One of their previous 4-cup models lasted me about 15 years. They no longer make a 4-cup so I purchased the 5-cup instead. It has so many flaws; there's no way it would've passed testing. I placed a call to them within the first month of purchase (Sept 2020) and they offered a warranty replacement - 1.5 months later and still nothing. I tried to call but they have closed their call center now so I had to email my question. They responded saying, "As per checking here on my end, your order has been cancelled due to the availability of the stocks for the model of your coffee maker. We really apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you." They weren't supposed to be issuing the same exact model anyway but still, they didn't notify me at the time of cancellation or offer a refund for me to purchase a replacement. Also, the review I left on their website was moderated and deleted. I included pictures to backup all claims but again, just got a "too bad" response so here it goes.

The condensation produced by this coffee maker is insane!! I can't open the top w/o water running all over the heating element. There is also always a large puddle on my counter but it brews the same amount of water as I put in so it has to be condensation as well. The basket has a permanent fixture underneath and is always filled w/residue and very difficult to clean out. The carafe handle feels loose and is poorly secured with a metal screw; wonder how long that will take to rust. The pour spout is too narrow so the coffee spills out of the rim when pouring. The "2-hour" auto shut-off is actually a MAX of 20 minutes.

I like coffee and for the price it's a great machine. You can make lattes cappuccino singles or double shots. plain simpley great coffees.
