crazy ride, but Memorygram support was wonderful. They responded quickly to emails, helped get us back on track and ensured we had time to complete the books. The suggested questions are extensive and helpful and the audio record feature is amazing for my grandmother who is not well enough to type. I have no doubt these books are going to be a treasure for years to come.

The concept is great! The construction of the application/program is excellent! I enjoyed the experience much more than i ever would have thought possible! Everybody should do this!!!

My husband purchased this amazing gift, I set up but never started the process of writing my book. I contacted customer service and they’ve been amazing in assisting me and giving me all the information I need to continue and be able to fully get all th benefits of this amazing gift.

I found Memorygram to be very responsive when i had questions or needed technical assistance. Their finished product is very nice...i am pleased. There were times i could nit get things to work right and other times i was frustrated with how they worked, e.g photo arrangements and limitations, font size, etc. But overall very pleased

First off, the website is very clunky. You can't preview it before you buy it but I chose mammogram specifically so that I could have my mom and dad both contribute to a single book, a feature I could not find on any other platform. The website itself feels like it was made in the early 2000s. When you set up a question you can't just easily change a different date for it to be sent, you can't easily see the past questions, but I was willing to deal with all of that because it was an affordable price and the book was just for me. The real kicker came when I received the final book and the cover is a blank square that says image not found. Kind of ridiculous that it wasn't just blank and that no one in the printing process caught this mistake. They called me several weeks later to ask me to send them a five star review and I told them about this mistake. They said an image was never uploaded. I told them that if an image was not uploaded, then it should not say image not found and they finish the conversation by asking me to make them a five star review. I ignored it. A month later I got an email asking for another five star review and I explained in the email why I would not give a five star review and they said that they would make it up to me. I could order the original book that I purchased, printed correctly, at a discounted price of $67. They did not offer to actually give me the correct book with the correct photo on it, but offered that I gave them another $67. Truly shocking. Am I speaking to humans or bots? I'm not sure. If you don't care about format, go for it. But if you want customer service and folks who actually will deliver what they say they will, look elsewhere

Five Star Service: The Memorygram team was always available to help with any questions I had and showed such patience with someone who took a long time to finish my book. It's beautifully bound and a treasure for my children.

It is really not that great of a service and I do not recommend them. The questions are random and there is no help in organizing. Just find prompts to download from Etsy or get the same prompts online and write your own. You do all of the work anyway. It's very easy to get something bound for much less than they charge.

This company is a SCAM! Do not give them your money. They do not provide you with the service you pay for. I strongly discourage anyone from using Memorygram.

Over the past three months, the company has repeatedly failed to deliver the subscription service I purchased for my grandfather. He regularly does not receive his scheduled weekly calls. When calls do occur, the questions are out of order in the online book, and he is prompted with questions I did not select. These are not isolated incidents — they are ongoing, recurring issues.

I have spent an unreasonable amount of time contacting customer service, following up, and escalating the matter to management. I even reached out directly to the CEO in an effort to resolve the situation. Despite multiple assurances that the problems had been corrected, they continue.

The service has not been delivered as promised, and the lack of consistent resolution demonstrates serious reliability and accountability concerns. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution or consider alternative options.

*Edited to add: On Feb. 26, I received a call from a Memorygram representative named Christopher who was aggressive, confrontational, and raised their voice at me about my feedback, including this Trustpilot review. I was shocked that, instead of attempting to resolve the ongoing service failures and lack of communication I’ve documented — or simply trying to understand my frustration from a customer’s perspective — the focus was on pressuring me about my public reviews.

Being contacted and spoken to in that manner for sharing my honest experience was completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. I remained calm and reiterated that my issues remain unresolved, but the call was unproductive.

As a result, I have blocked their number, requested cancellation of my account, and asked for no further contact. This interaction only reinforces my concerns about this company’s professionalism and customer care.
