Took car in for a service on Saturday and was attended to by J Daste who was relieving from Sydney he went through was needed to be done and that he would also check wheel alignment etc. He had tried to contact us as he had also found the battery needed to be replaced - unfortunately my wife's phone was on the blink and we didn't get the call. We arrived to pick the vehicle up and he explained he had replaced the battery also and offered to put the other one back if we were not happy - we were very pleased he had done what was necessary. This man was on his own on Saturday morning and did a great job and offered great customer service. Ross Mackaway

Despite being understaffed, Julian, the stand-in manager at MyCar, Forster, did an excellent job of servicing my Nissan XTrail. Rather than rush through and possibly overlook items, he actually found that the engine air filter and spark plugs needed replacing. The car is running noticeably better. Many thanks Julian (hope I spelled your name correctly)

Everything was done very, just as I asked.

I booked my car online and paid for service this was done a week before the service date. I then received multiple calls on the service data to change my booking as they had double booked. I obliged and changed my booking for the Saturday, on the way to my booking on the Saturday which is 30 minutes from my house I get a call when I am almost there saying the system is down I would need to rebook. I then booked it for the following Tuesday, I dropped my car of on the Tuesday at 8.30 then at 9.30 I get a call to say they don’t have the parts for my car which was an oil filter and none of your suppliers have one. I stated this is the 3rd time I’ve booked the car in why are the parts not there, please find one the person called me back in 2 minutes and said he has located one. I then call to see if car is ready I am then informed they are unable to reset my service light and it’s not part of the basic service anyway. He said he tried manually and with the computer. I have had basic service with mycar plenty of times before and my service light is always reset, makes no sense that this wouldn’t be reset. I reset myself manually when I left. To be honest I am unsure if oil was changed or the oil filter was replaced as they had been very quick to find one. Also the team member that served me seemed to try his best to fix the situation as he stated his manger was a way. I have had many cars serviced at Mycar Forster in the past and have been very complimentary of the previous management but I won’t be going back there.

The manager is never there, other guys seem ok but not really helpful. Had car serviced and asked for another little thing to be done. Took 8 visits to finally get little job done.

Even though My Car was short staffed the day my car got serviced they had it ready on time.

It was bad I booked the time but couldn’t get service on the day booked in and again got other date to come in but didn’t fix on that day too. It was urgent and need to run for other place. Poor staffing.

The old cliché "going beyond expectations" was proved to still be current. I needed a tyre repaired and while it was relatively minor, it was completed within 5 minutes with no charge, just a request to remember them when i needed tyres.
And the job was done by the manager. How could I choose anyone else in the future. Thanks mycar for restoring "expectations" when it comes to customer service!

Very good service the manager Sam goes above and beyond for me whenever I come in.

I got the online special - $100 off a log book service which was done well and promptly.
The only downside of the experience was I had to pay at the time of booking online but then when I collected my car, I was told I needed to pay an additional fee for online booking. I said that is not right and that should be on head office. The mechanic said he will call head office and if I go back in through the week, he would reimburse me.
I didn’t bother to go back. I paid cash. But what if I had no money on me then and there?
