Online purchase without seeing a sample of the actual product was a “NO NO”! and I went online and researched REAL customer reviews and the ratings were mostly 5 Stars and I decided to give Mr Shade (Christian) a fair-go. Christian was easy to engage with, what you see is what you get - sincere, approachable, helpful and responsive -5 Star service. He guided me in making a final choice of umbrella, no push but laying out options and the different features (and pricing). The $$ difference was quite substantial for what I was contemplating. I have had no less than 5 umbrellas previously all dusted and binned! and so I was wary of the claim to Baser’s quality and make. I took the plunge…. cantilever umbrella with the full works. I was pleasantly delighted when the parcel arrived and I laid eyes and hands on it. The build quality is definitely a class above the market norm. The mechanical fixings and the movements are well designed. Setup is relatively easy but 2 pairs of hands needed. It’s not exactly light-light weight but stable, a good feel. The swivel is well guided by a step level and it moves easily and accurately. Likewise, the lever to raise and lower the umbrella, it’s smooth operation. “Wow, you don’t feel the burn of the sun” commented my daughter when she sat under when it was first installed. “amazing”, she said. Our previous umbrellas provided shade but does not reduce the penetrating UV, but the first impression with Baser’s was very positive indeed. Personally, I love the design and construct of the umbrella base and secure. It informs me that it is well engineered for its purpose. Seems insignificant but the base determines if the umbrella will remain stable under a windy condition and it is showing its ability to do so.

Final verdict, the Baser is a great buy - pre-purchase communication (5-Star) quality of build (5-Star), design (5-Star), ease of use (5-Star)… reliability/durability/longetivity (to be determined - may be if someone checks in after 6-9months, I will provide a after use review)

After a lot of research to find a sun parasol which could cope with gusty winds on our balcony and give good sun protection in a limited space we discovered the Baser website. It was clear and informative with lots of advice and product information. We chose the 3 metre crank parasol. Ordering was so straightforward and delivery was super quick. We were delighted with the quality of the product. It is so well made and looks really attractive. The base with the sandbags takes up very little room and it certainly does its job, holding the umbrella in place in quite breezy conditions. We had some problems fixing the base, entirely our fault, but contacted Baser who responded instantly with a little video made specially to show us what to do. We were overwhelmed with that level of customer care. We cannot praise this company too highly. They produce a very high end product with a superb level of service which is hard to find these days. We love this parasol which has been designed with such care and attention to detail. It is an exceptional product and we cannot recommend it highly enough. If you decide to order from Baser you will not fail to be impressed.

I'm very satisifed with my baser product - it's practical, nice and sturdy. Furthermore, interaction with the supplier has also been a positive experience.

I have been a repeat Baser customer for a number of years, starting out with a parasol base and sandbags and adding further bags and bases as time went on.

The product quality has always been excellent - the bases are sturdy and tough and able to hold up parasols and also rotary lines with ease and withstand the elements without any issues.

We bought a pair of sandbags a number of years ago to originally hold up a moderate size parasol and these bags are still in perfect condition even to this day and we still use them to add extra weight to the larger parasol base if it's a bit more breezy. The material ensures the bags are rugged and have been left out in the rain and cold weather without any problems. And the fact that we are still using the original bags to this day speaks to the quality of the materials and production.

The bags are easy to manoeuvre about meaning that you can easily relocate any shade as the day goes on - and given that you can position the bags as needed you can always reposition or add more weight to one side if the wind starts to pick up.

Customer service has been exceptional on the few occasions I have been in touch about product support or with general queries I've always had a quick and courteous response. A shout-out to Christian who has always been incredibly helpful!

I'll definitely be keeping my business with Baser for future purchases. Although the excellent quality has meant that we've never had to replace anything, the freedom of being able to move to larger parasols or have an additional parasol over the garden and one by our outdoor garden furniture has meant we've expanded to more bases and sandbags. We've also used a base for a rotary line as well and being able to position that around the garden and follow the sun has meant we're not limited to drying clothes as the sun shifts. So I've no doubt we'll be looking at further items in the near future. They've also expanded to parasols themselves which look great. If they're representative of the same quality as the bases/bags then we will definitely look to pick up a new parasol from Baser!

Ich habe für meinen Balkon den Baser Sonnenschirmständer bestellt ( 2Fuß mit 25kg Sandsack) echt genial !! Das Design und der Ständer sind genau DAS was ich gesucht hatte. Lieben Dank an die Designer/Ingenieure, ich bin mega glücklich 🙂 Minimalistisch schick und geschmackvoll (das liebe ich) und endlich ein Design außerhalb der Amazon Tristesse. Von mir gibt's beide Daumen hoch.

Parasolfoden kom dagen efter den var bestilt. Den er så enkel og funktionel at det er en fornøjelse. At den så også kan holde parasollen uden den vælter er bare et ekstra plus.
Og til vinter bliver den skilt ad og lagt væk. Helt igennem et lækkert produkt.

Best product ever to hide from the sun!
My kids love to sit on the sandbags - they invite the kids to sit on to put on their socks or take of their shoes!
Furthermore, it is easy to move around, its pretty and you dont hurt your feets if you accidentally hit it :)

Ein Produkt, das wirklich zu empfehlen ist. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Säcke sollten zwei Tragelaschen haben. Für ältere Menschen wäre das sehr hilfreich.
