Terrible company. Won’t be using again
My experience with Market Financial Solutions (MFS) was extremely stressful from start to finish. I was introduced to them through a broker via Tapton Capital, who I later found out had allegedly left due to similar issues with other clients. The bridge loan I took was, in my opinion, mis-sold to me.
MFS constantly hounded me for information, sending pushy and stressful emails about repayment and my exit strategy, even though I was nowhere near the end of the term. Their communication made me so anxious that I began having panic attacks whenever they contacted me.
When I arranged a new lender to repay MFS, there was a slight delay, and they hit me with very high additional interest charges. They also tried to get me to stay with them even though I informed them I have a broker and have found a a mortgage company. Clearly wanted to keep me on so they could keep charging me high charges.
Despite giving them everything they asked for, they kept requesting more information and claimed their paperwork wasn’t complete — which felt like a tactic to drag things out and slap on more interest charges.
Overall, MFS left me feeling vulnerable and under extreme stress where I was prescribed medication to help with my panic attacks. I would never use them again and would strongly advise others to be cautious
Update: the below response is false, they did email me which basically to sum up the email was, it is what it is and nothing they can do.
Another update:
If hounding customers is “standard protocol in your company then I would definitely advise against using MFS. Even my broker who has dealt with many companies had to speak to them personally about how they approach customers, baring in mind she has dealt with many companies and none have had this approach. My advice, much better companies out there. Avoid MFS

In your above feedback, you addressed the two aspects of your complaint. As explained, your broker operates independently from us as a lender, so any concerns about the advice or service provided by them would need to be raised directly with them.
Regarding communication from our team, we follow a standard process of contacting borrowers as their loan approaches maturity to make sure any planned exit remains on track. Once you informed us that you found these emails overwhelming, we took those circumstances into account moving forward and adhered to your requested means of contact, which was telephone calls.
We also want to confirm that although your loan had gone beyond its original term, you had not been charged any default or higher penalty rates. A standard interest rate was applied during the extension of your loan, and we have supported the redemption process throughout.
Following our last email, we did not receive a further response from you, but we remain committed to assisting you. If you would like to continue the conversation or need further clarification, we are more than happy to discuss this with you directly.

Kayla was great! A lot of delays with the solicitors, but overall MFS pushed the case through (unlike with most lenders). A super complicated financial set up ironed out easily. Would use again 100%

I found the people I have dealt with…
I found the people I have dealt with very helpful,,good and timely communication, so happy to work with these people again.
The process took an inordinate amount of time( much if this down to Solicitors), but I feel that the decision making processes needs to be accelerated to match market competitors .
MFS has very attractive rates and products ,,but for many Clients the speed of the process is also an important factor

Absolute joke of a company with excessive delays and penalty fees for clients
Absolute joke of a company. We passed our client to MFS for a bridge loan which was okay. They then said they could turn the bridge into a mortgage. The reason we allowed this to happen was MFS said the bridge can be changed into a mortgage with 4 to 6 weeks. This took forever and they were charging our client fees each month of over GBP2600 for over 6 months. They would constantly request more documents to stall completion resulting in more penalty fees. Our client ended up paying over GBP15,000 in penalty fees. MFS locked us as a broker out and ended up charging our client over GBP12500 on mortgage arrangement fees. We were passed GBP1100 so any brokers take note and avoid this clown company. They make money screwing the client on penalty fees and by shafting brokers on procuration fees. As a broker i would never again put a client or worst enemy to MFS Bridging or Mortgages. Avoid at all costs from an experienced broker. If you are a client stay well away they will cost you thousands to line their own pockets.

Our records show there were several delays caused by external factors outside our control, which unfortunately extended completion. To support the borrower, we also covered legal costs and refunded the valuation fee upon completion.

Nabila and Simon were great from the outset. The deal isn't a straight forward one,with an inexperienced landlord taking on multiple units to rent. Both Simon and nabila worked with me to make the customers vision become a reality. Special mention also goes to Liza who picked up the phone to me out of hours to explain processes and help with the deal also.

Miracles do happen
This case was a bit complicated in that the buyer was also the freeholder plus a lease extention had to done simultaneously. Valuation report nearly run out due to delay cause by sellers legal team but the case handling team at MFS (Donald Idenedo & Kayla-Jade Ramlal) performed a miracle again and we completed on time
