There were problems with delivering my article but just as I was about to raise a complaint I got an apology via email and was offered a more expensive replacement product in exchange.
So the only complaint I could give is the delivery time as the product is really high quality

The company upgraded the cutting board to a larger size for free because the size I ordered has ran out of stock.

I love, LOVE my Sakai Kyuba knives set. My neighbours bought one a couple of months ago and each time I was visiting them, I was a little bit envious and wanted to get those knives for our household. It was my hubby's birthday last month so I purchased them for the perfect excuse :) Win, win, if you ask me :)

The knife is amazing, looking beautiful and sharp like a razor. Absolutely brilliant

The delivery process took many weeks, three times as long as originally stated. This can happen in today's time, but: An information about this from the supplier there was only on demand from our side. On top of that there was an invoice from customs, which was very high. Both is a little unpleasant. The goods then eventually arrived at least undamaged.

Amazing service, and loved the chopsticks I received they looked exactly like the photo and are really good quality

What a beautiful mortar!
I just bought a pestle and mortar from Oishya and I couldn't be happier. To be honest, at first I was a bit on the fence - it's quite pricey, but reading Oishya's story I got hooked. I even got a chance to talk to the founder - Kamila and she was so nice and genuine I made the leap.
I will be coming back for more!

For starters, their customer service is excellent; Kamila is very considerate. Aside from the beauty of the razor-sharp Damascus steel blades, the handles are exquisite and elegant. Cutting has never before been this fun.
It's probably wise to specify in your living trust who you want to inherit them; there may be some hurt feelings by everyone else, but it may help avoid any animated 'food fights.'

I had no problems at any stage of the way, and frequent enough updates that I was not worried about whether my shipment was lost.

I ordered a brass magnetic knife rack and a number of things did not work out AT ALL. Most importantly, the rack itself was of poor quality, and didn't securely hold even the most basic kitchen knives (they slid and fell off the magnet). It was shipped in a soft, plastic envelope with bubble wrap, and you guessed it, the rack was damaged upon arrival. I reached out asking about returns/refunds, but after the first email exchange where I shared videos as they requested, the line went dead. On the surface, this company presents itself as a craft, boutique brand that is passionate about quality, but in the end, it's actually scammy. It feels like they are just a pass-through business that buys cheap products from someone else and has them shipped in less than adequate packaging - and takes no responsibility for customer service. We like to support smaller businesses, but this one, sadly, does not live up to its purported promises. And now I have a damaged, less-than-useful knife rack that I paid good money for (USD$180 + $39 shipping). Caveat emptor.

I bought this magnetic knife stand block as a gift for my husband to display his new Santoku knifes. I was a little disappointed as I expected the magnets to be stronger. You can’t place any knifes at the very edges of the block. It is well made and I like the product just didn’t meet my expectation regarding the strength of the magnets. Delivery was quick, packaging a bit flimsy.

I recently purchased the Oishya mortar and I have to say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. The mortar is made of high-quality materials and is very sturdy, so it can handle heavy use without breaking or chipping.

The size of the mortar is also perfect for grinding spices and herbs, and the pestle is very effective at breaking down ingredients into a fine paste. I particularly love the smooth surface of the mortar, as it makes it easy to clean and maintain.

Overall, I highly recommend the Oishya mortar to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality kitchen tool. It is a great investment that will surely last for years to come.

Excellent sharpening stone, I finally have decent knives again!

Great customer support. I had questions about transport to Belgium. They answered immediately and the package arrived quickly.

I ordered a wooden chopping block that although beautiful has a strange smell that won't go away. Customer service was slow to respond. All round very disappointed. I would recommend avoiding.

Having now purchased twice from them I would recommend them to anyone looking for high quantity Japanese items .
My first purchase was a Nakiri knife which is fantastic. The second purchase was a very nice magnetic knife block, which was damaged in transit but has been replaced quickly and painlessly.

The knives were better than expected. Super Excited to start using them!!
