I had an abdominoplasty with liposuction, with Mr Nakul Patel. Nakul is an incredibly skilled surgeon and also a lovely person, who has been very caring and helpful throughout my tummy tuck journey. He was honest about what could be achieved, always with my safety and recovery in mind and has kindly and patiently worked around my medical problems.

My results have truly exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with my tummy and the care I’ve received from Nakul and his team (who speak very highly of him) and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

The best surgeon, first class treatment and painless surgery. I have had seven procedures which have required stitches. Mr Patel is such an expert that I have no visible scars. He puts you at ease and fully explains your aftercare. I would highly recommend Mr Patel, he is such a kind caring consultant.

Mr Patel explained everything in relation to my treatment in simple and easy to understand language and even showed us a video of the procedure so we knew what to expect. He always showed empathy to how I was feeling and I never felt like just a “number”. The treatment and care I received both pre and post my surgery was exceptional and he helped me get through a very difficult time as the bottom fell out of my world when I had my cancer diagnosis.

Mr Patel was excellent through all stages of my medical treatment. I was able to see him very promptly for an initial consultation, during which he explained clearly and sympathetically the surgery that was required for my condition. This was a stressful and uncertain time for me and so getting a surgery date so quickly after this first consultation was a great relief. Mr Patel is obviously a very skilled and knowledgeable plastic surgeon, in fact he's one of the few people qualified to perform my procedure in this part of the country. The operation was a success and I received excellent care during my stay in hospital. I also can't fault the follow-up care I've received from Mr Patel in the months following my surgery. He has been thorough, professional and caring throughout, ably supported by his PA, Victoria, who was understanding and responsive during all of our interactions.

I'd thoroughly recommend Mr Patel as a consultant. He is a master of his craft - though more importantly: he is friendly, reassuring and inspiring. He leads his team in such an admirable way that is tangible. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing and positive.

I have never faced a medical procedure so relaxed and free of nerves. I put this down to Nakul being so calm and reassuring. He explained everything is such detail that I had total confidence in his ability so there was nothing to worry about. The procedure when smoothly, recovery was quick and I am delighted with the lack of evidence of it having happened.

I was referred to Mr Patel at what was a very foreboding time due to a malignant cancer diagnosis (SCC).
However, Mr Patel’s skill, empathy and general manner saw me through this very difficult time. His patience with a nervous patient gave me confidence before, during and after the procedure. Always kind and considerate (as is his secretary!)
The time he took to explain the procedure and risks of the condition were exemplary. This was not information I “wanted” to hear but was done in such a manner that I was reassured and able to come to terms with the possible outcomes .
The procedure itself went flawlessly and his post operation attentiveness was incredibly reassuring and to me he went above and beyond.
All my family and friends are amazed at the incredible job on the operated area (temple and cheek) which is due to Mr Patel’s skill and dexterity as a surgeon. I have had the utmost respect for him and his team and feel that I am in the very best of hands.
