Customer Care dept. made every effort to solve our small dilemma,
I was initially disappointed with the company sales policy regarding a replacement mug following an accidental breakage.
Unfortunately we broke one of our Cochineal coloured mugs (from the Kintaro range sold in a box of four at £50) Entirely our fault, a slip of the hand during washing. I have edited my original review as the response from the customer service department has been very good, with three communications offering possible solutions and attempts to help. This is rare in today’s retail sales and Nikki in the department has been exemplary in her efforts, hence my edited review.
These are lovely quality mugs, great finish and feel. A pleasure to use, but if you have the misfortune to break one you will have buy another four to make up your ‘set’. Just a warning. Handle with care!

The in-store team at Guildford were…
The in-store team at Guildford were great. What lets you down is your delivery partner DPD. DPD lost my £400 order and it had to be repurchased and sent out. Change your delivery partner. DPD is shocking & I will question whether to purchase again from OKR as a result.

Thank you for your feedback — we completely understand why this would feel disappointing, and we’re sorry for any frustration caused.
We have recently introduced a small, tiered charge for our Click & Collect service to reflect the cost of picking, packing, and transporting orders to your chosen store. These costs have increased in line with rises in wages, employment costs, and fuel. That said, we do still absorb part of the cost ourselves, and we aim to keep our rates in line with other premium homeware and furniture brands.
We appreciate that this may not be what customers expect when selecting store collection, and your feedback is incredibly helpful as we continue to review how we communicate and deliver this service.

Extremely Helpful
I experienced a bit of confusion, trying to order a sale chair on line. I phoned the nearest store, Guildford, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They even completed the order for me, the chair arrived 3 days later. Perfect.

Glass marble pendant light shade.
Purchased a "marble" glass pendant light fitting which was out of the ordinary in the sale. Delighted with the item. (I would have scored 5 stars if there was a collect from store option. For some inexplicable reason OKA have not caught up with other retailers in this respect and I had no other option other than pay an extra £10 for delivery, or wait some considerable time for a certified electricians to disassemble one on show in the shop).

OKA has a good selection of furniture
OKA has a good selection of furniture, lighting and soft furnishings and is very well laid out. Charlotte, in the Guildford store, couldn’t have been more helpful with my purchases, even arranging a courier firm to pick up from their store to deliver to me. She went the extra mile.
