A different and healthier type of light to end the day.
It's been 3 weeks since i bought two lightbulbs, an amber one and a red one, in addition to the mini oculus.
The amber bulb offers a bright but calm warm light, perfect to have in your room at night while you do chores or other things that require a “stronger” light.
Meanwhile, the red bulb is perfect to rest your eyes before going to bed. It's bright enough to read a book comfortably.
Mini oculus is in my experience the best product of Mitochondrior. It's really versatile with its 3 colours and different levels of intensity. You can use it in places where you have blue lights and you don't want to turn them on, like in the bathroom, to brush your teeth or take a shower. Works very well to read books at night. It is made of high quality materials and i didnt have any issues with the battery duration.
After using these lights for almost a month, i felt that my eyes are less irritated and i felt drowsier before sleeping, which means that the lights actually help to improve my nights.
Overall, i am well satisfied with the purchase. The packaging was very well done and the personal approach to each client is remarkable.

Imanol, I had to read your review several times because you summed it up so beautifully 🙂
This is exactly how these lights were meant to be used and experienced. Slowly noticing what happens when you switch to softer light in the evening instead of constantly exposing yourself to harsh artificial lighting.
My whole focus was always on the latter part of the day, when the body should naturally begin preparing for sleep. These lights were developed exactly for that, to help the body transition into a calmer state instead of constantly receiving “daytime” signals from bright blue-heavy LEDs.
Reading reviews like yours honestly feels surreal sometimes, because you described almost exactly what I envisioned years ago when starting this journey.
I’m especially happy that you noticed the difference in your evenings, your eyes, and the feeling of getting naturally sleepy before bed. That’s exactly the experience I hoped people would have.
And your description of the Mini Oculus made me smile 🙂
I designed it to be that little light people naturally move around with during the evening without needing to flood the whole room with bright LEDs.

I haven’t tried the lights by night yet, but I am sure I will benefit tremendously from them. I already felt a huge relaxation after only wearing my red glasses for a few minutes.

Recommendation to feel calmer

I ordered amber and red bulbs, amber glasses and portable red light with sensor of movement.
They arrived very well packaged. I appreciated it.
Tested them for few weeks.
I must say that they are all of good manufacture!
The beneficial effect on sleeping quality, and on life, is strong.
I'm going to make a new order, red glasses for me and others for me and my mother.
Curious to see if my mother, almost 95 years old, can still get benefit.
Since she's autonomous and totally self-sufficient - getting better and better after a series of changes - a good sleep is the last "difficulty" to overcome. Thank you.

need love in a lightbulb?
honestly? if i had a say in this: everyone would HAVE to use these lights. i truly believe, people would be more relaxed, feel better & more grounded. after a test-buy and a 2nd & 3rd purchase right away i now have 3 ambered bulbs, 4x ambered oculus and 1x mini ambered oculus. plus i got a sensored motion light ♡. i want them all to be stretched throughout my apartment :)
i mostly use the red and mixed light, which both make the room feel so warm, welcoming & at ease. it's like all the cells of the body are breathing out with a soft sigh.
to me the lights, especially the red, feel like a hug, like a cozy blanket around you and as if someone is calmly humming to you in the sweetest way. i don't wanna miss these lights for a day!
i'm very impressed by the products, their pureness, the philosophy and the thoughtfulness behind it.
you can tell that it is created with love. nothing more to say. except: don't be stupid, get yourself this medicine :)

LIFE CHANGING PRODUCT!!
Before receiving my lightbulbs from Mitochondrior, I already had orange LED lightbulbs in my home. I wasn’t naive to light hygiene — I was intentionally working with what was available to me here in the EU, especially since incandescent bulbs are now illegal. (Something I also learned through Mitochondrior is that even incandescents — often praised as the gold standard — are not fully flicker-free the way they are promoted to be.) So I was doing the best I could with the options I had.
But the moment I replaced my previous orange LEDs with the Mitochondrior amber bulb, I felt the difference immediately.
Not just visually. In my body. In my nervous system. In my cells.
The previous bulbs were orange in color, yes — but there was still a subtle sharpness to them. A background tension I hadn’t fully registered until it was gone. When I installed the amber bulb, the room softened. My body recognized the coherence of the light.
The red bulbs have been even more profound.
I’ve used red LED bulbs in the past, and honestly, they felt invasive. They caused eye strain and a subtle agitation that made it hard to fully relax under them.
These are completely different. The red light is resonant. Deep. Settling.
When I turn them on, there is a womb-like atmosphere that fills the space. It feels enveloping. Primal. Safe. The nervous system drops immediately.
As a breastfeeding, cosleeping mama, this has been so supportive. Night wakings no longer feel like a hormonal interruption. I had previously been using a pink Himalayan salt lamp as a night light, assuming it was gentle enough — but in hindsight, it was still stimulating and likely suppressing melatonin more than I realized.
With these red bulbs, I can nurse my baby back to sleep without flooding my system with disruptive light. I fall back asleep with much more ease, and overall I feel more rested. Same with my baby.
I 10/10 recommend Mitochondrior’s products for anyone and everyone who has an interest in protecting, preserving and supporting health and vitality.

Does exactly what it was made for
Bought this to reduce blue light in the evening. It does exactly what it’s supposed to, pleasant amber and deep red light, no noticeable flicker, and a calm vibe at night. It's not magic, just a very well made bulb. If you want sleep friendly lighting, it works.
