I had a really good experience with My Law Matters. The team was friendly, professional, and always kept me updated throughout the process. Communication was clear, and everything was handled smoothly, which made buying my home much less stressful. I'm really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable solicitor. Thank you to the whole team!

The worst service from what are suppose to be professionals. We used this solicitors when buying our house and would never use again. We had to chase everything. Massive delays with no real explanation every time we contacted our point of contact a lady named Manleen the blame was just passed around with no real resolution.

After we finally completed we was owed cash back which was dealt with through the solicitor. The amount of cash back was a drop in the ocean compared to the house deposit, solicitor fees, stamp duty etc.. which they demanded there and then even though really we had 14 days after completion to pay our stamp duty. I contacted Manleen a couple of days after completion to asked how we go about the cash back. Was told that in a couple of days after all funds cleared off account she would contact us to organise transferring the cash back. A week later no contact, I emailed and emails where ignored. Until almost 2 weeks later I sent another email and finally got a phone call from Manleen. She never contacted us for our bank statements after the funds had cleared so if I had not chased we probably would still be waiting for this.

The money eventually came back to us but was short by £35. Apparently this was another fee that was added and was included on our completion statement which Manleen emailed across again to “remind us” luckily I had the original completion statement infront of me which had no mention of the cash back on it at all. Manleen had edited the statement and sent it to make it look like it was on there. When I said I have the original in front of my that was sent before completing she didn’t know what to say, as she knew she had just added it on there and then so more lies told.

I have asked for a email to make a formal complaint as our whole experience with this firm has been terrible and unprofessional and still am awaiting the email for this.

This company insist on a up front fee of £400 before they even begin any work which we paid, then expect everything else to be sent in one there and then just before completion when certain fees such as the stamp duty we was well within our rights to send at a later date, but we followed their instructions and sent it all. It seemed like the minute we was owed a bit back we had to jump through hoops and chase it.

Conveyancing services: Transfer of property to new owner. Took slightly longer than I was expecting, but the service was professional and easy to use.

Made a claim for compensation from Lufthansa which was paid on the 26th of April to this company.

Two weeks later still no update and really concerned that i provided my bank details to there partner company.

No response to emails and will be making a complaint of fraud.

Please don’t use they are clearly not legitimate and I’ve now lost £520.

The 3 is because it took a very long time for My Law Matters/Fentimans to address the problem. However when Raja Atik Khan took over matters changed dramatically. He is more than worthy of a 5 star rating. Despite many difficulties, together we resolved the matter. He was courteous at all times, professional in all things and was persistent. Thank you Raja for all that you did

Please be careful. This company is trying to take all money from people they could.

Absolutely atrocious service. Had a flight delay claim ongoing for 2 years, never any contact from MLM, had to ring only to be told the claim had been dismissed by the Judge. Have seen no evidence of such. Poor customer care & service.

Been great so far actually we needed to change solicitor in between due to the lenders requirements. On the first occasion we was worried thats its gonna delay & ruin everything, but they been great especially "Neha". They have sorted everything themselves and made our life easier.

I was able to talk with my solicitors every step of the way. They replied always quickly. The whole process was smooth.

Far too slow. Taken 7 weeks to request information pack from the leaseholders so now won’t complete before the mortgage deal ends. Awful

I engaged this company in December 25 for a conveyancing on a mortgage They have taken over £800 off me a refuse to contact me back or give updates on progression. They will not return calls or emails even when I ask for senior management I’m ignored

We chose these solicitors as they were recommended by our mortgage advisor at the time. One the whole they gave me a mixed bag of feelings. At first I was frustrated because it was taking so long, but then it all wrapped up pretty quickly.
They were the first solicitors I have ever used to I cannot compare them to anyone else. The quote they provided us with was cheap and affordable compared to local ones. I was not sure what to expect at first, and there were some months where we did not have much communication at all, but everything worked out fine in the end. The final quote was quite a bit more, but the sale took longer than expected and there was some extra work.

We first came to look around the property we wanted to buy in June 2025. Completion did not happen until March 2026. It took absolutely ages to go through and the process was long. I think the chain further up from us was very big. However, we got there in the end! I absolutely love my flat and thank you to My Law Matters for making this happen. The process during the final few weeks in contrast, went very fast, and exchange to completion only took 1 week. We have had feedback from others since the sale that our solicitors were very good.

I cannot complain about the work but the legal department need to keep us informed maybe on a weekly basis, either by a phone call or email. The portal used for this company was only used to upload documents there was no communication until I rang the office to chase staff. You have paid for a portal that you not yet used adequately. This was my biggest frustration no follow up calls or emails.

When my previous conveyancer was closed down, I was recommended My Law Matters by my mortgage advisor. They took over where I left off before and pushed my purchase through very quickly. I was surprised as my previous solicitor was very slow. Kareena dealt with my case and was speedy and professional throughout. Their costs are also reasonable and they give you a breakdown of all fees. Overall I was happy with the service.
