They made an offer to buy my car through Carwow. Obviously, many photos of the car were provided. On the day of inspection and collection, their representative called to confirm the appointment then, last minute called again to reschedule.
Surprisingly, he told me that they now noticed a damage on the front bumper which I am not aware of by the way and cannot spot! But anyway, he said that the price needs to be negotiated and to knock a few hundred pounds off the price!!
I would expect- from a professional point of view at least- to examine the photos very carefully before making an offer and then if something comes up at inspection that wasn't clear in the photos, renegotiate!
I to cancel a sale based on photos that you have previously examined thoroughly without even inspecting the car in the first place.
Very inconvenient and unpleasant experience that wasted time and frankly money I’ve put to reserve another car.
