I was part of the original Kickstarter campaign for the Wee Stand, but ended up getting a unit with manufacturing problems causing the legs to end up with wildly different lengths, making the whole thing unstable. After an initial unsatisfactory interaction with customer support, I did write about the experience as a not-so-favourable review here. But to the defense of Noisy Clan, they reached out to me again and have been amazingly helpful and willing to make things right. Big props to them for that alone!

So it's only right that I amend this review to give it a better rating.

I'll wait for my replacement unit to arrive before I can assess the product, unencumbered by the manufacturing defect and turn this into a proper review once I've had some time to use it in practice.

For now, consider the rating as concerning the customer service and for the features I _have_ liked during the limited use I've gotten out of my faulty unit :)

Noisy Clan customer service is the best! I was so happy with my purchase of the "Circle of Fifths" that I looked into their web site. Found the "Wee Stand" and purchased it as well after watching their video. It got lost in the mail, even though tracking data had it posted all the way to my local carrier station. I casually asked if they could do anything about it and what they did was dispatch me a replacement right away.

I have it and it is as advertised. It is the coolest stand! Watch the video on their site for full details. It is absolutely brilliant.

I ordered a Wee Stand and somehow the product fell out of its packaging enroute. I emailed Noisy Clan and they immediately responded, assuring me that another would be in the mail right away. It arrived in great shape and is a wonderful product. Encouraging to find a company with such great customer service, as well as quality products.

I found out about the Decoder through Sean Daniel’s YouTube-video and ordered it directly. Although I’m a Swede and still living there, the product came relatively fast.

And I really love the product and the following book! So much fun and an excellent way of diving in to music theory! Thanks a lot for a truly brilliant product. I’m now spreading the word about you!!!

My daughter purchased the circle of fifths decoder as a present for my birthday. When the package arrived the outer envelope was wet and unfortunately the booklet was water damaged. They decoder however was unharmed as it was sealed within a separate plastic packet.

I contacted Noisy Clan directly and explained the situation and the booklet was replaced immediately. It’s a realty great well thought out product for composers and musicians alike and with the explanation booklet its an absolute gem

I was one of the Kickstarter backers so was really excited about this new stand but I couldn't get the hang of my first Wee Stand, the legs seemed to collapse at whatever height it was, then one of them snapped off and I gave up on it. Then a few months later, I contacted them via their website and got a reply the next morning. Joe was so helpful and suggested that it sounded like a manufacturing defect and they'd send me a replacement. That was Monday, my replacement arrived on Wednesday! And it is brilliant, exactly what I'd hoped the Wee Stand would be. Great product and refreshingly good customer service!

1st, I’d have paid good money just for the cool box! 😁
Watching the video is very important. A good chance I’d have broken something proceeding in my normal seat-of-the-pants method.
iPad sits a bit tilted because of the fact that right side fits within the left when folded but I’ll adjust, or shim if I don’t.
As delicate as it feels, I’m confident it will hold up in anything short of gale winds. I’ll probably tend to use it for seated playing more than standing. Only time will tell if its clever engineering holds up. Hope it does because its going to be my daily carry.

When my order was delayed, Joe, from Noisyclan, replied to my enquiry very quickly and politely.

I have since received the product, the Noisy Decoder. It is an excellent tool, much more than I expected, and I will encourage my musical friends to invest in one as well.

Great customer service! I ordered a music stand and then Royal Mail, whilst industrial action was occurring, sent a delivery notice, yet I hadn't received the stand. Noisy Clan answered my query rapidly, stayed in touch with me, assured me that other customers had the same error message and generally made me feel secure about the purchase. The stand arrived yesterday. I'm learning to use it and am sure it will allow me to consign at least two of those horrid fold up stands to the charity shops. Hip Hip Hooray!!

The service I received was prompt and efficient and I was kept informed (tracked delivery).

As someone who plays music for a very long time, I am always pleased to learn about new tips, gadgets, and approaches, also going back to the basics and listening to different people teaching in various ways.

The Decoder is a great learning tool, first and foremost. I would like to say that it SHOULDN'T BE THE ONLY learning tool, as visual memorisation is just a fragment of knowledge, and the magic happens when you understand how things work. So, if you are still learning, or you maybe forgot, or would like to share with your bandmates on the gig, to help them, I would highly recommend this.

I was so happy to be an early supporter of the WeeStand. As a tuba player, with a very large horn in a heavy hard case, it’s important to keep the rest of my “kit” (the stuff I need to carry with me when I leave home) to a minimum, light, and less bulky. After having a small problem where the frame cracked and broke, I was even more delighted to have Joe offer the best kind of support. He was friendly, curious, and made sure we had a replacement sent out. It’s so great to have a company like this filled with creative musicians who can turn their ideas into wonderful products. We can’t wait to see what will come next!
