MyTooStore est à éviter tout comme…

MyTooStore est à éviter tout comme ManoMano car ils nous ont envoyé un taille-haie ne fonctionnant pas. Puis lorsqu'on les contacte, plutôt que de réparer ou remplacer le produit ou le rembourser, comme tout commerce sérieux le ferait (conformément au droit), ils vous envoient et se défaussent sur une liste de réparateurs qui chacun déclare ne pas être concerné. Ensuite, après les avoir recontactés faute de solution, ils tergiversent des mois en vous demandant diverses pièces. Puis au final vous réclament à nouveau des frais de port quasiment du double de la 1ere fois pour vous envoyer un appareil de remplacement (dont le fonctionnement n'est d'ailleurs pas assuré vu leur peu de sérieux). Alors que pour mémoire et conformément au droit, je cite : "L’application de la garantie légale de conformité doit avoir lieu sans frais pour l’acheteur. Le vendeur ne peut demander au consommateur de payer des frais pour la réparation ou le remplacement du bien défectueux, y compris les frais de renvoi du bien ou tout autre frais concernant la réparation (pièces de rechange, main d'œuvre...)." Ensuite ManoMano vous demande une nième pièce à savoir une vidéo pour ensuite vous dire qu'il faut payer (à nouveau) les frais de port et qu'il vous remboursera sur facture (alors que nous sommes particuliers donc non éditeurs de factures) et que surtout c'est légalement bien au vendeur de payer ces 2e frais de port pour un matériel envoyé par lui complètement défectueux dès l'origine et non à l'acquéreur en attente d'un produit "fonctionnel" dans le cadre de "la garantie légale de conformité de 2 ans" et alors que ManoMano peut directement régler son vendeur peu sérieux et hors la loi à savoir MyToolStore s'il le souhaite.

Donc ManoMano et MyToolStore, non seulement envoient du matériel défectueux, mais plus encore ne respectent pas la loi et font perdre des mois à tenter de faire remplacer l'appareil, frais de port inclus, dans le cadre de la garantie légale de conformité. Après plus d'1 an d'attente ce litige n'est toujours pas réglé.

Enfin ils font systématiquement effacer les messages d'information que nous écrivons pour éviter que d'autres acheteurs puissent se faire tromper, et alors que nous disposons de toutes les preuves point par point de ce que nous affirmons, Trustpilot quant à lui efface automatiqument nos messages de mise en garde sur simple signalement de MyToolStore et Mano Mano, on peut donc plus que douter de l'impartialité de Trustpilot qui prend manifestement le parti des vendeurs alors que nous disposons de toutes les preuves de ce que l'on affirme.

MyToolStore et Mano Mano sont donc fortement à déconseiller. Réf M201125140061

First order canceled after 2 weeks

First order canceled after 2 weeks. No explanation. Item still available for sale 2nd order canceled 2 days later. Again no explanation. I won't be back and sugest that you not allow them to waist your time either.

Great tool price and good delivery

Got a great price on a tool during Black Friday. Item shipped and received within a week. All came as expected. They are powered by Toolup.com which is fairly trusted. The item shipped from Toolup.com actually.

Avoid this seller

Avoid this seller. I placed an order and they charged my credit card. Ten days later they cancelled my order without any cause or explanation. I checked their website today and they are still offering this item but they have raised the price.

Pathetic Customer service!!!!! - Milwaukee M12 Heated Jacket and batteries

Ordered a Milwaukee M12 Heated Jacket, a charger and 2 batteries for a Christmas gift on 11/27/17 (to be opened on or after Christmas day 12/25/17). 1 of the batteries is bad - which was obviously shipped bad from redtool.com. I contacted them in early January to let them know they shipped me a bad battery. They told me that because of "timeframe of the order" they are not responsible for the problem and that I need to contact Milwaukee direct and see if they can help with the issue. On their website they state "Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us." - Don't believe it; they want nothing to do with you after they make the sale. I will NEVER buy from them again and would highly recommend you stay away from this store!!!

Scam Artists

They charged my credit card back in July and never sent the items. Phoning them was useless; no answer just recorded message. I had to recoup my money through disputed charge with my credit card company.

I see the scam artists are back at it, as I received an automatic email from them describing their Christmas specials.

Con artists to avoid a all costs.

very very slow

Took mytoolstore 8 working days, after being paid, to dispatch two simple time clocks where the website stated it would take 3-5 working days.
Email replies also slow, 2 to 3 days.

If you can find your product at another well known and fast service website, avoid this one.

Does Mytoolstore.com even exist?

It's been a month since I placed my order. Other than the automatic acknowledgment e-mail, I have seen no evidence that this business actually exists. Order not shipped, no response to e-mail inquiries, no one answers the phone. As another reviewer said, it's a black hole. Or an outright fraud. I should have known better than to trust anything located in Vegas!

Ripped off and made me mad!...

I placed an order over 2 months ago. After 2 weeks I called them and got this "ON BACK ORDER" crap from them. They promised I'd get my order within a few days.. now when I call there isn't an answer from them.
From what I've seen they have ripped of a lot of people and closed their doors.

