The problem is that most modern LEDs were never designed with biology in mind. Many contain strong blue light spikes and invisible flicker that constantly stimulate the eyes, nervous system, circadian rhythm, and mitochondria. That’s why we created Mitorion. We develop circadian-friendly lights and blue-blocking glasses designed to reduce the most disruptive parts of modern artificial light while creating a softer, calmer indoor environment. I completely understand that first moment of uncertainty. Red light feels different at first, but once the eyes get used to it, evenings become much calmer and reading feels so much more relaxing.
Knowing the lights help you unwind at night makes me truly happy. That is exactly why I started making them.
