What a wonderful day! I attended the first Song of the Seed events and it was such a great time. It was deeply informative, and blended sharing knowledge, music, and group interaction seamlessly. Sherel and Dunc are excellent guides, lovely people, and really knowledgable. The food at T’Cure was excellent and the vibe paired so well with the preceding walk. I’d have happily spent even longer at any and every part of this event, it was all so good! It’s so nice to have gained a deeper appreciation of the local area and wildlife. I’d love to do it again, and bring some more friends too!

Me & my friend had such a magical time at the Songs of the Seeds event, it was such a beautiful & interesting day. I've never been to event like it before, it was a really amazing journey... We went from listening to beautiful poetry under the trees, to learning about the edible and healing properties of the plants around us, and trying pickled & preserved foraged plants, to making nettle twine while we listening to Dunc's beautiful music in the forest, then journeying on to T'cure to eat the most delicious, fresh & colourful locally grown meal, while listening to more beautiful live music from Dunc.
Sherel & Dunc were great workshop leaders, both such a wholesome & calming presence, and full of so much wisdom and magic. They were both so knowledgeable about all the plants and fungi around us, we learnt so much, & at the same time felt so much more connected to the nature around us.
Events like this are so important to highlight the importance of human connection with the food & as someone with chronic stomach issues, this helped me a lot. I hope that Moonfull will continue to run amazing events like this to teach and help people, as this is the kind of resource and learning we desperately need in the modern world, where humans are becoming more disconnected from the source of the foods they eat.

About 12 of us enjoyed a foraging taster session. We spent time in the woods appreciating its beauty and learning about trees and their medicinal and wellbeing properties. We were treated to live music too.

I was blown away by Dunc and Sherel’s organic wine making event at Nelson’s in Hebden Bridge. The experience was so much more than just learning how to make wine, but rather brought together the history, practice, and information about foraging and plants through creative storytelling and practical workshops, with an emphasis on community and collaboration. The night was fun, informative and resulted in delicious organic wines! You couldn’t ask for more from the hosts, will definitely be seeking out future Moonfull events.

We've been to a few of Moonfull's experiences and have also drunk some of their wines and spirits. Dunc and Sherel are very approachable, knowledgeable and professional with a great warmth and enthusiasm. They are passionate about foraging and wild eating. I would recommend Moonfull to anyone looking for a fun and informative event or experience with friends or colleagues.

Myself and my partner attended a moonful natural wine making event and we had the best time! We learnt about local wild food, herbs and flowers and made our own wine using their foraged ingredients. Sherel and Dunc are so warm and welcoming as well as being incredibly passionate and knowledgeable - we learnt so much from them. Can't wait to attend more moonful events in the future!

Such a unique & bespoke experience on our foraging walk with Moonfull. I've been on foraging walks before but never with this much care & attention from the facilitators-from the bardic songs & ditty's about each plant to the cute Moonfull notebook which made a great souvenir. I can't wait to attend more of their workshops & wine tasting.

I have been on a couple of wild food foraging experiences with Moonfull. The events were excellent -- informative, relaxed and welcoming to all. I learned so much from Dunc and Sherel, from Moonfull, about edible plants and delicious ways to use in meals. I've also been on one of their vegan wine making courses. It was outstanding -- the attention to detail, the information shared and the end product, all absolutely brilliant. I can't recommend Moonfull highly enough.

I’ve been on two walks in Nature with Moonfull - both were ‘no-pick’ guides to plants and trees (so although we were given guidance about the edible plants, we were encouraged not to try them on the walk).
Dunc and Sherel are warm guides who share their considerable knowledge and expertise in a way which makes the participants feel they are in safe hands. The additional creative element of original stories and songs embellishes the learning aspect and makes the guidance about the plants even more memorable.

I had a wonderful experience with Moonfull, led by Sherel and Dunc. What they offer is far more than just a walk – it’s a genuinely thoughtful and immersive experience in nature.

From the outset, everything felt calm, well-held and professionally guided, while still being relaxed and completely unforced. I came away feeling noticeably more grounded and refreshed, and I also appreciated the creative elements woven into the walk, particularly the storytelling, which added something quite special.

It’s clear they’ve put real care into shaping an experience that would work just as well for individuals as for larger groups or corporate settings. If you’re looking to give people a meaningful break from the pressures of work and reconnect them with the natural world, Moonfull does this beautifully.
