Tracy made the experience great from giving advice on accommodation, completing entry forms and giving helpful WhatsApp phone number in case of any problems . We had a great time there eating with locals (very cheap) and having afternoon tea at Raffles . Botanic Gardens, Singapore flyer Gardens by the Bay and lots of shopping. Looking forward to using Murray Travel very soon.

We had heard of this holiday but had no idea which travel company offered it. Susan at Murray Travel was absolutely brilliant. She tracked down the company, Kirker, and kept on the case so that we didn’t miss the booking window. (The tour runs twice a year only.)
We had a truly exceptional experience on the tour. There were only eight of us, with two extremely knowledgeable guides. The programme was varied: art, architecture, antiquities, archaeology, plus a musical evening and excellent lunches.
There was quite a a bit of walking involved but taxis were available if some of us flagged. We were all past retirement age.
The hotel was good, with a roof terrace bar /breakfast room, but our , bedroom , otherwise comfortable, could have done with some drawer or shelves, not just hanging space.

Thanks to Murray Travel we had a wonderful holiday. We are elderly and they helped choose the right hotel which was on the flat with all amenities in close proximity for walking . Will have no hesitation in booking with them again

Between us and Aimee at Murray Travel, we planned a round the world trip to celebrate our retirement.
Aimee was professional to the end, with lots of advice and ideas.
We booked accommodation and excursions, Aimee pulled together our flights - 9 in total -, a couple of hotel stays, and suggested a cruise to finish off our trip when we couldn't quite figure out how to make our plans work.
She kept in regular touch with information before, during and after our trip.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aimee and Murray Travel.

The hotels and travel choices were first class, everything made easy ie flights from Aberdeen to Heathrow to Boston, limo to Salam (top class Waterfront hotel) and back, somehow they managed to get us Business class to New Orleans to another class hotel in the perfect location for the Jazz scene and a visit to the crocodiles and the famous Mississippi River, then to Miami Beach to the amazing Plymouth hotel where the staff were 5 star, my daughters and I loved every minute, a very big thank you to all the staff Murray travel..😊

We can't recommend him highly enough. He makes everything easy from start to finish and takes all the stress out of planning. He really listens to what we want, comes up with brilliant suggestions, and puts together great options. We've used him for both extravagant trips as well as budget options -- best in class.

What we appreciate most is how lovely and helpful he is. Nothing feels like too much trouble, and he's always quick to answer questions or sort anything out.

Aside from the weather, which no one can do anything about, our hotel was great. Martha was really helpful when we booked it, and made sure everything was included. Flight was comfortable, and staff were very attentive. Would definitely use Murray Travel again and go back to Playa Bonita in Playa del Ingles

Martha who was dealing with our holiday was great nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely atmosphere in the shop and your made to feel very welcome and relaxed, everyone is really friendly. I will definitely be using Murray travel again.

Just returned from a second ski holiday booked through Murray Travel, Jacqui at the Elgin branch was her usual very helpful self as were the entire team there.
From ensuring we were checked in for flights through to ensuring transfers etc ran smoothly, complete peace of mind booking through them.

I have now used Murray travel a number of times. They have always given me good information and suggestions on where to go, having listened to what I require from my holidays. To date all my experiences in various locations have been very successful, from the location, to the hotel and the level of care I have received in order, to ensure a great holiday.

I had a fantastic experience booking our Lapland day trip with Jen! From first contact she was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I am so excited to now be in countdown to spending the most magical day with my children.

Their excellent customer service was always welcoming and friendly in person, on the phone or by email. They listened to our needs and requests, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us through our enquiries and explained things clearly and courteously which made us feel reassured and confident in our first holiday with them.

The company is to be applauded for the brave step in offering direct holidays from Inverness, instead of the usual Edinburgh/Glasgow flights for such trips. It was very much appreciated.
Having a limited number of chartered Air Baltic flights to Gran Canaria we were able to decide on which hotel and when, the whole holiday packaged and ABTA protected.
The flights were comfortable, and we had the seating we requested. Not much choice in the food offerings to suit us but we had what there was and, for a short haul, this wasn't a problem for us.
The hotel we chose (adults only) was lovely and we had a wonderful two weeks.
There were Murray travel reps at every stage in arriving/departure which again was very reassuring. There were a couple of small glitches initially (transfers/hotel reps) but were fed back to Murray Travel who sorted the small issues immediately. These were probably just teething problems for their new venture but their service overall could not be faulted.
Overall we are happy to rate our first holiday travel with Murray as first rate/5 stars and would heartily recommend. As a small business they always put their customers front and centre, in our experience, and that is important to us. We will definitely use them for our holiday breaks from now on.

We booked a city break to Kraków last year through Carla at Murray Travel. Our departure date was 20 March 2026 for 4 days.

Our group goes away for a city break every year, and we usually organise everything ourselves. However, this time we decided to use Murray Travel and what a difference Carla made.

Carla priced up a range of options for us, including different airport departures since we all live some distance apart. Once we’d chosen and booked, we were able to pay in instalments, which we’d definitely recommend as it meant we only needed spending money by the time we travelled.

Our flights were with EasyJet and we had speedy boarding - good seats, and an adequate luggage allowance included. Everything ran on time, even with the early start. Same on the way home.

The apartment was beautiful- spacious, well equipped, warm, spotless and very comfortable with large beds. It was centrally located and had 24-hour reception, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were also able to book excursions with convenient pick-ups directly from the apartment.

During our stay we visited several restaurants-Mr Jerry’s, Mamma Mia, and Piano Rouge and all were fantastic.

Excursions included Auschwitz & Salt Mines, on separate days - both excellent & very informative.

We’d highly recommend Kraków for a city break, and we’ll definitely be using Murray Travel again next year. It’s a brilliant company and they helped create such a great holiday. Lots of special memories made. Many thanks to Carla. We loved the card waiting for us when we arrived home! 😊