No response to email and never answer phone

Obviously, the positive reviews are left by owners. I placed a small order (less than $30) and got automated email indicating they would let me know when item ships. A week later, no email so I submitted an inquiry on their site. Got an automated response acknowledging inquiry but never an answer to question. I tried calling several times and no one ever answered the phone. Looks like this company is going out of business. Don't place any orders!

Crooks

I purchased a tool for almost $300 from this website using paypal. Even though there was no indication that the item was not in stock, I received an email a day after placing the order saying that it was out of stock and backordered from the manufacturer, with a 2 week lead time. The email said to reply and say whether I accepted this delay (and further down on the SAME email it said "please do not reply to this email). I replied that the lead time was ok, and my card was charged. After 2 weeks, I asked for an update via email, and got no response. After another week I tried calling, and none of the extensions on their phone system ever picked up or returned voicemails. After trying to call and email any number or email address I could find and getting no response, I disputed the charge on Paypal. They never responded to the dispute within their 10 day time limit, and Paypal refunded me my money. I have to conclude that the people who run this company are either completely incompetent, or complete crooks, but probably a combination of the two. To this day, the only correspondence I've ever had with them is the automated email I received about the back order. Their website is still operational, and as far as I can tell you can still place orders on it, but if you do, you are sending your money and credit card information to a black hole.

No Response

Ordered equipment on 7/14/16. Got a conformation of the order and that's it.
Called the telephone number listed 702-871-7178. Got an answering machine saying to connect press the stated options. Pressed all options,
telephone rings, no answer, tried ten times.
They have my credit card number.
What's next.

Unacceptable delays in shipping

In April I found myself in need of a specialty tablesaw stand system manufactured by Rousseau for an upcoming millwork installation project. After much searching, I settled on MyToolStore.com because the listed pricing was comparable to other suppliers, however MyToolStore.com carried each of the the three items I desired which their competitors did not. In the interest of keeping the order together, I placed my order on 4/6/16. Knowing that the items are specialty, I inquired if the items were in stock. Sales reps informed me that the items wee not in stock, but would ship directly from the manufacturer in 10 days to 3 weeks. Knowing that my installation would be beginning in mid-May, this would allow ample time to receive my shipment.

After several emails back and forth with a customer service representative, regarding delays in shipping I was finally informed that the item shipped on 5/13/16 (+5 weeks from placing order) and I was provided a tacking number. I received 1 of 3 items ordered yesterday on 5/18/16 (+6 weeks from placing order.) After contacting the customer service representative I was informed that there are further delays and the remaining two items would not be shipping until next week. The items ordered are part of a system designed to be used together, so the one item that I have received is pretty much useless until the remaining items arrive. If I am to believe MyToolStore.com's estimated shipping date, which is hard to believe, my order will be fulfilled around 6/3/16 (+8 weeks from placing order.) In the meantime, I have now had to make significant arrangements to have my full sized cabinet saw (~600 pounds!) delivered and brought into my jobsite.

Even without my order being completed, I would not recommend purchasing any items from MyToolStore.com. I definitely will never place another order with them!

They sold me something that was not in stock.

I purchased a product from their web store for a present and it was not really in stock. Of course they did not notify me of this until a week later when it was too late to order a replacement from another store and still have the gift be on time. Very bad experience, will never buy from them again.

Worst customer service

I have ordered a tool case but unfortunately it was not what I really expected, since the product photo in product catalog was not very clear, so that I called the customer service to return it, the lady started to yell at me and said the owner would talk to me, she did apologize later on but still it was not a nice behavior. Then the owner called me and said he would charge me 15% restocking plus shipping back is my responsibility, because, as he claims, it is the manufacturer policy, so I asked him for a proof, he refused and after 2 days he came back and said not 15% but $15 (my tool case was $300).

This is first time that I buy tools and return them & I am charged to restocking and returning.

1- Your website states that only certain items are subject to restocking fees, that means not everything. However, when I checked out it did not state that this item has restocking fees.
2- You were trying to charge me 15% (the price was $300), I asked you to provide a proof from the manufacturer about this charge but you refused and said I could check my self with them. You provided this letter only after a submitted a dispute through Norton, who guarantee shopping on your website.
3- Other shopping website, such as Amazon, don't charge restocking if I bought this item from them nor for returning shipping.
4- You promised in your reply to follow up with me the following day but you did not, it was just a way to pretend you are solving the problem to save your company image without really solving it.

Thanks for your review, and please accept our apology for your negative experience. I also personally apologize for the initial miscommunication about the $15.00 fee. The moment I received clarity from the Manufacturer I emailed you with a signed copy of their response, which I am happy to honor. I admit my mistake, and hope you understand it was an honest mistake that has since been corrected.

The item that you ordered was a specialty field service case that is not stocked regularly, per our website. Because we source specialty products directly from the Manufacturer, we are at their mercy when it comes to returns. I hope the copy of the signed letter from our Manufacturer confirms for you that this is the case. That being said, I am very happy to arrange for your return myself, by email. I will follow up with you tomorrow.

We strive to be transparent about our return policies by having them in our footer, in the terms and conditions link in our checkout, and we invite customers to call us or our suppliers to fully understand our policies before submitting their order. Only a small portion of our overall inventory is subject to re-stock fees, such as specialty items. Again, this does not excuse the poor customer service, and I sincerely apologize for it. I hope to make the return process as painless as possible.
