I cancelled my monthly subscription, but they still fraudulently took the money from my account. My request for a refund was refused despite me providing evidence of my cancellation email. They actually claimed that they "didn't believe" my evidence and proceeded to just argue with me instead.

I'm sure they'll reply to this review with some absolute nonsense justification just like they have the others.

I strongly recommend that you listen to the myriad of other negative reviews and weigh up the many other competitors that Oddsmonkey has instead. Most of their guides are outdated junk anyway that will simply get you banned from the betting sites... it's their community that holds this shamble of a website together, not the staff!

Don't make my mistake and ignore the negative reviews. Seriously... don't give them your money.

Ultimately I decided that arguing with them wasn't worth my time, so chargeback with my bank was issued.

P.S. Ever notice how most of the 5-star reviews are from unverified accounts with only one review? They run frequent competitions on their forum to win Amazon vouchers in exchange for reviews.

Decided to give it a go, created an account with their partner sight' verified my email address now I can't log in and it's trying to tell me it's a duplicate account, OK. Also wanted my address for some reason. Whent back to odds monkey, there's no way to delete your account and it's also telling me that I've tried to login from multiple devices when they can clearly see it's the same device 3 times lol. Don't bother seems like a load of hassle and possibility of getting de-freuded from giving your details like a dress, bank details etc

It’s decent for beginners to make a few quid but with the new service, well what can u say or ask ermm not very much or they will boot you out the community group so people can’t see you’re asking for clear figures on what the tools have produced in order to help fellow members with bankroll n staking clear lack of transparency with the new service. Don’t break any rules and you still get booted off

Paid for the top tier plan but they've suddenly introduced a higher plan. Despite buying the annual plan that was advertised as including everything on site, and as all access.

Refused to even offer a week trial of the new service. You want me to drop £430 without seeing what the service is even like? Its probably as bad as the current service.

The worst thing is they sent an email about a month free trial, I got excited, thought this may be the saving grace to keep my subscription at the end of the year. But you must buy a month First... fair enough except they dont let you buy a month either. You have to buy an annual plan, place 500 bets in a month and not make a profit for a month for them to give you a free month on top of your annual plan. Confused yet?

They offer you £70 worth of weekly club offers and £140 worth of reload offers

In terms of their current service. Its terrible, I've found more bets on third party sites. The forums are very outdated, you're honestly better off using a free service. They're no where near profit accumulator good either. To whom I'm switching back to, despite having oddsmonkey at half the price.

Honestly how bad does your service have to be, where you can't offer your existing customers a short trial of your new service.

Honestly lost me as a long term purchaser, over what? A short 7 day trial.

Customer support had the cheek to say purchase the annual plan for the new service, if you dont like it within 14 days, we wont refund you but instead we'll credit your old plan.

Perfect another two of this disaster

Hi I wanted to share my recent experience with Odds Monkey premium membership so people know what to expect. (I signed up to 12 months membership)

While they suck you in with easy sign-up offers, once these are over you are forced to use the weekly reloads page. Here they offer very little guidance on how to successfully & consistently execute these offers & truthfully just leave you to guess your way through.

While the customer service is good & you'll always be able to talk to someone, the information they give you tends not to make things clearer & you just find yourself going around in circles.

I tried for a long time to find consistent methods with the tools available but to no avail.

My experience with the main competitors' Outplayed is much better (clearer & more concise instructions) & my advice would be to look here first & not to waste your time with OddsMonkey!

Fantastic platform. It really is as good as it seems it is, very easy to use and the guides explain everything extremely well. The community is always very active and helpful, with other members also helping to find profitable bets. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Oddsmonkey is a GREAT site for teaching beginners to matched betting without being predatory to customers. They are transparent with what is considered risky, and what is guaranteed to be profitable. They have a fantastic community that help newbies like myself out. They offer fantastic tools to make matched betting fast, so you can squeeze it in every day for a few minutes, and turn out hundreds of £ a month.

Their competitor Outplayed felt way more predatory and would not point out risks whereas oddsmonkey would point out areas of potential risks if there are any. Outplayed just wants your money, no wonder they are not the best site anymore.

Completely new to matched betting, OddsMonkey makes it easy to understand, there's a user guide for every aspect. The tools are great and you can make your monthly sub back in one day at the weekend. Plus CS is top notch. Highly recommended, if you are unsure about getting into MB, give the free trail a shot, you won't regret it!

