I made an order on the 18th of January. I got a response saying "we aim to dispatch all packages within 24 to 72 hours". I followed up on the 24th of January as I had heard nothing. I received a response from Oumaissa in customer support apologising for the delay and contrary to the original email, Oumaissa said they aim to ship packages "between 15 to 21 business days" after the order. Again I did not heard anything for a while so I chased on the 7th of Feb to which the same person responded with "Unfortunately,I regret to inform you that we are currently unable to provide a specific timeframe for your items to be shipped. It could be a week, two weeks, or even a month before your order is dispatched". So I left it for a while and chased again on the 20th of March to which the same person responded with "We are doing everything within our capacity to ensure that you will receive your order promptly during Ramadan before Eid Insha’Allah". I followed up again on 3rd of April and this is their response "I know how much this can be frustrating but there are a lot of orders before yours. I can’t give you an exact date unfortunately. But if by this week it’s not shipped yet ,I’m not sure you will receive it before Eid."
Over 3 months since the order and they can't even provide a date around expected delivery. Absolutely shambolic! Despite of this, I continue to get regular ads from them on Facebook and Instagram. Clearly they are spending the money on Marketing!!
My kids are really excited for the products and sadly there are no alternatives in the market which is why I haven't cancelled but their customer support and their excuses just do not make sense. If you can't work out as a business when you can ship orders, maybe you should not be running that business.
UPDATE - 7th April. After leaving this review and posting comments on their social media (FB and Instagram) alerting other customers about the issues, I received an email on the 5th of April that the order has been cancelled but no mention of when to expect refund. I have sent multiple emails since and haven’t had a response yet. Total scam, will be reporting to the authorities!
