Having problems signing into my account…
Having problems signing into my account their is no point having an email address if you cannot sign in when you need to. I wouldn’t recommend them. Unless they change quickly you can sign into your account. I will write another review, to see if they have improved their service, to see if they become a reliable provider.
Not Free or reliable
Despite the promises this is not free and you will be quickly blocked from signing in after you have registered.
A demand for a minimum of €12 appears onscreen but doesn't guarantee you access once you've paid

Duck this company what a load of bullshit they do not reply to your emails ever. I’ve lost all my business email!
After having paid for this app for a…
After having paid for this app for a couple of years i got an email saying I needed to top up my balance or my account would be closed. Emailed them back about how much it was going to cost, no reply. I have tried and tried for over a week now about being unable to sign in to my account and they simply are not there. I suspect the trying to get you to top up your balance was the final sting before they scarpered. Avoid.
Account Closed Without Notice – No Support Response
I strongly advise caution before relying on mail.co.uk as your main email provider.
Without any prior notice, my account was suddenly closed, leaving me without access to important emails and personal data. The only explanation given was a generic “security reason,” but despite following all recommended steps and contacting support multiple times, I have received no response at all.
This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a service that handles sensitive personal communications. Email accounts are often linked to banking, shopping, and work accounts — sudden closure without resolution creates serious risks for users.
As an EU/UK-based provider, mail.co.uk is required under GDPR to respond to data access and account issues within 30 days, but so far they have failed to meet this obligation.
Users deserve clear communication, proper support channels, and compliance with data protection laws. Until mail.co.uk improves its customer service and regulatory compliance, I cannot recommend this provider.

Fraud / SCAM / Stealing digital infos
this is nothing to do with a uk based email, it is a german gmbh (ltd company) based in germany, hacking the email adresses open in their platform, and getting digital infos, like crypto wallet seeds and steal the cryptoes and tokens from accounts. Stay away. Fraudster Email Service...
AVOID
They close your account for no reason. I believe they are doing it totake your data and other digital assets as cusomter support isn't helpful.
Untrustworthy.
STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY. They closed my account for no reason. Happened to my business account and now my personal account. I’ve lost everything. No response from support.

Site closed down my husbands email account with no warning, have lost concert tickets and experience tickets have tried to contact them but no reply.
If someone wants to lose their money…
If someone wants to lose their money then go to Royal Mail and send parcels from the post office!!!
No one of my parcels have received and I sent 3 of them from the same post office in Central London on different occasions, this year!
I have the records for all of them!
After a writing complaint, they sent me today a cheque of £ 8.50 which was the payment for the last one!
The value inside is £100 and they have a policy to give you a minimum £20 if receiver doesn’t receive anything!!
My address was on the back of the parcel so I can’t see the reason not to have my parcel back!
I will definitely complain further
CAN'T BE TRUSTED
For reasons I won't go into (nothing dodgy) I set up a mail.co.uk account using an alternative name, it served it's purpose and all went well until I was opening a shopping account using the same password. I got a message,"this password has been hacked" As neither account is sensitive I wasn't too bothered until I received an e mail at mail.co.uk from my phone provider using my real name. I have given that address to nobody, something is wrong somewhere.
BE AWARE! TOTAL SCAM!!!
Don't use them! TOTAL SCAM! They deleted my email account! I am emailing them for a week already and no response. I am afraid that they are the one who hacks into people email addresses as I found it strange that there is zero response from them. I think i is time to report them to the GDPR and cyber security for negligence. I will not let this slide!!!! STAY AWAY!!!

They just deleted my account for no reason. I asked them many times to restore it they didn't want to help. There is no customer service in the UK. At least they don't want you to find it. I had an Epicgamestore and a World of Tanks account lost which I spent money on because of them. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!
Not able to send an email - Incorrect Classification Spam
I had this message when I was sending an important email for work.
I was not able to sent the email. I sent more than 6 email to the support service to help me fix the problem but they didn't reply to me at all. I also tried to call the customer service but nobody can speak English. So if you don't speak German, you can't get any help. Very disappointed about that. Customer Service it's very very bad and unprofessional.
I don't suggest this email provider. Especially if you need for work. It's NOT trustworthy !!!
Be patients, customer service is grim, but if you're tech savvy you can do this youself. Anonymous, cheap, but little support (and very condescending)
An email provider that I stupidly paid for. When I forgot my password the customer service could not have been worse. I had my first computer business 35 years ago when Sinclair launched the first affordable sort-of computer (most people won't remember!) yet this company treat me like I'm incapable because their password reset process won't work. When I told them they just told me to try again - I had to be the one to tell them that the code they send you only works once!
So I have emailed my passport to them four times to prove my identity, this has been going on for days. All I can say is don't waste your money, stick with something like gmail or your own domain's service, Ionos 1&1 have been fantastic over the last 15 years, phone support whenever you need it - this cowboy outfit can only manage to send an unhelpful one-line email every 24 hours. Stay away!
After a week of this ridiculous situation I was finally sent a clue that resetting my email address would not work, I would first have to edit my nickname login. Not mentioned in any documentation. So it now works. I would have just left but I have two very short, very memorable ebay addresses - I'd like to keep them. The site boasted complete anonymity. I don't really need that, but if you do give it a go. Pretty basic but you can forward imap mail boxes to another address. And its not expensive.
