This is my second time ordering from here and the dresses are absolutely lovely! I needed mine in time for an event, and the lovely Sabrina was so sweet and made sure it arrived on time. Honestly, the customer service is the best, Sabrina is the loveliest, and I really appreciated her help! 💕

The worst experience ordering dresses online. I was buying 2 dresses for my sister in laws wedding which was a destination wedding. Package took over 3,5 weeks to arrive despite costumer service (Sabrina) saying it’ll be a week. I’ve got both dresses last minute, damaged packaging on top of that they looked awfully cheap quality and nothing like the picture, wrongly sized, faulty advertising at its finest. I emailed that as it is a destination wedding and it came last minute I have no time to return before coming back home. They didn’t want to cover return expenses, they told me I needed to not only cover that but also import tax. I never got a refund, not partial not full - just some attitude over an email and -£90 on my account for 2 dresses I would never wear not even for a night out never mind a wedding.

So many issues with this brand where do I start.
1. The size guide is awful. Ordered small ended up being massive on me.. dress was dragging on the floor. Mind you my weight and height is very much average. I’m not petite or anything. I also followed the size guide too.
2. The quality of the dress is awful. In the photo looks so much better.. good quality satin. In person, I cannot say the same. The material was horrendous and looks cheap… smth I could have purchased off Temu.
3. The return policy is ridiculous. Forget the “14 day return guarantee” this don’t mean anything. They ask you if it’s worn or not.. how else is one meant to know if the dress is good fit without trying it on once? No other brand I have purchased from has such a stupid and unfair requirement. Literally tried it on once to see if it fitted and now I can’t claim a refund. Absolutely ridiculous.

£55 gone down drain. Cannot get a return or was meant to be my for my graduation now I have to rush buying a dress for next week.

Save your money guys.

DO NOT HU FROM THIS COMPANY. OVER PRICED, BASED IN CHINA, ITEM TOOK 3 WEEKS TO ARRIVE AND WHEN IT ARRIVED IT WAS THE CHEAPEST MATERIAL AND IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE ITEM LISTED ON THE WEBSITE. WHEN I DID CONTACT THEM FOR A REFUND THEY DO NOT RESPOND.

Genuinely so upset and disappointed, dealt with someone called sabrina. Do not risk purchasing from this scam website not only do they completely take your money they do not allow u to get a full refund iv spent over 70 pounds trying to get a refund only to get a email a month later saying they require further ‘customs’ to receive the parcel. Genuinely very upsetting as a student that just wanted a graduation dress

Ordered a dress for my graduation from here, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. I couldn’t decide which colour so I ordered all 3; the dress itself is gorgeous, I love the details and the sleeves and fit were perfect on me. Despite being so indecisive, the customer services rep, Sabrina, made this the easiest process for me. She was so so sweet, and very efficient in helping me for such an important milestone. Without her help, I really don’t think I would’ve been satisfied with my choices. Honestly cannot recommend enough; the pieces themselves are very true to size, and can easily be slightly tailored if you’re short like myself. Again, cannot be more happy with my purchase and I’m so glad I chose Mystic Modesty.

Did not receive my parcel (there was an issue
with the courier) however customer service was amazing! Sabrina helped me through the process and was so kind. Replies were quick and my worries were quickly put at ease 🫶🏻

My niece mistakenly ordered a dress without my consent. I emailed asking mystic modesty to advise. I was very promptly emailed back by Sabrina, she was lovely, had proper etiquette and cancelled my order and provided me a full refund.

Very efficient and very understanding.

Awful experience. Bought 2 dresses for my sister in laws wedding - as I haven’t ordered from here before I wanted to make sure to have a back up dress option so I bought 2 different ones, thinking I’d send one back. They arrived super late, only being able to view one of them before the wedding. I am absolutely baffed by the audacity to charge £40 or £50 for a dress SO low quality. It looks like a £5 dress. Looks nothing like the pictures, arrived in damaged packaging. Had to pay for the fee to return which wasn’t cheap as it’s international - and then expected to pay customs fees if you wanted a refund. Paying £37 to return a dress you never wore and never will. Honestly save your time and money. Never again

“100% cotton” on the website, “100% polyester” in the label. Absolutely poppycock nonsense explanation by email (I was informed it was an error which would be corrected on the earth website- the website is unchanged) and items returned for refund were simply sent back. I must advise you avoid this company and I certainly wouldn’t buy from them again. The clothes look appealing but it’s all a lie. What a disappointment.

