Slim chance I'll be ordering from here again
Slim chance I'll be ordering from here again, I ordered 2/3 statues (unsure at this date) last year with pre-order dates, one for December 2021, the other 2 with dates for January 2022. It's now June. I can understand I was maybe taking a risk when purchasing pre-order items and thats on me. A quick example:
BANPRESTO One Piece World Figure Colosseum 3 Super Master Stars Piece Figure The Monkey.D.Luffy Gear 4 (Two Dimensions) 22cm. A statue I ordered, it's pre-order release date *was* December 2021 but now its february 28th 2022.
Anyways, delivery so far is running slim and I'm growing hopeless for my statues. But I understand if there is a genuine reason why pre-order dates.

We are an official BANPRESTO stockist and usually, we get products first. Unfortunately, BANDAI has experienced logistical delays, due to ongoing global situation. This has led to delays in the distribution of these goods, largely to indepent stores. This delay has then been exacerbated by a backlog of goods from other of our ranges, that has unfortunately led to further delay.
This is not typical of what you can expect from us and before the end of the year, we hope that the logistics are resolved. We would like to make it clear that these are delayed, not cancelled, and that they will be received. We are continuously receiving more stock from BANDAI, just at significantly different times than expected. This particular figure should be here this month, we hope.

Pre-ordered a booster box, it's now 6 days after release and it still hasn't been shipped out, despite the promise of "next day delivery." I had to reach out to them to understand what was going on, they didn't even have the courtesy to send me an update about the order, instead telling me about a newsletter that you have to actively sign up to recieve. This is beyond dumb, there is no disclaimer on the page warning about delays/shortages and I believe they took on too many orders without being able to fulfill them. Definitely will not be pre-ordering from them again, and I suggest others do the same. Very poor communication.

We sent out an email informing our customers that there was going to be a delay on this range. We are a small business with 2 team members working on emails - unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to send individual emails to every customer. We are unable to reach out to customers unless they permit us to do so. For that reason, this is sent through the newsletter software.
This is something we hate to see ourselves and have very rarely seen before. However, due to current issues in our supply chain, as well as the industry as a whole, we have been unable to fulfill some items in time for release. All release dates are tentative and subjective to delays (though this largely refers to figures and collectables). We really hope to be back to normal regarding new releases in the near future.
Regardless of where you choose to shop, we hope you continue to enjoy your hobby.
If you have taken time to read this, we thank you for that and hope you can understand why this has occurred.

We understood your frustration over the bank holiday weekend for the Queen's Jubilee. Unfortunately, we were not able to process the refund or reply over these dates. A member of our team told you this would be dealt with as soon as possible, which fell on the next week unfortunately, due to the bank holiday.

Had an issue with a damaged item…
Had an issue with a damaged item (factory defect) in my order, James immediately replaced it. When that one turned out to have the same defect, he gave a full refund. Great customer service, very trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to shop at Metageeks again.

Polite and quick to respond
Had to contact for updates on products as I had placed a pre-order but the team were always quick to get back to me and very polite.
One of the products I ordered was unavailable but they were very quick to issue me a refund after contacting them and they apologised that they were unable to get it and that it was not in stock.
