They don't answer customer e-mails regarding a refund and don't even answer to the case made by ECC (european consumer centre).

I liked the look and the sustainable approach, but today my pair tore apart from sitting in a couch, two years from purchase (no pre-tear or damage). Doesn't seem that sustainable to me, they should hold together for longer. When I bought the jeans I thought I was buying quality.

I've e-mailed regarding this. Hope they'll take care of their customers, I'll write here when they've answered and I know!

Edit: First answer, "You get -30 euro if you BUY A NEW PAIR"...

Ambities klinken mooi, maar hij zit te strak om de bovenbenen, maar zit onder de riem werkelijk dubbel en zakken zijn niet diep genoeg voor standaard sleutelbos e.d..
Na 3x wassen is de oorspronkelijke kleur weg. Na 5x dragen is hij in het kruis gescheurd en zijn alle zakken open gescheurd waardoor alles wat je erin stopt ergens in de broek rond het bovenbeen blijft hangen.

The quality of the fabric is very very poor. They got holes in the ass, after just 2 weeks of waring them. From all the cheap "fast fashion" jeans I have worn out so far, I never had such a bad ones. Not even talking about the color, which gets wasched out after just 1 washing.

I bought two pairs of jeans. I love the look and feel, but unfortunately the quality could be better. After 6 months of wear, the fabric has ripped at the crotch and knees. On the other pair it has also ripped at the crotch and above the back pocket. It's a shame, I love the concept and the jeans. the reason I gave 4 stars is because I wrote mud. they were very friendly and supportive and gave me a discount afterwards.

Orders come quickly. However, to return items expect numerous micro-annoyances: 1) no return labels; 2) misleading instructions about where to drop off the returns - just say PostNL (or your country’s postal service), for crying out loud, don’t imply it is DHL or whatever company delivered; 3) no recognition that many people don’t have printers, much less labels at home to DIY a return label; 4) no offer to send a label or sincerely acknowledge that returning an item will take a customer more time and effort than expected.

Maar 26/32 gekozen voor een flared en een straight fit. Die zit prima normaal Levis nu dus Mud. Maten bij Mud vallen wat ruimer dus vandaag de 26 gekozen.
Zeker nu dus fan 👌

Ik wilde graag een vervanging voor mijn Levi's 501 spijkerbroek, maar bij goodonyou krijgt Levi's: It's a start = niet zo goed. En MUD krijgt: Great!. Met enige moeite kreeg ik een broek binnen, want ook als je de filter op 'straight' zet kun je toch een skinny aanklikken - (niet goed opgelet). Daardoor was ik de 25% korting kwijt die ik via GreenChoice had gekregen. Die kon niet meer gegeven worden voor de juiste keus. En...het was een mooie broek, maar meer geschikt voor een cocktailparty dan voor een wandeling met mijn hondje. Er zitten nauwelijks zakken in (5cm diep) dus geen plek voor mijn telefoon en de kontzakken zijn ook te klein voor een telefoon. En het kleine zakje is zo smal dat je erg moet peuteren om er iets uit te krijgen. En de rits is korter... Ik wil graag mens, dier en milieu sparen en daar meer voor betalen, maar waarom moet er dan beknibbeld worden op stof en op dingen die op een webshop-plaatje en beschrijving niet duidelijk worden.
Ik heb in een mail aan MUD gevraagd waar ik feedback kwijt kon, maar daar geen reactie op gekregen.

Erg mooie broeken, maar kwaliteit is belabberd. Van de 3 broeken is er een na een paar keer dragen gescheurd en de ander na 1.5 jaar dragen op twee plekken gescheurd. Mooi concept maar als broeken zo snel stuk zijn is het verre van duurzaam.

Prachtige olijfgroene broek. Leasemogelijkheid is ook prima en het hele concept klinkt erg aantrekkelijk.
Helaas was de broek binnen een jaar aan de achterkant al op twee plaatsen verduurd en uitgescheurd en hij was echt niet meer te repareren. Het heeft helaas behoorlijk lang geduurd voordat de klantenservice reageerde en erkende dat het om een productiefout ging en dat ik daarom een nieuwe broek zou krijgen.
Een 7 min dus. Want in principe is het een mooi bedrijf en die olijfgroene chino is echt prachtig.

Don’t order if you’re in Switzerland; you pay 20 euros shipping, 30 euros tax. Once you send the jeans back they won’t receive them as mud cannot give you a proper sending back number so they cannot find them. Customer support stopped answering emails. I lost 160 euros in total..

These jeans are amazing. I can wear them forever without washing them, they are strong and stay in shape while at the same time stredgy and comfortable. I'm impressed. Happy I found MUD jeans.

Nog nooit zo'n slechte klantenservice meegemaakt. Administratie is een drama en zelfs met bewijs dat zij een fout hebbeb gemaakt krijg je 0 reactie. Moet nu via de bank m'n geld terug zien te krijgen. Nooit meer.

I'm in love. These jeans are so amazing in every way, I just couldn't recommend them enough. They feel high quality, but the fabric is still stretchy enough so that the jeans are comfortable. They also look so good and stylish.

The jeans were nice when they arrived yet five months in to the subscription they ripped while I was sitting cross legged and are now unwearable.

I went to Customer Service and waited five days to be told they have a repair service but were “double checking whether this should happen”.

Five days and two more nudges later and I was told they couldn’t send me a replacement but “could I wait a few weeks”. They also told me that they would not be pausing my payment despite the fact that I now have a product that is unusable. So where does this leave me?

“Of course I understand your frustration because your monthly payments continue. Unfortunately we can't pause this, but you will have paid the exact same amount over a 12 month period, not more or less.” - why should I be paying for a faulty product?

I have been waiting a further four days to hear from Mud after requesting they cancel my subscription immediately. I am completely disappointed and saddened at their customer service, and how uninterested they have been in helping one of their customers. If I had been told they would pause my payments while they figured out how to get a replacement to me I would not be writing this review because I wanted to support an ethical company. I will not be buying from them again because clearly their ethics do not stretch to their customer base.

Goede kwaliteit broeken met een mooie missie. Heb twee jaar geleden een broek geleased bij het bedrijf en ik draag die nog steeds met veel plezier.

I love the idea behind MUD jeans, but I am disappointed by the brand so far. They do not come across as a diverse company, and when listening to the owner on the A World From Scratch podcast I don't think that diversity and inclusion is something they genuinely care about.

Additionally, I leased the Relax Rose jeans that according to their website has a 'loose fit'. Unfortunately, I suspect the pants is merely a loose fit for standard, skinny models. I am not a model, generally wear a M size and I followed the guidelines for sizes on the website. However, the pants did not fit me like the model on the website at all.

I would like to give MUD jeans some credit for the better looking new website that is also a lot quicker than before. Which significantly improves the user experience of ordering a jeans. The circular concept is great, which leads me to give them three stars. Still, I would not recommend MUD jeans at the moment.

Loved it. Ordered their Regular Dunn and Dunn Chino jeans. I did not at first appreciate the effect the difference in the fabric composition (100% cotton vs. +2% elastane) has on the fit and thus had to return the Chino. The return worked smoothly, and was processed swiftly. When I reached out for an advice on the size, I got a quick and detailed explanation. Also I love the feel and the fit of the other pair which I got to keep. Finally, appreciate the ethics of the company.

Very happy about the quality of the jeans.

I'm a proud owner of the first crowdfunding jeans and sweater of Mud jeans. They are made from old jeans to last long. Very happy with it, soft material nice to wear!
