Total incompetence

I purchased a new pair of women's trainers on 16 May. Two pairs of men's trainers arrived instead.

One whole month and 13 emails later: No trainers; No refund; No apology; 3 failed pick-ups of the men's trainers by Yodel; and no way of escalating to a senior manager to resolve.

And now I am told that I will not get a refund until an unknown gentleman returns my misdirected order too.

Looking at the one star reviews this company clearly has major problems in its operations that have gone on for years.

Absolutely horrific experience. Just avoid them

I would give zero.
This may be a scam company or having a bad week but my order has still now been delivered on a next day service. It’s been 4 days.
They keep saying there is an address issue with Yodel. Which is nonsense because I’ve confirmed it 2 times already.
Offcuts have no telephone so be warned. You need to wait 24 hours for them to email you back.
If you want a smooth process that’s hassle free just pay the extra £10 and buy them in a shop.

What a fantastic way to help the Unemployed people of the UK in these times of hardship. Depending on the grade you require they do an ingenious way of grading the footwear to be sold. I have purchased 2 pairs of trainers the last being an off-white pair of Adidas
hi-tops, and they are brilliant, really comfortable. I know where to come the next time. An Easy website to maneuver through and the secure payment is brilliant. Many thanks given to Offcuts shoes 10/10.

Customer Service is Appalling

I received an incorrect pair of shoes, so I returned them and contacted the company to see whether I was going to get the original pair I ordered or a refund. I received no apology for the mistake and the customer adviser I dealt with was incredibly rude and not interested in resolving the error. He then tried to say they'd not received the shoes back (luckily I had proof they had been delivered and signed for by OFFICE). This could have been really easily rectified by an apology for the error and an explanation of whether I was going to get the shoes I ordered. No apology was ever given, I was eventally refunded without an explanation but then I had to chase them again to get my return postage refunded! Appalling customer service! This was my first time shopping with OFFCUTS and I won't be returning.

Although your return was confirmed by the courier as delivered, we still have to follow an internal returns process which we advise can take up to 7-10 days.

Have bought several times …

Have bought several times and never had to return an item. However my last order included sandals that were too badly scuffed, more so than description. So I wanted to return. I have just read the return policy and unlike others the postage is on you and there is no return bar code so I would have to record delivery in order to have proof I posted item in case it does not get to destination. By the time I have done this, having already paid a delivery charge the cost would be the same price as the sandal. Will not be buying again as the return policy is not up to par.
