Received part of my order today. Express delivery and well packaged. Melissa has been very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Both my husband and I are extremely happy with his brand new ps5 console.

Scammers??

I shopped here for years then suddenly this year they suspended my last order after I had already paid half of it and said they'll re-activate it after I give them photo ID, credit card number and proof of my address... I said no because scammers ask for the same thing and why now after so many years I been shopping here?

Didn't want to risk it so I asked for a refund.

Never shopping there again.

They might do it to you after you've almost paid off your order!
Imagine spending months paying for something only for them to suspend your order so they can get your personal info.

I would give half a star if possible…

I would give half a star if possible there products are overpriced then 98% of products don’t come from New Zealand and then if you lose employment which is out of your control they take two weeks to refund a third of what you have paid for bloody rip off

I was very lucky to receive all my paid…

I was very lucky to receive all my paid goods before xmas,even though i missed cut off date for postage...One of my products was unavailable ,and i was sent an updated and quality version.
Melissa was lovely and my emails were answered within 2 days.

They are full of excuses and full of bs…

They are full of excuses and full of bs my partner keeps ringing to ask them where our product is the say all these excuses waiting for tracking number oh it will be delivered this day or that day this is a red flag company and scammers it's been 14 weeks still nothing

So now theyve told me my item has not…

So now theyve told me my item has not been sent after saying it had been sent all this time. They said they’d refund me AND SURPRISE SURPRISE NO REFUND! Im waiting for $990 refund. Im on the phone now to my bank to see if they can help with fraud and theft. Or at least lodge something against this company. Im also
seeking legal
advice from community law. This is pathetic.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

These guys used to be great but now they’re useless, im owed $500 for products they keep saying with be “shipped next week” i think they’re about to declare bankruptcy judging by all the reviews from the last month.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam! They do not send products oe refund you and stop answering once you realize what’s going on. They need to be shut down! People including me have lost so much money. I thought they were layby nz another company. I’m going to try and get these guys stopped with legals if I can!

Thieves

I’ve been owed a refund since Jan 8 and they told me it would take 7-14 business days. I did not have it after that time so I began emailing them to sort it out. For a couple of weeks they were replying saying something about it bouncing back (none of what they were saying made any sense), and now they are just completely ignoring me. It has been over a month now and I’m getting no response and am starting to think they have no intention of giving me back my money. I would suggest staying well away from this company. I have contacted the disputes tribunal to see what I can do about this.

Camping tent not available at end of service, money not fully refunded.

I paid for a camping tent and two single beds, expecting to have this by Christmas for our camp in January. I paid a sum of $495, at the end of 11 month payment when it was paid fully, I received an email to say that they could not source the supplier. They sent an alternative to either buy another tent or get a gift card to another company for electronics. Note that the website still was promoting this tent. I asked for refund. They said it would take 10 to 14 days. When the refund came through, I was only refunded $418. It is noted that they would have made interest on money I had sent over the last 11 months. I emailed back and was told that it may take a few more days. A week later still no refund. I believe has broken Fair Trading Act rules of NZ. It is assumed that the goods should have been set aside once the laybuy started. It is also assumed that if the items are not available, it should not be advertised on the website. Fortunately, I was able to get better deals for the same items on NZonSale website.

Poor customer service and experience

I used mylayby.co.nz years ago and it was amazing, This time however it's been an absolutely horrible experience with extremely disappointing customer service.

I ordered a PS5 for my husband for Christmas in January 2023, Paid it off all year and it was supposed to be delivered on the 14th of December 2023. After it was paid off I found out I missed the Christmas delivery dates by two weeks. I've emailed countless times to find out where it is and what's going on with it. It's nearly a month later 12th January 2024 and I still have no idea where it is or if I'll ever find out or get a full refund, I'm out of pocket $990.00 and have nothing to show for it nor a resolution.

Will NEVER recommend Mylayby.co.nz or use it EVER AGAIN.

Starting to feel like I've been scammed.

I am so disappointed in the service I…

I am so disappointed in the service I recieved. I paid off quite a substantial order as a christmas gift. I paid off the order by the christmas cut off date, after following up due to my items not arriving by the estimated delievery date, i recieved an email stating that my item was due to ship the following week (the first week of december) it is now a week before christmas, my order has not arrived, Im out of pocket $700+ and now ill have to find the money to pay for the play station 5 in store. I have emailed relentlessly with no response. I have had no other choice but to lodge a claim through the disputes tribunal. I have ordered items through this company before and had no issue but now would not recommend this company at all.

The worst customer service.

They have the absolute worst customer service. Paid for my vouchers, and told that they would arrive 29 November. No communication until after that. They then avoided all of my emails and I never got to speak to an actual human. I lodged a claim with the disputes tribunal and I also wrote to fair go.
Three weeks after they said I would get a refund when THEY could not produce the vouchers and it arrived this morning.

Im currently trying to get them to cancel my current order with them as they are terrible and unreliabale however they are not responding to that request either.

I placed 2 laybys the first was items…

I placed 2 laybys the first was items for my grandsons for Christmas i paid off layby in October, i got a email saying they were getting my items ready for delivery
But it never came i have emailed them relentlessly they finally got back to me saying part of my layby was not in stock and instead would substitute it with a jbhifi voucher, when i said NO it was toys for my grandchildren i want my money back they said they would refund but its now December i havent got my refund and still not the other part of my layby
Its concerning as the only way to contact them is through email (that they don't always answer) as there phones are cut off
I feel like they are taking peoples money with no intention of sending products
As they are still showing items as available on there site that are apparently out of stock
I have had to take this further i have never had to do this to a business before so disappointing
And very worrying as i have paid the second layby off now and i feel the same will happen with this one
Please keep away from this company

Took a long time

(I have upgraded my stars from one to three, I have received my apple pen and it took some time but I have got it, if I receive my vouchers before Christmas I would consider that another 1/2 star, but I couldn't go above 3.1/2 as it was far too long, well past the delivery dates given when I ordered, all my emails were answered, so I have upgraded my stars to reflect this new development. Sadly though I have used this company for a lot of years it has hindered Christmas due to the delays, I don't think I will be back too stressful being worried about when I will receive order).

Original Post --> 4 Weeks and still no item could have purchased this myself from Apple would have taken 5 days for delivery, every week without fail I got an email for payment now I’ve paid off can’t seem to get any answers about where this is, will never shop with this company again.

Do not used this company paid items in full on 4th October, it is now 17th November although i recieved some items, rest have not been sent. Many emails with replys from: they are 100% dispatched by end of day to will be dispatched by end of week to now no replys and no product. My daughter had no birthday gift and all i get is sorry. Now im just getting no reply and phone lines have been cut. Last email i asked for refund so i can at least buy gifts for xmas, still no replys. Will ve happy to take this review down if someone actually resolves this issue with actually following through.
Update 2 months now and no one will reply to my emails item out of stock apparently,but sill no refund in site.

Don't buy from this company they are rude and disrespectful when you try to cancel your order from them, they say free delivery but at checkout your charge $60. Please stay away from this place they are a scam

Paid for items apparently not in stock but still advertising. Still waiting for refund after a month of no deliveries and another month waiting for refund. Customer service tragic. No replies. Do not use this company it has gone downhill

Got a watch for nephew last month on his birthday.
It was on discount but it has costed me more as it stopped working and I have to get him another one now lol. But it's not their fault as what can you expect at this price. Anyways, thanks
