Wow. 1.1 stars. Wasn't expecting that. Normally I don't have any issues with them. However when I tried to add photos I could only add them through my Samsung gallery app. Which would have been fine except the app keeps dropping my photos. Which is my next review! I can't get the app to except picures from another photo storage app. I thought I would try the website? May there is a different choice. I had to ask chatGPT where was the post button because I was not seeing it. Oh you can only list through the app on your phone. Great...

Tried to setup an account to sell an item. After 1 1/2 hours going through setup, I gave up. Process was horribly inefficient and would not let me complete the process.

Posted suspension parts (rear air bags) and it was taken down because staff don't know the difference between federally regulated safety crash air bags and unrelated suspension air bags which are on luxury cars to adjust ride. Wouldn't recommend OfferUp.

Offer up is a big scam website.Stay away from them. I advertised my plumbing business and paid a subscription for seventy five dollars for the month. After my post should've been live on their website, it was wasn't even posted $,75 went into the grubby hands of whoever owns offer up and when I tried to get a refund and get an explanation on why my services wasn't posted that I was paying for they went ahead and blocked me. And said , I was not following guidelines , which makes no sense. Still tell this day I asked why I'm suspended from offer up for just trying to get an explanation on why they didn't post my services.I paid for and I still haven't got a response from them through email. Scam website, stay away, go elsewhere.If you want to advertise your business or let alone sell something marketplaces , the way to go.

Premium 100% waste of money, does nothing. They kept remove my listing saying it was medical supply and it was a oxygen tank for Welding. Worst people and owners. No help ever just AI crap with the Oh were Sorry line in every response. Never use it again. Used to be great along with Let go, but they ruined both. BEWARE STAY AWAY.

Offer up sucks. Why would any one want to screw around on a phone to post ads when you have PC with a 40" screen and all my files? This is why the ads all suck. People doing the minimum.

Offerup is trash. They refuse to stop sending notifications even when you have disabled all notifications. The reality is they use ai instead of real customer service and they bypass all security measures you take to not get alerts. They break all agreements that they say are in your control. Nonstop advertising outweighs any potential deals you can find. Not to mention the second you search for something you have apparently signed up for notifications on your search that will annoy the #### out of you. Especially if youve been proactive and disabl3d all notifications. #### you offerup.

Posted a boat and trailer for sale here and it was promptly removed for violating some phantom policy?! It was a very exhaustive ad describing the boat with motor and the trailer. I had nothing in the ad that was questionable, untrue or otherwise illegal. I have the same rig posted on 3 other sites and there are no issues. Customer service(Matthew) came into the App chat, probably read my question and and then promptly posted a CLOSED FOR THE DAY at 10am! Ridiculous service, terrible app. Just because it is annoying I will also report that the Inbox function in the app always has a (1) on it like there is a message waiting ... When there Is or Was not! Additionally,they double charged me the $7.99 Promotion fee which did Nothing to increase my ad activity before they inexplicably removed it! Avoid this useless and troublesome app, use eBay, Craigslist or any other means to buy or sell your items.

OfferUp has proven to be a cesspool of scammers. We are downsizing and moving to a smaller apartment, so we wanted to sell some furniture. After listing the items on OfferUp, I was flooded with interest from over two dozen fake accounts: they didn't show up when agreed, they stopped messaging, they asked for personal information. At least one made me laugh: A "buyer" wanted to purchase my electric grill ... for trips to the beach! On balance, it was a huge waste of time.

Literally the worst app in existance. Look at the amount of people who have had their accounts banned for no reason. Personally, Ive created an account and use a VPN so you guys have absolutely no idea who i am, or where the account is coming from. I have had no issues since, and there is nothing you can do about it :)

Ever since Offerup was purchased by "Lego" i think it was. I have NOT been able to sell one single thing, offerup is a mistake for sure. SMH

Terrible app. I listed multiple high quality items at reasonable rates and got zero requests or inquiries. The one and only time someone was interested in an item (after 2 weeks of listing) I drove 30 minutes to deliver it and she backed out at the last minute.

I'm also a handyman and thought I could list my services until realizing that they want a $70 a month fee to list. That's egregious! Sticking to CL and FB.

I listed my furniture for sale on OfferUp—I even paid a full $75—yet I only received 4 views. How is that even possible? What is the point of advertising, then? #offerup

Do not use offer up for your dealership. I was offered a special 3 month promotion. It did not drive one sale!! After the the months I was told that I would have to send an email to cancel and I would have an additional charge
For next cycle!!! Not what I was told upfront.
Also way too difficult to cancel!!! No Thanks!!

I recently decided to give offerup a try after years of having the app but never utilizing it. I was looking to purchase a queen size mattress and a few hours later my account was disabled due to violating community guidelines. No warning, no explanation just disabled. I ended up reaching out to their support for them to explain to me what I did wrong and received an email back stating that they reserve the right to deactivate anyone and for any reason without any excuses. That was the extent of the conversation. Never in my life have I been deactivated from any platform and in this case it was for no good reason. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. I’m just giving a heads up to anyone that’s thinking about using their app or website that that’s how they operate their business. Just be aware!
