Very comfortable, BUT I bought MUD jeans after reading their circular promise, but please try to return one of your worn jeans to them, simply not possible or if then really hard I did not get it after many minutes of research on their website (e.g. no address to sent to), just the big slogan.
No-go for me & would never buy again.
Switched the brand of jeans.

Mud Jeans hat schnell reagiert und sich entschuldigt. Die Rückzahlung ist jetzt gekommen.

I leased two jeans because I really liked the concept of sustainability.

At first I was surprised in a positive way. Really fast costumer service replies, even faster shipping.
The jeans I have are the same model, only different color,and the fit differs a lot. I like both, so that was ok. Even though it could be annoying that the W29 is much tighter than the W28.

4 month of wearing and one jeans teared completely open at the knee. I never had a jeans damaged at the knee in my entire life. It was not stressed in any noteworthy way. Just poor quality!

So, I contacted the costumer service.
First of all, the response time isn't that fast anymore when it comes to a claim.
Second, I leased with the condition that they offer free repair for leased jeans. Now they tell me, conditions have changed, we only refund 50% of repairing costs. I would never have leased the products with these new conditions. It is highly questionable to change leasing conditions for existing contracts, even with no information to the costumer.
My conditions, which are now called "outdated" by the costumer service are still findable online! Screenshots are saved.
I'm thinking of a lawyer to check this.
Mud jeans, never again!

Tot mijn spijt moet ik zeggen: de broeken zijn echt van slechte kwaliteit. Veel pluizen. De binnenkant van de zak scheurde na korte tijd open. Na een jaar valt er spontaan een scheur in het kruis. De maatvoering was niet juist: de blauwe broek was véél groter dan de grijze, ondanks dat het dezelfde maat zou zijn.

Kortom: MUD Jeans wil graag een duurzaam bedrijf zijn maar hun broeken zijn het allerminst.

Leuk bedrijf en idee is gaaf! Nu heb ik een jeans besteld en mijn nieuwe adres gegeven ingevoerd bij de bestelling, komt in een in de bevestiging mijn oude adres! Geen idee waarom. Daarna wil ik inloggen om te corrigeren en krijg ik een error en laad hij de pagina niet! Echt jammer - nu gaat mijn jeans naar totaal verkeerde adres terwijl ik de juiste info heb ingevoerd.

Update 21 juni 2024: ik moest zelf het pakket op gaan halen bij het verkeerde adres. Toen ik de broek paste was die echt veel te klein en de maat klopt totaal niet. Ik heb een maat W34 maar die is kleiner dan een jeans met maat 42. Dus ik wil retourneren en na de fouten die Mudjeans heeft gemaakt moet ik ook nog kosten betalen om te retourneren! Kortom klantenservice is echt heel slecht.

Update 16 juli 2024 en de volgende stap gaat ook fout. Ik heb de jeans terug gestuurd en nu durven ze mij ook nog weer lease kosten in rekening te brengen! Er gaat dus echt administratief niets goed bij dit bedrijf!

Don't know the last time I had to pay for returning a product.

My year long payments for my (High Jamie) jeans is going to be up this month, and, after a year of (heavy) wear I feel like I can write a well informed feedback on the product:

There are a lot of things i really like about my jeans. For example, the embroidered logo at the back, the subtle looseness. The colour is a little faded now, but nothing I would not expect after multiple wears and washes; the fabric has not thinned out and they probably still have another year - or more - of life in them left.

However, i give them three stars, as after the very first wash my perfectly fitting jeans shrunk in length. The waist, butt, thighs still fit well, but they are very annoyingly about 5 centimetres too short, not full length and not cropped. To me this suggests that the company may not be prewashing the fabrics before cutting them into garments, as fabrics often tend to shrink after first wash. It is a cost cutting technique often employed by fast fashion companies and if I pay 130 euros for an item that boasts longevity and sustainability, I expect it to wear, wash and fit well - and the last aspect, sadly, is amiss.

Ethical and sustainable brand. The jeans I received are well made, high quality. They are really open and transparent about their production process, showing they care about fair wages but also the environment. Also good live chat service when I needed help with sizing. I went for the Dunn jeans and so far they're definitely my favourite because they fit so well and it's a really nice wash.

The zipper of my jeans broke after just 3 months. I contacted the customer service, which offered a refund of 10 €, which would have been nice. Unfortunately, I never received that 10€, even tough I contacted the customer service more than 3 times with the receive and payment information, which only ended in not receiving any further responses - and of course no refund.

After that negative customer service experience I can only recommend to not buy at Mud Jeans.

Ik had destijds van tevoren per e-mail contact opgenomen om advies te vragen welk model spijkerbroek het beste bij mijn lichaamsbouw past. Ik kreeg daar snel een compleet en persoonlijk antwoord op. Dankzij dat advies heb ik het juiste model kunnen kiezen. Ik heb de spijkerbroek nu een half jaar, en nog geen slijtage te zien. Dus prima kwaliteit. En (voor mij) net zo belangrijk: momenteel een van de meest duurzame merken voor een nieuwe spijkerbroek. Ik mis wel echt de mogelijkheid om je bestelling bij een PostNL of DHL Pick-Up Point te laten bezorgen, nu ben je verplicht om het thuis te laten bezorgen. Niet duurzaam, want wordt met oude dieselbus bezorgd. Dat past in mijn optiek niet bij de duurzame visie van Mud Jeans. Als de Pick-Up point mogelijkheid in de toekomst wordt toegevoegd, dan zal Mud Jeans van mij de volle 5 sterren krijgen.

Ik heb 3 jeans van Mud. Pasvorm erg fijn. Stoffen voelen lekker. Echter 1 broek met knopen gulp en 2 met rits. Bij die met knoop liet binnen half jaar knoop los. Gat in de jeans rekte uit waardoor knoop niet meer kon worden geplaatst. Broek zat niet te strak dus niet door sianning op de stof. Bij beide broeken net ritsgulo is binnen het haar de rits kapot. Trekker opaal één zijde uit de rits en niet meer terug te krijgen.
Kwaliteit afwerking dus. Nog nooit bij anderen merken problemen met gulpen gehad. Zeker niet binnen een jaar.

Love the jeans, they are super comfortable and fit well. Will definitely come back to buy another pair next time.

Dit zijn echt de fijnste spijkerbroeken die ik ooit heb gehad! Mooie kwaliteit, fijne stevige spijkerstof en mooie pasvorm, die ook zonder te wassen goed blijft. Ik wil alleen nog maar MUD jeans!

Wat een fijne broeken! De kwaliteit is gewoon goed en het is een fijn idee dat er geen rare pesticiden zijn gebruikt bij het maken van de broeken. Dit zijn de duurzaamste broeken die je kan dragen, het wordt tijd dat andere merken ook is normaal gaan doen!

Topbroeken! Draag niet anders meer. Kwaliteit vergelijkbaar met grote jeansmerken wat mij betreft, draag er twee al meer dan een jaar heel intensief, en nog geen scheuren of iets dergelijks. Kleuren blijven ook mooi, uiteraard wel met 'normale' lichter wordende kleuren na veel wasbeurten.

Daarnaast ook een hele mooie bedrijfsmissie!

Heb nu een aantal broeken van MUD Jeans. Broeken waren snel verzonden en top om te zien dat het plastic vrij was. Had een vraag over de maten en kreeg goede begeleiding van de customer service. Krijg altijd veel complimenten over de broek en hij vormt ook mooi naar je lichaam. Blij mee!
