Bad me I fell for their post on FB and it was a scam.. It is the worse company ever. Their founders as posted seem like really great folks I'm not buying the photos of them in any way I bought what was to be a really great RC excavator that was shown with a small child with it. It finally showed up after over three weeks and it was about 10" long. Such a big scam for the money!! They also show it being unloaded from a pick up for delivery and three guys hefting it! This is the worse scam I’ve ever seen! They should be put out of business for false advertising! Shame on the owners!

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered the exvator and it’s a cheap 5 dollar toy you can buy from Walmart! I contacted federal trade commission and they have filed a report. Go to IC3.gov and file a report!

I also ordered the excavator from this company , I was speechless when it arrived. The gentleman that bought it for his grandson , same here going to be a disappointment along with all the rest of stress factors this year !!! . Not sure how we could all actually sue these people to even at least get them shut down!!!! Disgraceful false advertising I have ever seen or experienced

Total ripoff, stay away from this company! The definition of FALSE advertising. Bought the excavator for $79.99 based on the videos, the thing is small enough to fit in your hand, not taking three grown men to lift! I would guess everything Modern Mint sells is crap.

Do not buy from these people. Their business “model” is good old-fashioned fraud! I purchased a toy back hoe that (per their video ad) required three grown men to move into place. What arrived was a cheap toy that fit into a child’s shoebox. $199.99 marked down to $79.99–this thing isn’t worth more than $15.00. Total rip-off. No one answers phone listed on website. Owner bios are bogus including stock photos. They also threaten you credit score if you take any action to stop payment, claiming they “take fraud very seriously.” Well, so do I. Consider than warned.

If i could leave no stars i would. I bought the remote control excavator from them. I paid 70 dollars for it, it was advertised as being big enough for a child to swing in the bucket. I received it today, and it is approximately 6 inches high and very cheaply made. I will never order from them again!! Don't waste your money!!

This company could screw up a 2 car funeral! Ordered a handheld chainsaw took a month to arrive. Upon inspection it was missing the chain (the saw part). Contacted support via email, sent photo as requested traded emails over 10 days and was told that it was delivered. Again suggested they review the email train and ship the chain as promised. I am still waiting for a response, not optimistic I'll see the chain.

This company is a Chinese fraudulent company so beware. Do Not be fooled by the trick advertising.

Thinking of my grandson and Christmas I was taken in with an advert for a remote controlled metal excavator strong enough to pick up stones.

Reading the description and seeing the pictures and supporting video I could see how it had a retail price of $199 but I was wary when the discounted price was $54.91. I should have known. The excavator was duly delivered in a 200mm x100mm box and when opened was the smallest cheapest plastic toy not even worth $5.

ModernMnt advert address is in the USA but when I complained they emailed back saying that address doesn't exist and to send it back to China.

Obviously a scam.

Do not fall for the advertising and special discounts.

BUYER BEWARE - THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO HONOR! When I finally got my order, it did not work properly so I asked for return and was told I would receive credit as soon as I emailed them the tracking number. Took to USPS to send back and realized I had been SCAMMED! Product cost me 45.00 but return shipping was to cost me $53.00 BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO US ADDRESS! It had to be sent back to China. They refused to send me a prepaid shipping label. They have my $45. and I have a useless purchase. THEY KNOW THIS IN ADVANCE! They know there is no one to govern their scams. ALERT - THEY ALSO USE THE NAME "MODERN UPLIFT" SAME COMPANY - SAME SCAMS.

This company should be taken off the internet. They are classic bait and switch. I ordered a tool for removing weeds between bricks in patio or cement and it was lacking two crucial parts to make it work that were shown in the picture. When I talked to them, they said go buy those parts in a hardware store. When I said I wanted to return it. They said I'd have to ship it back to China that it had said so on their web page. Not. Guess how much it would have cost me to ship it to China? Right. The same as the product cost. I wish we had a government that followed up on these complaints.

I would give them a negative number if I could. I ordered a vortex rug. Cost me 50 bucks. Looked like a hole you would fall into when you stepped on it but when I received it it was not like the picture at all. Just a plain old black and white five dollar throw rug. When I contacted the company they told me to send them a picture of it. This is the strange part. When I pulled my phone out to take a picture it looked EXACTLY like the picture I saw that fooled me into buying it. I can’t send them a picture because all they would tell me is it looks just like the rug advertised. So after a couple not so nice emails to them they were kind enough to say I could return it, AT MY EXPENSE!! So the return address is in China. So I’m keeping the rug because god only knows how much that would cost me to return it and with this SHADY ASS company I probably would never get refund and I’d be out the 50 bucks plus probably 30 or so for shipping it back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MODERNMINT!!! I purchased the indoor air conditioner. It could not even pass for a hand fan!!! The product looks, works and feels like it is from the dollar store!!! There is no one to answer the customer service phone. This piece of crap cost me $52.00. I don't even know if I can return it!!!!

I ordered the Foam King power washer. Took more than two weeks to receive. Extension piece was missing; no instructions; washer that does not seem to fit anywhere. I called and left msg and auto-reply said someone would be in touch within 48 hr. It's been more than two weeks; called again and left msg; no response. No other way to make contact. Never again. Horrible!!!

Along with with many more customers that ordered the automated shears and ended up receiving an $8.00 pair of cheap shears that took two months to get. How could all of us order the wrong item? They say 100% guaranteed which is not true, they don’t answer their phone or emails. When they have a discloser about reversing charges on your credit card that they would go after you with their lawyer that should of been a huge red flag. I would not order anything from them, go to Amazon.

I wish there was an option to give negative stars (or at least ZERO. I read a previous review that described the exact issue I had: ordered what I thought were electronic cutting shears, received normal $10 cutting shears, called the company to tell them they sent the wrong thing, was told that was what I had ordered, said I was blatantly misled by false advertising and wanted to return the item, was given the return address in CHINA. Interestingly the return address on the package was NY. Kept the shears of course but I will be googling reviews from now on when I order ANYTHING. (Except from Amazon and Disney!)

This firm does not even deserve a 1 star as they promote items incorrectly. I thought I was ordering a shear that would be able to cut through thick stems and when received it 2 MONTHS LATER, it was a similar shears that I purchased from Home Depot for around $24 and I paid $44.00 with Modernmint. When I notified them, they informed me that I would have to return it to a foreign country in order to get my refund which would have cost me almost 1/2 the cost of the item to mail it back. VERY DISAPPOINTED! SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY POOR!! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS FIRM!

their statement, 100% money back guarantee. They did not send me what I ordered and then tried to tell me this was the option I choose. But on my email receipt was a photo of what I choose for the price I paid. I have sent all my paperwork to and from Modern Mint to the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey. I would not suggest ordering from this company.

I am reviewing based off of other experiences. I own a company with a similar name to theirs and unfortunately I keep receiving angry phone calls, emails, and bad reviews for their customers. I feel bad for every single one who has had to deal with mdrnmint.com. The company is an obvious scam. At first they were not sending products out. I reported their site since the calls were flooding into my business. Then suddenly the calls changed from "I haven't received ___ to I received the wrong thing". I have researched and this company actually has multiple companies they operate under besides just mdrnmint, all of which sell similar items and they are all scams.

I have also reported the company to cyber crime and world internet crime since they have scammed so many people. My personal business has been under attack as well because of the similar business name which has been an absolute nightmare.

I truly hope that all of your get your money back ASAP! Do not purchase purchase from mdrnmint.com.