I should have read the reviews before placing an order few months ago - worst decision I’ve ever made.

Paid £43 for a batwing maxi dress, delivery took 3 weeks (a week after my event) contrary to the 5-7 days on their website. When it eventually came, I wished I never received it because it made me even more disappointed. Material/ sizing were an absolute joke that I immediately initiated a return/refund without thinking twice.

Although the customer service rep Sabrina was quite swift with replies, I was told I’ll either need to pay off pocket for the inter country return (they claim to be based in Netherlands while I live in the UK) as well as custom charges OR I keep the item and they refund half of the price. To be fair, I felt they were quite considerate but I regret making the purchase in the first place. I got the half refund and an extra rag for my kitchen costing £21.50.

The worst!!! Please don’t waste your money.

They sell dresses that look nothing like the pictures (the quality is a joke) and you have to pay for shipping fees as they are based in the Netherlands. So you’d be out of pocket even trying to get a refund. £40 down the drain.

Order took 3 weeks longer than stated on the website and the quality is genuinely horrible. I bought an abaya that’s one size yet it’s huge. I paid 60 pounds for an abaya I wouldn’t take for free because the material is so horrible. I emailed customer service and they replied fast but said my order may take longer and they are looking into it. No help at all. Any 5 star reviews are completely fake. Please don’t buy anything from this website or else you’ll spend 30 pounds trying to return it and loose money on a rag they are trying to call an abaya. I can’t believe Muslims who are trying to sell hijabs and abayas would pull crap like this.

This company does not deserve 1 star! Awful I placed my order 22nd Feb 2025 and today the tracking says that i need to contact sender (20th March 2025) I asked for a refund and Sabrina a customer.service advisor gave me a reply saying its on its way this was over a week ago. I didn't think to check reviews as the site looked fine I also found the item I ordered is alot cheaper from other websites like Shein.

At first, I wasn’t sure about ordering because I hadn’t heard of Mystic Modesty before, but I’m so glad I did! The dress I got is even more beautiful in real life—the fabric feels really high quality, and the fit is perfect. I was a bit worried about sizing, but the size guide was spot on.
Also, a quick shout-out to customer service, they replied so fast and were really friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, which makes shopping here even better.
I already know this won’t be my last order! 💕

Partner bought me an abaya for Eid but it was not only overpriced for a piece of fabric with no inner lining or extra material like all abayas have to help conceal your figure. Instead it’s a very thin flimsy material that is so crinkly and hard to manage, on top of that delivery was so late over 2 weeks and packaging was disgusting cheap considering how long we waited and the prices we paid. Don’t buy. Extremely disappointing service and dirt poor quality

Scam website. They’re using pictures from a French website called ‘Jeans Industry’. Their customer service responses were quick until I showed them screenshots of the website they’re stealing pictures from. Then they stopped replying completely. The dresses are horrible quality and DO NOT COME from the Netherlands! They are shipped straight from China!!! - this is what it showed when I was tracking my item and it took 3 weeks to arrive! Don’t order from this website.

Upon ordering a few days later, I realised that I ordered the wrong size. Customer service Sabrina was so kind to arrange for me to send out the right size for free even tho the earlier wrong size was all ready in transit. They let me keep both of them and asked me to give the wrong size to charity.

If I could rate this company a BF ZERO I would, terrible delivery timing. Disgusting material cheap like paper.

Unfortunately, I did not check reviews of the company as the website looked trustworthy. I ordered a Satin Maxi Dress in Burgundy for £35.

First of all, I never got a confirmation email - I had to email customer service, who, to their credit were very nice and responded fairly quickly, provided a tracking link. Delivery was supposed to be within 5-7 days and it took around 12 days.

When the dress arrived, the ‘satin’ material felt more like paper - like it was made from the same material as some cheap Halloween costume. In the image, the dress looked soft and flowy, but in reality, it looked extremely stiff and cheap.

The colour was most definitely not ‘burgundy’ - the image on the website showed a deep, dark red whereas the dress was an extremely bright and violent shade.

When I tried to return it, I was told I must pay shipping and duties to return it to the Netherlands. The cost was nearly half of the dress itself, so I decided not to return it.

Instead, I’ve given it to my younger cousins to cut up and use as doll clothes - unfortunately it’s probably going to be uncomfortable for the dolls too.
