Being lactose intolerant used to mean giving up milk, dairy foods and the important nutrients, minerals and vitamins they provide. The Milkaid range of products contain lactase enzyme, a safe natural enzyme that is usually found in the digestive system. It works by breaking down the complex milk sugar lactose, into two more easily digestible sugars – glucose and galactose. Lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose. You can now enjoy milk and dairy foods again, without upset.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by an issue with your recent purchase of Milkaid Tablets. We aim to ensure that all our customers are satisfied with our products.
The Milkaid range has undergone a new and improved formulation because of customer feedback on the taste of our products. While being an extremely popular product with our customers we had received feedback that the taste of the tablets was too sweet, particularly if taken before a savoury meal. We value all customer feedback and wanted to address this issue in order to improve the customer experience.
Our products still come in the signature Raspberry (Milkaid Tablet) and Strawberry (Milkaid Junior) flavours. Whilst there will not be noticeable differences to the size, colour or shape of the tablet, consumers may notice an improvement to the taste and sweetness level of the tablet.
There are no changes to the nutritional information, and still remains as Lactase Enzyme 3000 ALU per tablet. Our tablets are also dairy free and suitable for vegans.
I have forwarded your complaint to our commercial team as well as our QA Technical Manager, for review and consideration. We really value you taking the time to contact us and we will certainly take your feedback on board.

New improved flavour, still 10/10 efficacy.
The new formula of these little miracle workers is definitely a step in right direction. Still slightly odd taste, but nothing as intense as the old tablets.
I tried at least two other brands and came back to these, even with the questionable taste. They are the most effective lactase tablets for me. Takes a bit of trial and error working out how many for how much dairy, but once that is sorted they are a winner.

Don't fix what isn't broken!
I've used these tablets for years ever since Holland & Barrett stopped making theirs. I've never had any issues with these until now. I've no idea why they've changed the formula. It states on their website you won't notice any difference in the size of them, well I noticed they felt different as soon as I took one out the tub. The taste of them is awful too. You got used to the raspberry of the last ones as it was fairly subtle but not anymore. They are vile. I've never actually understood why you'd make them taste sweet anyway, not what you want before eating savoury foods!
Back to the drawing board for finding another product to use.

I ordered direct from Milkaid. Nothing arrived - I got the questionnaire about how happy I am, so I looked to find an email on the milked website (not obvious) - but asked, nothing arrived - I got this reminder to fill out the questionnaire and based on paying £s, receiving nothing and not getting a reply I can't rate Milkaid very highly!

New Formula is Worse
We have used these for years and they were great, had them on a subscription. They recently changed the formula and it's like eating chalk now. My partner also feels they don't work well for her anymore.

New formula
These tablets used to be great. They have recently changed the formula and they now taste absolutely disgusting. I am now completely off dairy because I would rather go without than put up with the taste of the new tablets. Such a shame.

New Milkaid tablet formula - beyond terrible!
I have been using the Milkaid tablets since I discovered I was lactose intollerant and they truly were a life-saver. It meant I could eat out without concern and even enjoy my favourite hot drinks. They tasted nice and were not at all chalky.
I have a monthly subscription with a national chain store but when I received my latest delivery I noticed the packaging stated that it was a "new improved formula".
There is NOTHING improved about them - they are beyond awful. They are extremely chalky and taste absolutely vile, leaving a nasty after-taste that ruins the taste of any food or drink you have. What is worse, there is nothing you can do about it as they have to be chewed!
I now have to find an alternative to the Milkaid tablets as, quite frankly, they made me gag!
I can only beg and plead with Milkaid to revert to their previous formula...

The new formula is horrendous
The new formula is horrendous, used to like the old but am genuinely repulsed by the new one. Never seen any product self destruct there own product this effectively. Its literally got to the point I'm avoiding dairy again because I hate the new pills that much and I been a loyal customer preciously.
