We first used Murray Travel a couple of years ago for a city break and we haven't looked back since. Lyndsay is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for her. She's friendly, professional and really knows her stuff. I particularly appreciate using a local company, and we loved our holiday in a wonderful, personally recommended hotel in Gran Canaria direct from Inverness earlier this year. I also very much appreciate the fabulous work they're doing to improve local travel options.

Kacie at Murray Travel was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and made booking our holiday to Iceland completely stress-free. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and put together an unforgettable trip that exceeded our expectations.

Every part of the holiday was perfectly organised and she gave us an easy to follow itinerary to keep us on track! We enjoyed horse riding through stunning volcanic landscapes and hot springs, an incredible whale-watching trip where we were lucky enough to see lots of whales, dolphins and puffins, a quad biking adventure through the rivers and mountains, and the freedom of having a hire car to explore Iceland’s spectacular scenery. One of the highlights was a drive to the breathtaking Háifoss waterfall from the final scenes of Stranger Things. Finally we spent a wonderfully relaxing day at the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.

The hotel Kacie chose for us was excellent. It was perfectly located, just a two-minute walk from the centre of Reykjavík, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. The breakfasts were superb, setting us up perfectly for each day’s adventures, the room was comfortable and the staff were always welcoming throughout our stay.

Kacie couldn’t have been any more helpful. She was always available to answer questions, offered great advice and recommendations, and made sure every detail was taken care of before we travelled. Her knowledge, professionalism and friendly approach gave us complete confidence throughout the whole process.

If you’re looking for a travel agent who genuinely cares about creating unforgettable holidays, I couldn’t recommend Kacie and Murray Travel highly enough. Thank you for helping us make memories that will last a lifetime! 🇮🇸

Booking my first solo holiday was rather daunting but Martha from Inverness Branch of Murray’s Travel was fantastic. She took time to provide me with different options, listened to my views and managed to suggest a holiday that ticked all the boxes. I flew from Inverness direct to Mallorca in June and had a fabulous time. I will be using Murray’s Travel to book my next holiday.

When we walk into the shop we feel it's like walking into a friend's house. We are always made to feel welcome and the atmosphere is always calm and reassuring. As we have medical needs, our requirements are always taken into consideration proactively, often without needing to remind anyone. Our holidays have always gone well, with nothing ever left to chance. Jen, in the Forres branch, is a pleasure to go in to see, and we know all our needs will be addressed. We always get a welcome home card after our holiday.

Top class professional customer service. Excellent advise, information and support provided by Susan who always makes sure all my holiday wishes and arrangements are taken care of. She always makes sure to keep in touch with any queries or updates both in preparation for my holiday and follow up after I return. Main reason for always choosing Murray Travel.

Alistair is the absolute best! I had never used a travel agent before but i would now ALWAYS go to Alistair. I have recommended to family and friends since. He is so helpful. He listened to what i wanted and gave really useful insights and knowledge to help me create a really lovely holiday. I was going on my first solo trip and i was scared! We have been using Murray Travel (Inverness) for several years and have found all of the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our most recent advisor, Susan Freeman, took all of our individual demands and requests in her stride and was willing to spend as much time as necessary in order to find the most suitable place and accommodation for us. This took a lot of the stress out of booking a trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kos, which was a new destination for me, but one which we will definitely return to.

We booked our mini moon this year as a super quick getaway! We had our heart set on Ibiza from the get go and I am a fussy traveller knowing exactly what I want and Laura Macpherson found us the perfect getaway. Our hotel was exactly as described and she has made sure our whole trip went without a glitch sorting everything for us. Even going above and beyond getting the hotel staff to drop us in bubbly as a wee surprise. Laura is a great asset to your team and will book again soon!

The help we received from Murray Travel in booking our long distance travel to Australia and Singapore was invaluable. We managed to secure through Murray Travel, and a big shout here for Dot in the Nairn Branch, excellent deals both for flights and stop-over hotel accommodation in Singapore. For non-seasoned long distance travellers, it was very reassuring to know that the team at Murray Travel were watching our flight schedules, both ways, and touching base with us at just the right time in advance of any flight departure. We wouldn't hesitate to use this travel firm again.

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to America organised by Dot in the Nairn branch.
We had a few places we wanted to visit during our trip and after a lot of patience from Dot, we had a plan in place.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish with good hotels, car hire and good flight times.
This is the second time booking a special holiday through Dot and Murray Travel and would highly recommend.

Our recent trip to Krakow was made so simple and easy by the skill and knowledge of Kacie, our Travel Agent at Murray Travel. Kacie’s recommendations were excellent, from accommodation to suggested itinerary. Attention to detail and support were second to none.
