Jeg vil gerne dele min oplevelse med Nordic Expat og især Casper – en service, der virkelig skiller sig ud, når det kommer til professionalisme og punktlighed.

Fra første kontakt var kommunikationen klar, venlig og effektiv. Casper udviste en imponerende grad af struktur og overblik, og det var tydeligt, at han har styr på hver eneste detalje i processen. Det gav en stor tryghed fra start, især i en situation hvor man ofte kan føle sig lidt usikker.

Noget af det, der virkelig gjorde indtryk på mig, var Caspers punktlighed. Alle aftaler blev overholdt til tiden – ikke bare nogenlunde, men præcist. Det er sjældent, man oplever den slags pålidelighed, og det gjorde hele forløbet langt mere behageligt og stressfrit.

Derudover var serviceniveauet helt i top. Casper var altid tilgængelig for spørgsmål, fulgte op løbende og sørgede for, at jeg følte mig godt informeret hele vejen igennem. Det er tydeligt, at han går op i sit arbejde og sine kunder.

Alt i alt en meget positiv oplevelse med Nordic Expat. Hvis du leder efter en samarbejdspartner, der leverer høj kvalitet, overholder sine aftaler og sætter kunden først, kan jeg klart anbefale Casper og hans team.

Dependable and efficient.

Have been with this outlet for a couple of years now and has been my go-to store when looking for particular Scandinavian items and I have never been disappointed. I can always trust this company to deliver every time I order and items are always well parcelled. Prices are fair and there is a good range of products to choose from. I expect I will remain a regular customer for quite a while yet.

First, we would like to address your claim that you were “charged 3 times.” Based on our payment records, this is not the case. What occurred were multiple payment authorization attempts, not multiple captured charges.

During checkout, the following payment attempt actions were initiated:
- Apple Pay (Visa tokenized card) at 12:22 on 14 April
- Google Pay (Visa tokenized card) at 16:51 on 14 April
- Card payment (Visa) at 16:53 on 14 April

Each of these represents a separate payment attempt initiated during the checkout process. Each attempt generates a separate authorization request with the card issuer, which may appear as a temporary pending reservation in your bank account.

Please note that authorization requests are triggered by user-driven checkout actions. Multiple attempts can occur if a customer retries payment, selects an alternative payment method, or if the checkout process is submitted more than once due to browser behavior, session timing, or network interruptions.

Importantly, no payments were captured for these attempts. The authorizations are temporary holds placed by your bank and are not final charges. Any reserved funds will be released automatically according to your card issuer’s policies.

Secondly, regarding your comment that you “can barely get in contact with us,” our records show the following:
Your emails were received on 16 April at 08:28, 08:58, and 09:01, and we responded at 10:20 the same morning. This is well within our stated 48-hour response window and significantly faster than the maximum timeframe communicated in our support policy.

As already confirmed to you via email:
- Your order has been cancelled as requested
- No payments have been captured
- Any pending authorizations have been voided or will automatically expire and be released by your bank

While we understand that multiple authorization entries can be confusing, these represent temporary bank-held authorizations rather than completed charges.

Avoid at all costs!

If I could do negative stars I would.
I was trying to surprise my wife with danish food but this experience has caused stress.
The company has decided to charge me 3 times for one order. They have took over £400 from me when the order only came to £133.21. I will avoid this shop and will not recommend this shop to anyone. My bank is notified!
Got money refunded, they said I used apple pay...I don't have an apple phone, never had one and wouldn't even know how to use one.

Great experience in getting a hard to find food item!

Great experience! These guys are the only people that carry a very special tea that you can only get in and around Denmark (I'm in the US). The shipping was extremely fast and the prices are very good. The customer service was excellent as well. They were very friendly and fast to respond to any questions. I couldn't recommend Nordic Expat Shop more, so please give them some business!

I have made several orders and I can highly recommend them! Delivered in France in just a few days, one time a little extra gift and the one time they were sold out of what I had ordered they replaced it with two others. Only great experiences!

Had what I have been looking for to import for years. Fast delivery straight on the door. Reasonable prices. I will soon order again. 100% recommended shop.

If you ever get Krosalami life is complete. But the Salami was really good.

I'm already placing another order!

My (Danish) dad wanted the Tyborg Christmas beer so I ordered it with some snacks, rice pudding, Faxe Kondi and other family favourites. It arrived to Australia within just 4 days of placing the order - which is incredibly quick for any order from Europe. I couldn't believe it and neither could my dad. I wish i had found their website sooner!

Once again perfection

Once again perfection! Nordic never disappoints with their speedy delivery of merchandise and good quality products. I’m always so impressed with their careful packaging of each item. DHL delivered in 4/5 days from my order.

Excellent Customer Services - but read the Returns Policy small print…

An Excellent Customer Service experience - but read the Returns Policy small print before ordering; I ordered a kilo of their renowned Laeso salt as a gift and ended up losing £34 and had nothing to show for it. This was entirely down to FedEx, the US delivery company, being unable to negotiate our doorbell system, then leaving voicemails or suggesting I sign in to their website. As this seemed to involve leaving credit card details - bearing in mind the numerous scams involving courier services, this seemed a poor idea.
A return was instigated, and I became liable for the return shipping charges back to Denmark. The Returns small print covers both Nordic Expat and FedEx to make sure YOU are liable for any charges not them. I received a refund of £6 on an outlay of £40, thus losing £34 and, of course, receiving no product. The only reason I awarded two stars and not one was that NordicExpat at least had the decency to write a detailed response, with regrets. But I remain out of pocket and with the distinct impression of having been taken advantage of.
HOWEVER - all is forgiven; since submitting this review, Nordic Expat have got back to me and issued a full refund and a detailed and graceful response to the situation. This is a generous gesture of goodwill, which I imagine represents a loss for the company and goes above and beyond what many companies would do. So I am no longer out of pocket and my faith is restored in humanity in general and the people of Denmark in particular. The weak link in the chain has been the US company FedEx.

Favorite goodies…

I love the variety of my favorite Danish goodies and love to shop the website, excellent customer service, everything is packed perfectly and nothing has ever been smashed like glass jars! Love everything about my shopping experience!! I wish I could shop more often, but shipping to USA is a bit costly and that’s the ONLY complaint I have! Quick delivery which I do love!

Really great experience

We have just tried the Nordic Expat Shop for a delivery to Italy for the first time - and we were really impressed. The selection of products is very good, the website easy to use - and all the goods were received in time and in excellent condition. We will definitely use the NES regularly for all the Danish products we still wish to be able to get - this is much easier than bringing them back with us when visiting Denmark.

These guys take their time to wrap the items so that nothing breaks, they are not expensive and give you the best price. The availability is perfect!
I ordered a big package on December 12 from USA and I had the package Monday afternoon. Fantastic service!

Satisfied over several years

I get what i buy most - times -and delivery ios fast and goods in general arrive undamaged. Only thing to complain about is the price level for some of the cheeses and the flour mixes, which you in general can buy at 25% of the price when in Denmark, but I fully accept that a company has to make money to exist - and if I don't want to pay the price i can just not buy, so - value for money is not always the bes
