Chap on reception dealt with my windscreen replacement promptly. Knew I had an emergency and was stuck 3 hours away from home. Saved me hundreds in hotel costs, legend!

The technician who fitted my windscreen…
The technician who fitted my windscreen was absolutely amazing, and I cannot fault him at all. He was professional, helpful and did a great job.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the on-site manager. I was initially given incorrect information about how long the repair would take and, despite them then running significantly behind schedule, nobody contacted me to let me know.
I was managing the wait with my family, including my autistic child, so timings and communication were particularly important. Had I simply been told they were running behind, I could have planned accordingly. When I returned at the time I had been given, I discovered that my car had not even been started. The manager’s response was simply that he was sorry and that he “didn’t know” the technician was running behind. When I asked why nobody had called to let me know, I received no real response.
When I eventually returned to collect my car, more than an hour after the original collection time, the manager had gone home and left the technician to deal with everything himself.
The technician deserves 5 stars for his work and the way he handled the situation. Unfortunately, the management and customer service were extremely disappointing. Better communication, accountability and a little more consideration for customers — particularly families and those with autistic children who may rely heavily on timings and routine — would have made a huge difference.