I had heard of Matched Betting back during Covid but the concept seemed daunting to me and I backed away from it. I wish I hadn't backed away knowing what I know now.

Anyway, about 2-3 months ago, I followed some posts on the r/beermoneyuk subreddit about Matched Betting. Eventually, I took the plunge and joined OddsMonkey (OM) just over a month ago. initially using their free trial (but have since moved to All Access).

I've made a profit I wouldn't have thought possible just using their bookie sign-up offers and have now moved on to Casino sign-up offers, too. I can see this becoming a tidy side hustle.

The whole process through OM has been remarkably smooth and wholly positive. Their guides are fantastic. But I think the jewels in the crown have been the community (the Facebook group is amazing) and their customer service team.

The trial didn't explain what you were doing it just told you what steps you needed to do, so it created confusion.

I messed up my second bet, and here lies in the number one reason why I am not happy with this platform, the customer service is extremely slow, I put a message on facebook, discord, discussion page and email i got no reply until it was too late, I ended up asking the exchange company how to I cancel the lay bet (as there was no information in the trial on how to do this or if it were even possible). Unfortunately, they too didn't make it clear that i needed to put on 2 lay bets one to cancel out the incorrect bet and lose a few pence but put on a second correct lay bet, in my head i had already lay the bet so didn't know this, so i lost a few pence, again this is not in the trial info so there is no way I would have known this.

This was why they need to redesign the trial it does not nearly give enough info for saying you are staking real money.

I did however, sign up, yes the easy single bets a good for making small amounts of money but unfortuantely if you have a question you won't get a reply fast enough, they need to urgently increase and improve their customer service response rates and where that is given because bets are of course time critical and the support is woeful inadequte, i was stressing out that i would lose alot of money due to the lack of support.

There are some bets where the guides simply make no sense no matter how many times i read them espcially to someone like me with no knowledge on betting or sports or the lingo, and some have commented upon a couple of guides i had seen saying a video would would make it easier to understand due the complexness of what it is. In either case they need to re-clarify and rewrite what the process is for each bet type using a 1,2,3 step format.

One suggestion is that they need an app, as it's not possible to do any bets via mobile, the responsive website and small mobile screen won't help.

Overall, i'll stick with it but may move to a different platform to see if they are any better and I'm going to stick to doing the easy bets for the time being.

Oddsmonkey as a web application works pretty well and I can see a lot of time and trouble has gone into the various tools etc.

So my review is not so much a criticism of Oddsmonkey itself as an opinion about matched betting in general, and all the stuff you need to have in place to make it work.

Many will likely disagree, but matched betting is a complicated way of making money, and requires a fair bit of initial setup to work smoothly. First it's probably best to have a bank account and email address you use pretty much only for matched betting. This may mean opening new accounts which can be a hassle, but it does make life a bit easier in the long run. Apart from the security alerts your bank may issue when you start transferring money to bookmakers, which can happen i.e. more hassle.

Then there's the signing up to bookmakers' websites - straightforward on some, but a lot less so on others who want documents, ID checks etc etc - you begin to wonder if it's really worth bothering in some cases. As a result of giving my phone number out to so many places in these sign-ups I'm now getting spammed with text messages, which is also not ideal.

The one thing I found didn't always work on Oddsmonkey was the click-through placement of bets i.e. placing the bet right from Oddsmonkey without having to navigate the bookmaker sites. It worked fine for Smarkets, but not for individual bookmakers - which is a pain because their sites are awkward and time-consuming to navigate.

In the end I just felt uninspired by the whole process. It felt like hard work and nothing more. I persevered until I'd made back my Oddsmonkey subscription plus a bit extra then decided to call it a day.

Matched betting might be great if you're already familiar with betting, but it's honestly not for everyone.

I really don’t understand the Free Bet a liability of £85.00 just to get a profit of £16.00.The £85.00 seems to disappear.

I really want to appreciate the service of a oddsmonkey. Started matched betting two weeks ago. I have learned a lot thanks to oddsmonkey and their tools

OddsMonkey is great. Easy to read instructions, this site is above average and long may it continue. You will learn a lot from Oddsmonkey.
