$100 Fruit_Never Received

I purchased one "premium soursop" fruit on May 12th for $87.30 and shipping is Fedex Priority Overnight. It is now Monday May 18th and I still have not received the delivery. Customer Service has gone dark -- I emailed them and they have yet to get back to me. They funnel you to the "Shop" app for tracking, but the Shop app is absolutely awful...the statuses flip around with no real data. I emailed Miami Fruit to ask for the Fedex tracking number and that is what I am waiting for right now. God knows how this fruit is going to arrive to me given that it is has been allegedly travelling on it's way to me for almost 6 days...not knowing if the fruit is in a protective delivery vessel, not knowing if it is in a refrigerated space...etc. Definitely will never do this again. See people, this is why Amazon wins and small businesses do not. And after reading their refund policy, it seems sketchy as to whether I'll get my money back. This was a lot of money, potentially for nothing.

What an absolute ripoff

What a joke. I'm the last person to complain about prices, but this is bad to the point of being a scam. I spent over $200 on fruit for a Mother's Day gift, and when my mom sent me a photo of what arrived I thought she must have only photographed part of the delivery. Nope - it was a handful of very unimpressive looking oranges, one tiny pineapple, and a few insanely underripe mangos. Because she would never complain about a gift, it took a lot of work to extract the truth from her: that what they get at their grocery store in RURAL MINNESOTA is better than this fruit, and she also said when she opened the box she figured there must be another layer because it was so sparse. Skip this!!!

Ripped Off

We had a $45 gift certificate and wanted mandarins. We had to pay extra shipping fees. When we got the box, months later, it had one!!! mandarin in it. We had marked one down, thinking it was one dozen or one case. I can't imagine a company selling one piece of fruit for $50. What a rip-off!

Extremely Disappointed

Extremely Disappointed — Especially Given the Circumstances
I ordered over $400 worth of fruit for my 85‑year‑old, ill parent, hoping to send something fresh and comforting. Unfortunately, the order arrived in terrible condition — much of the fruit was rotten, bruised, and broken. It was completely unacceptable, especially for the price and the purpose of the gift.
I contacted the company immediately on the day the package was received to express my disappointment and request a refund, which was refused. I was shocked by the lack of accountability and customer care, especially given the condition of the product and the situation.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely upsetting. I cannot recommend this company based on the quality of the product I received and the response from customer service.

Fake Musang King Durians??

In July 2024 I ordered 2 Blackthorn and 2 Musang King durians for about $750. I received the 2 Blackthorn? durians quite promptly. They were pretty bland and I have no way to know if they were the real thing, since I've never tasted a Blackthorn before, but they weren't any better than frozen durians you get from typical Asian stores. I got no reply from Miami Fruit when I asked them about the origin of the Blackthorns.
Miami Fruit never informed me about the status of the other 2 Musang Kings in my order, until I asked, to which they said it's in the queue. Fair enough. After 2 fruiting season I finally got the Musang Kings, except that they look different. Only one has the prominent *5-pronged* star pattern on the bottom. Miami Fruit claimed that both were Musang Kings, except that one was ''picked young'' from the tree. ??? If you noticed, the one on the right ws the one WITHOUT the star pattern, young?, but has rubber bands stretched to hold the cracked husk. I'm from Malaysia, and I know they NEVER pick unriped fruit from the tree and then sold them as premium. They string nets to catch fallen tree-riped fruits and flash-freeze and then shipped overnight by air. That's is what you'd call premium products. I wonder if they were picked young that they were chemically treated??? That is typical for $20 Monthong durians, most are chemically-treated, that you can easily find in asian markets. Buyers beware. I paid huge premium for premium durians. Got only one premium Musang King with the complex taste that I was willing to pay for. Never again.

Ordered small green mangos in July…

Ordered small green mangos in July 2025. Asked them in October when these would ship? They tell me the mango season is spring / summer (like July, when I ordered!) and to now expect them spring / summer 2026. And it's $10 cancellation fee if I don't want to wait.

I cannot recommend this company because…

I cannot recommend this company because they are a scam. They sell you a small box and literally give you one banana two key limes. The cacao was the only thing in there that was good dragon fruit, which I can buy any supermarket. It’s a very disappointing box and not worth the money nothing was sweet except the cacao.

I have to give only 4 stars because I…

I have to give only 4 stars because I got my refund with no problems. My refund was understandable and fast. The funds went back into my account fairly quick. I ordered a large box of java bananas. In the original order it did state that it can take awhile to ship and first come first serve. I bought them anyways. Almost 2 months passed and I thought...how long is...how long???? 🤔 I contacted customer service and they responded in a day or two? They said, it can take 3 years or longer. They are behind on shipments from 2021 and it's now 2025. The hurricane has created a negative impact. I was given 3 options. 1) wait 2) store credit 3) refund with a $10 cancelation fee. I said, I will take the $10 cancel fee/refund my money choice. That was it for my experience. So, purchase on your own risk or decision. I thought in 3 years or longer I might move away or I could be dead. Not for me.

Crazily expensive

The fruit is good, but so expensive, crazily expensive. Just compare the prices with Jurassic fruit, which has the same quality..
For example:
Mangosteen on Miami fruit: 177$ for 1.3kg
Mangosteen on Jurassic fruit: less than 20$ per kilo…
Keep in mind it’s even less at local markets, not to talk about Indonesia (about 50 cents per kilo)..
